109. Tania's Thriller Day

Tanya looked up at Ha La again:

"When Mr. Wright and Mr. Parr are in danger, who will you save first?"

Ha La said unhappily:

"What are you asking? Mr. Parr is just my uncle."

Tanya opened her eyes in surprise. Wasn't Wright's position in Halla's heart replaced by Parr?

Ha La's little face puffed up and she said:

"Wright is my father. All the people in the world combined cannot compare to Wright."

Tanya was stunned for a moment, and then suddenly realized that if Pal replaced Wright as Hola's uncle, then as Pal's brother, wouldn't he be Hola's father?

Ha La stretched out her little finger and pressed on Tanya's face:

"Sister Tanya, don't ask me questions like this in the future, I will be angry next time."

It seems that the weirdness hasn't completely changed the girl's mind.

Tanya didn't know if this was an isolated phenomenon or a common situation, but at least it could prove that evil has not completely swallowed up everything.

If there was still a chance, she would go and warn Hewen.

"Where is Mr. Wright now?"

Hala noticed something strange about Tanya:

"What's wrong."

Tanya held Ha La's hands:

"I have something important to do with my husband, please tell me."

Ha La and Tanya looked at each other for two seconds and said:

"He's in the basement and hasn't come out for a while."

A cheerful male voice came from the back right side of Tanya:

"What are you talking about? You look very happy."

Parr stood on the stairs, half leaning on the handrail, wearing a black bowler hat and a brown coat.

Tanya stayed there for half a second, then raised her head and looked at Pal with a normal expression:

"Mr. Parr, I have something to tell Mr. Wright."

Parr smiled like a gentleman:

"My brother doesn't allow anyone to disturb him casually. The same goes for you if you have anything to say to me. Alice, you go back to your room first."

Ha La glanced at the two of them and walked away obediently.

Tanya looked at Ha La's back and hesitated to speak, wanting to call her to stop her, but the girl immediately thought that if she really called Ha La at this moment, wouldn't it drag the girl into a larger dark vortex.

She knew that if she were herself now, even if she risked her life, she would leave the safe house and rush into the quiet and gloomy fog to find the truth of the incident.

But for ordinary people, which one is more important, life or the truth, is ignorance really worse? Living in confusion is at least living.

And Ha La is just a child, so what if he knew it? He could only put her in danger with him.

In the end, Tanya didn't say anything to stop Ha La and watched her slowly disappear from sight.

The two of them had a tacit agreement to wait until Ha La left before continuing the conversation.

Parr glanced at Tanya and continued:

"Is there anything important? Let's talk to Uncle Pal."

Tanya opened her mouth. She couldn't say that she felt that Parr was acting strange recently.

She didn't hesitate too much, her mouth moved on its own before her brain started to move, and she weaved a reasonable lie:

"Miss Enid asked me to bring a message to Mr. Wright. She asked me to bring a very personal message."

Parr nodded, smiled and invited:

"I understand, but you can't disturb Wright right now. Why don't you go out with me to buy something first? You should be able to go back to find him when we come back."

Tanya paused at the most normal interval, and then showed a sweet smile:

"Okay, Mr. Parr."

Parr looked at Tanya with a smile and said nothing.

After waiting for more than ten seconds, Tanya blinked in surprise:

"What's the matter, Mr. Parr?"

Parr said softly:

"I just suddenly remembered the first time we met. You were a little shy at that time, right?"

Tanya's throat moved imperceptibly. If she wanted to measure her relationship with Hevin, she should be closer to Benita than to Ha La, so...

Tanya nodded gratefully:

"If you hadn't hired me, Mr. Parr, I would probably still be struggling for a penny now. I really appreciate your help to me."

If the opponent is Wright, if the opponent is Wright, if the opponent is Wright.

I can……

Tanya bent slightly and bowed to Parr, her face slightly blushing:

"Thank you very much Mr. Parr."

Parr scratched his head:

"Did I interview you? I mean, although I paid for it, I seem to vaguely remember that it was Wright who interviewed you."

Bang, bang.

Tanya stiffened, and remembered that Benita said "Pal is the one who pays the salary." She almost smiled shyly, and then explained that she had said the wrong name.

No, what I said myself was thanking "Mr. Parr for his employment", and even if he wasn't interviewing her, her gratitude would not be out of the ordinary at all.

But Pal acted as if he had said that the interviewer was also Pal, and he also used the words "as if" and "vaguely" in his words.

Tanya put her hair behind her ears and smiled slightly:

"I remember it was Mr. Parr who interviewed me."

Parr smiled and patted his head:

"Look at my memory, I remembered it, okay, let's go."

Tanya followed Parr like a puppet, making every step as steady and steady as possible, burying her cowardice deep in her heart.

The two of them were walking in the snow under the ash trees. Tanya kept looking at Pal's back, and neither of them said a word.

Halfway there, she suddenly said with some embarrassment:

"I left something in the house, I'll go back and get it."

Pal also had no objection:

"Okay, then I'll wait for you at the gate."

Tanya turned around lightly and walked in the direction she came from. She was still trying to control the frequency of her footsteps to prevent her inner panic from being exposed.

Click.

Tanya closed the door gently, without even looking back, and walked towards the stairs leading to the basement.

There were only five meters left. If she walked another five meters, she would be able to warn Hevin.

"You are such a smart boy." Parr asked standing at the door.

Tanya stopped and turned around slowly, fear dancing around her like invisible tentacles, threatening to tear the girl into pieces at any moment.

Tanya said firmly:

"I'm not afraid of you."

Parr smiled and said:

"Of course, you are very brave, brave child, why do you feel something is wrong?"

Tanya slowly backed away and said:

"When you appeared, you should have appeared in the past two days, I was a little dizzy. I always felt that my memory was messed up. But when I lifted the curtain in front of my eyes, I found that it was not me who made the mistake.

, but others.

"And the source of all this is you, Mr. Parr."
