15. Valkyrie
On the 17th, I don’t spend much time in the sun.
He was found by the White Lion Society when he was only the size of a palm.
His memories of that period were almost all from the perspective of a bystander. He could not understand the outside world and other people at that time. No matter how many experiments they did on him, everything was meaningless. The only thing he had was instinct.
.
The instinct to transform, and the hunger rooted deep in the soul.
The first time he truly felt emotions was when he saw the pink jelly-like brain tissue.
He felt hunger, he felt desire, he felt he wanted that thing.
So he opened his mouth and feasted, but the group of guys immediately stopped him. He only ate less than a quarter of the brain, and the fragmented memory fragments could not even be connected into a series. Only emotions continued to breed in his body.
The second emotion he noticed was anger, the third was unwillingness, the fourth was resentment, the fifth was fear, and the sixth was despair.
After he began to think like a human being, he first wanted to kill everyone who imprisoned him, and secondly, he longed for freedom.
Although he didn't know what species he was, he knew very well that he was definitely more advanced than humans, and having obtained part of the memory of a certain member, he initially felt that it was entirely possible for him to escape from there.
But he was wrong, very wrong.
All disguises and schemes are like a joke, they know themselves better than he does, and all efforts are of no use.
It's like a bug seeing the moon and thinking that if it works hard enough, it can jump to it one day.
He accepted his fate and would be nothing more than an experiment for the rest of his life.
He has even given up thinking and spends every day like a stone. Even if the needle is inserted into the body and the blade cuts off the flesh, he completely turns a blind eye.
Until he saw the light.
That is his god.
Clouds and mist surged in, thunder and lightning flashed. The Valkyrie wore a silver helmet and a blood-red robe, with the feathers of a divine bird on her head. She rode a white horse that brought frost and morning dew, and held a sword made of light in her hand.
Spears and bucklers easily tore apart the entire lodge.
She didn't even glance at No. 17, and didn't care about the little creature that had been freed by herself. She went straight to cell No. 1 and released the monster that even those guys didn't dare to wake up.
No. 1 was furious because he was woken up. Sometimes he turned into a giant dragon and trampled the ground. Sometimes he turned into an elf and summoned strong winds. Sometimes he was like a demon and summoned magma.
However, it failed to stop the Valkyrie for a moment, and her head was pierced by the light spear in her hand, becoming another trophy for her.
No. 17 got what he wanted most, freedom.
And now he has a new goal, to see his goddess again.
No. 17, who escaped from prison, no longer had to suppress his desires, and soon disembowelled a giant bear to enjoy the delicacies unique to their clan.
He could remember his mother's first mouthful of milk, the first time he fished, the first time he avoided a hunter, the first time he fought another bear, the first time he mated.
He was that bear, and his happiness almost overwhelmed No. 17, but it was not enough. The smell of a bear was far inferior to that of another creature, the creature that had imprisoned him for decades.
Humanity.
However, whether it was lucky or unfortunate for him, the first human he ate was so special.
See Rebecca's smile for the first time, hold hands with her, kiss her gently, say goodbye to her lover, hold the sword, kill the first person, fall into withdrawal, slowly understand the weight of life, return home
, eloped, made love, saw the smiles of children, gradually understood responsibilities, quarreled, reconciled, and learned the meaning of love.
At this moment, he is Ogden, and he has inherited everything about Ogden, all the love and hate, as well as Ogden's strong willpower.
It was also the first time that he thought of stopping. As long as he stopped eating other people's brains, maybe he could always be Ogden and live happily like an ordinary person.
But they came again, like a resentful spirit that lingered. He did kill many of their people, but he didn't have time to eat their brains.
It was a lucky thing that he could live alone as Ogden and forget that he was a monster.
It was unfortunate, he didn't know how they found him.
Fortunately, he still has a way. He knows that there are some places that even the White Lion Club is unwilling to set foot in, and that is the capital of this kingdom, Wharton.
But he must set out immediately. He killed Peter. Nathan must now think that Hevin did it, so he will not come to them. Even if he comes, Ogden will be confident to kill him.
But Hevin was different. He didn't know if Hevin knew his identity, but staying in front of him for one more second would increase the risk of exposure.
He just wants to live a happy and peaceful life, like a human being. Isn't this even possible?
Ogden said:
"What are you talking about? Are you crazy?"
Nelly looked at Ha La:
"Has Hewen given you something that will make others fall in love with you and prevent them from thinking about attacking you?"
Ha La paused, then nodded.
"So the father who can ignore the mysterious items, are you really our original father?"
Rebecca said in disbelief:
"Ogden, is she telling the truth?"
No. 17 was silent.
Rebecca gritted her teeth and shouted:
"Say it?"
Ogden first smiled at Nelly:
"If you weren't so smart, we would probably live happily in Wharton for the rest of our lives. My love for you is true, and what I just said comes from the bottom of my heart. But I am indeed not your original father, but
After all, being so smart is my Nelly."
Ogden looked at his wife lovingly and replied:
"There is no difference between me and your original husband. My love for you, my love for my children, and every minute I spend with you is engraved in my brain. Every hardship you have experienced together is engraved in my mind."
I feel the same way, I am him!"
Rebecca bit her lip.
Ogden continued:
"If you are willing, I know a friend who can modify his memory, and we can live happily as a family. If you are not willing..."
Ogden closed his eyes and took a deep breath:
"I will turn around and leave. It is impossible for me to harm any of my family members, but in my future, I may degenerate and want to kill you all again. You must escape to a place that I cannot possibly find or think of."
Rebecca asked:
"Where is my old husband?"
Ogden looked pained. This was the last outcome he expected:
"He is dead. I killed him and ate his brain, but I can atone for his sins on his behalf..."
Jimmy fell to the ground, his eyes were blank, and he kept mumbling something.
Rebecca said:
"Shut up and prove it to me. Since you love me as much as he does, then prove your love for me."
Rebecca broke the glass cabinet containing the ax with her hands. The glass shards seeped into her white and tender skin, and blood covered half of her palm. The woman gently lifted the axe.
The ax also seemed to be alive, emitting an evil and strange red light, as if it was excited to take away life again.
"Prove it to me. If you are almost the same as him, then if I kill you to avenge him, you won't fight back, right?"
