9. Detectives and Tricks

Boom! Boom!

It seems that the people outside the door have little patience.

Ogden walked to the door, opened it a crack, and asked angrily:

"Who are you?"

The person outside the door pushed the door straight in very rudely:

"We are detectives from Aaron City. I suspect that your son Jimmy is related to multiple murders. Now I want to take him away for investigation."

Ogden was surprised at first, then asked:

"You are not the police, you have no right to take my son away."

These two people were exactly the pair that the mayor brought to visit Hevin, the tall, thin detective and the muscular detective.

The tall and thin detective responded with a smile:

"We are detectives officially employed by the Allen Police Department. If necessary, I can come with a search warrant, but at that time, we will not be so gentle."

Jimmy stood up:

"I'll go with you."

The strong detective nodded:

"That's right. We are not bad people. I can guarantee that Jimmy will be safe when he is with us."

"I don't allow you to take my brother away like this." Nellie stood up, "Jimmy didn't do anything bad. Even according to the law, you are not qualified to take him away, let alone obtain a search warrant."

The two detectives looked at each other, seemingly surprised that there were people in such a small place who knew the law.

The tall and thin detective sneered:

"Okay, what you said makes sense, but we are looking for an extremely vicious criminal who already has many lives on his hands. We also heard that Jimmy might have seen him, so we wanted him to take us to the scene to see him.

look."

"Then you can ask him where he is here." Hewen suggested.

The tall and thin detective paused and explained:

"It will be better to let him go with us. We need him to identify the suspect, and now the people in the entire town are in danger, and the next victim may appear at any time. If you stop us today, then

If someone is killed in this town, they will die at your hands."

The corner of the tall and thin man's mouth curved:

"Are you a sinner, Miss Nelly, do you want to be a sinner, Mr. Hevin, do you want to be a sinner?"

Nellie and Jimmy's parents were immediately speechless and didn't know how to refute.

The muscular man walked up to Jimmy and said:

"As long as you help us catch the bad guy, you will protect everyone in the town and you will be everyone's hero, how about it?"

Jimmy was also a little wavering:

"Yes, really?"

Jimmy looked at Hevin, could he also become a hero like Hevin?

"Hahahahahaha." Hewen kept laughing while holding his belly.

The tall and thin detective looked at Hewen:

"What, Mr. Hunter, do you want to deprive a child of his dream and decide for him whether to become a hero? You don't have this right."

Hewen stopped his smile, looked at the tall and thin man and said:

"No, I have. It should be said that every person with conscience has this right and obligation."

The tall and thin detective looked evil and threatened:

"Maybe you don't know who you are talking to, let me remind you..."

Hewen interrupted him rudely:

"I know who I'm talking to, you two cowards. Now I'm starting to wonder if you are detectives hired by the police department. After all, lying should be commonplace for people like you."

The tall and thin man did not immediately refute, but asked with great interest:

"What kind of people are we?"

Hevin explained:

"A scum who puts children in danger for money and reputation is indeed a good sophistry, blaming the failure to catch the criminal on indifferent passers-by.

"According to your logic, in addition to telling you all the news he knows, Jimmy has to go to the front line with you and take huge risks to investigate a serial murderer. From this point of view, everyone who has not taken the initiative to help you

All civilians should be sent to prison.

"You haven't been in the industry for a year or two, right? Don't you still know how dangerous it is to investigate the murderer where he may appear? No, I think you know, but you are not like you said,

You really care about the lives of ordinary people, you only care about whether you can solve the case.

"Cleverly using potential victims to shake our morals, but actively putting an underage child in the victim's position, putting his life in danger."

Hewen walked up to the two detectives step by step and said:

"Please go back. Jimmy will cooperate with the police who come to inquire and tell everything he knows, but it is impossible for him to go with you."

The tall and thin man smiled. He did not expect that he would be in such a situation.

But he is not an amateur bad guy. He has made complete preparations long ago, and now these preparations can come in handy.

The detective put his mouth to Hewen's ear and said in a voice that only the two of them could hear:

"You don't have any nieces. I don't care where you abducted or bought that little girl. As long as you help us now, how about I not expose you?"

The detective specifically checked Hevin's background and found that he did not have any brothers or sisters at all, so the origin of this girl was very intriguing, and as far as he knew, human trafficking was not a new thing in this land.

Hewen smiled indifferently:

"Holla is the daughter of my friend. Her mother is the kind of big shot that small city detectives can't find."

Jimmy's father also spoke, and he pulled out the long sword on the wall:

"When I was young, I was a well-known swordsman. If you want to do something to my son, you have to think carefully about it."

The tall and thin detective looked at his companion and made up his mind:

"Okay, sorry to bother you, we're leaving now."

After saying that, taking advantage of the moment when everyone was relaxed, the two of them each took out a pistol with a slightly longer barrel from their arms. With two dull sounds, two bullets flew towards the two adult men in the room.

.

The most responsive person in this room was Ha La.

The moment she saw the pistol, the girl's expression became a little ferocious. She gritted her teeth and rushed towards the tall and thin man who shot Hevin with tears in her eyes.

But before she took two steps, she hit an invisible wall, just like there was an invisible glass here. She hit it twice more, but failed to shake the invisible wall.

Only then did she notice that the necklace Hewen put on her was emitting light blue light and floating in mid-air.

The second fastest reaction was Hevin. He took out the pistol in his arms and fired faster than the opponent, knocking down the muscular man's pistol.

The third quickest reaction was Ogden. He rushed towards the muscular detective with his sword blade, stabbed him in the body and pushed him out of the room.

The fourth fastest reaction was the tall, thin man, who accurately shot Hevin in the heart.
