: Consider both soft and hard

: Consider both soft and hard

After three months of discussions, revisions and additions.

The local religion of Zhuxia was finally born in advance.

In the meantime, Zhang Yue tried his best to spare time to participate in the affairs after handling the affairs of the Duhu Mansion.

Finally, after everyone unanimously agreed, this local religion belonging to Zhuxia was named Taoism.

The only difference from the newly born "Taoism" in history is that.

Taoism, which was born in history, is a monotheistic religion like Christianity and Green Religion, and the supreme god is God Haotian.

It later became polytheism because it had to make changes in order to survive after the defeat of two religious wars.

Moreover, the God Haotian was removed and Sanqing was replaced as the supreme god.

But today's Taoism has been a polytheistic religion since its birth, and there are many immortal gods under the supreme god Haotian.

Because of Zhang Yue's relationship, these immortals and gods also have strict systems.

The etiquette for worshiping God Haotian when the former emperor consecrated Mount Tai was formulated by Confucianism, and this etiquette cannot be used by the people.

Therefore, Lu Fang, Du Ling and others re-formulated the etiquette for worshiping God Haotian and the Three Pure Ones and Four Imperial Kings according to Zhang Yue's requirements.

Nowadays, the new supreme god of Taoism is God Haotian, who is in charge of the avenue of the universe.

Under the Haotian God are the Three Pure Ones, and below that are the Four Imperial Guards.

Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun, and Taiqing Daode Tianzun (Taishang Laojun) are the Three Pure Ones.

In later generations of Taoism, Yuanshi Tianzun has the highest status and is generally enshrined in the center of the Sanqing Hall; Lingbao Tianzun occupies the second position and is enshrined on the left side of Yuanshi Tianzun; Taishang Laojun is enshrined on the right side of Yuanshi Tianzun.

This life is different, there is no difference in the status of the Three Pure Ones. When worshiping, the Taiqing Daode Tianzun is in the middle, and the Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun and Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun are on the left and right.

It is determined that Taoist Laozi is the incarnation of Taiqing's moral deity in the human world.

Respect Laozi as the ancestor of Taoism, and regard Laozi's work "Tao Te Ching" as the ancestor of Taoism.

Under the Three Purities are the Four Emperors, who are the four emperors who assist the Three Purities.

They are the Jade Emperor, who ranks first among the four emperors and is in charge of the way of heaven.

The North Pole Emperor in the middle of the sky, Ziwei, assists the Jade Emperor in controlling the latitude and longitude of the sky, the sun, the moon, the stars, and the climate of the four seasons.

Gou Chen went to the palace to assist the Jade Emperor in controlling the world's weapons and weapons, and controlling the stars.

The fourth one is the Houtu Emperor, who is in charge of the birth of yin and yang, the earth, mountains and rivers. The Taishan Lord is the assistant of the Houtu Emperor, managing the souls of life and death.

Under the Four Imperial Guards are the four divine beasts, responsible for suppressing evil spirits.

The gods of the four directions are Qinglong, Suzaku, White Tiger and Xuanwu.

Under the four divine beasts are the star gods.

The highest status among the star gods is the Big Dipper God, and only the Big Dipper God is fixed.

Ordinary star gods are not fixed, and mortals can also become star gods through practice.

Under the Star God is the Yin and Yang God who is responsible for managing the world in all directions.

According to the different paths of cultivation, Yang Shen is divided into two types: Immortal God.

Immortals are not restricted and can practice freely, but when there is a crisis in the world, they need to go out to save people.

In Shinto, there are mountain gods, land gods, water gods, and sea gods from various places. The gods have no high or low status.

Unlike Immortalism, Shinto needs to assist the four emperors in managing the four directions.

According to the new Taoist theory, all things can become Yang gods after practicing cultivation.

The Yin God becomes a god after death. The Yin God does not need to practice, and can be directly named a god based on the contribution made by a person while alive.

The greater the contribution, the greater the chance of being enshrined as a god after death, and the higher the status. Among them, those who died to spread the civilization of Zhuxia will definitely become Yin gods after death.

The new Taoism also absorbed the six-path reincarnation theory of later Buddhism.

The six paths are: the immortal path, the human path, the animal path, the demon path, the ghost path, and the divine path. The six paths are controlled by Lord Taishan.

In order to limit Taoism's interference in the secular world and prevent Taoism from interfering with countries that have historically sought to establish the integration of politics and religion.

Zhang Yue specifically requested that one article be added to the new Taoist teachings.

"A cultivator must not interfere with secular imperial power."

As for how to express it in the Taoist scriptures, it is left to the alchemists headed by Lu Fang and Huang Lao.

Lu Fang and others did not leave Luntai after the meeting, and there were still more things left for them.

In addition to compiling various Taoist scriptures, Lu Fangdi people also need to continue to formulate etiquette for worshiping immortals and gods, and improve the immortal gods and the theory of six paths.

The remaining Huang Lao scholars and alchemists who participated in the meeting became the first batch of Taoist priests.

In the near future, they will also go to various places to spread Taoism under the escort of Han soldiers.

In September of the third year of Yuanfeng, Zhang Yue officially issued an order in the name of the Great Protector of the Western Regions to make Taoism the legal religion of the Western Regions.

A Department of Religious Management was established in Luntai to uniformly manage religious affairs.

The first chief of the Department of Religious Management was concurrently appointed by Yang You, assisted by Lu Fang.

Lu Fang was also awarded the title of "Heavenly Master" by Zhang Yue and became the de facto leader of premature Taoism.

Because Yang You himself had many things to do, after Zhang Yue discussed with Yang You, the post of Tiqisi that was originally held by him was changed to Zhang Yun.

In order to encourage the development of Taoism, Zhang Yue personally funded the reconstruction of the first Taoist temple in Luntai City and named it Taiyi Temple.

After Taoism was confirmed as a legal religion by Zhang Yue, Mani was the first to respond.

Mani publicly announced that he had converted to Taoism. He first took his whole family to Taiyi Temple to worship.

Then he announced that his family would fund the construction of two Taoist temples in the river.

After Mani, the King of Kucha, who had always followed the Han Dynasty, also announced his conversion to Taoism and established Taoism as the state religion. All the former Shaman temples in Kucha Kingdom were converted into Taoist temples.

After the Kucha Kingdom, Gumo, Cheshi, Shanshan, Shache, and Khotan also successively declared Taoism as their state religion.

After Zhang Yue dealt with religious matters, he once again turned his attention to the military aspect.

At this time, Chang'an's edict agreeing to military reform in the Western Regions had reached Luntai.

Zhang Yue began to reform the military system of the Western Regions according to the original plan.

This time, the organization of the Han army in the Western Regions was still based on tribes.

In the original military system of the Han Dynasty, the army was commanded by the captain, and Qu was commanded by the military marquis. There were two commanders between the captain and the military marquis.

There are officials under the song, and there are teams under the officials. There are tuns under the teams. What is the purpose of the tuns? Wu.

In most cases, the two commanders or commanders of other divisions do not have directly subordinate armies, but are only temporarily deployed.

This time, it was different after the restructuring. A fixed organization was established between the Ministry and the Qu.

Each division consists of three pieces plus the forces directly under the division headquarters.

The strength of such a division is about 2,000, because the strength of one division far exceeds the strength usually commanded by two commanders.

Therefore, Zhang Yue, after discussing with everyone, determined that the commander of the first division should be Sima of the other divisions.

The first branch is composed of two divisions plus security, logistics, siege, scout and other units directly under the department.

After the restructuring, the number of troops in the first unit increased from more than 5,000 to more than 6,000.

According to the new organization, both departments and divisions have the ability to fight independently.

In such a small-scale battle, a division or department can be dispatched according to the actual situation.

If it is a large-scale battle, several units will form an army and fight.
