Chapter Seventeen if you believe it or not
The above article says that Dapeng got a method of running true qi at Shen Shiming. Some ancient texts written in the first half were too young to understand. However, in the second half, there were some simplified Chinese characters. Dapeng translated them, and this method was quite effective.
This exercise has the effect of strengthening the kidney and nourishing the brain. After the Du meridian is penetrated, the true qi runs in the Ren and Du meridians (small circumference), and the Baihui point of the head and neck and the Dantian produce magnetic force that attracts each other. In this way, the Yin and Yang in the kidney can reach the Marrow Sea and return the essence to nourish the brain. The essence of the five internal organs will return to the Dantian to supplement the kidney essence. The two complement each other and complement each other, causing the human body to return from decline.
From a physiological point of view, after the Du meridian is connected, it can stimulate each other's energy, nourish each other, and be full of vitality. As early as the "Jade Pendant of Xingqi" in the early Warring States Period, there were records of true qi movement, which was pointed out in the following:
"Practice Qi - deep, accumulate, expand, stretch, stretch, down, calm down, firm, solid, firm, grow, grow, grow, retreat, retreat, retreat, heaven, the sky is pounded on the top, the earth is pounded on the bottom, the smoothness is pounded on the top, the smoothness is pounded on the top, the wind is pounded on the top, the wind is pounded on the top, the wind is steadily, the life is dying on the side," the perineum, the tailbone, the life gate is rushing backward, the Jiaji is upward, and the jade pillow reaches the mind, and then goes down to the Dantian, which is called the small Zhoutian. Here is the introduction to the practice method:
Step 1: Exhale and pay attention to the heart
Method: Take a stand, sit, siding, close your lips slightly, lick your palate, and close your eyes slightly to eliminate distracting thoughts. First, pay attention to the tip of your nose for a moment, then close your eyes and look inside the heart, use your ears to listen carefully to your exhalation, so that it will not make rough sounds, and while exhaling, your mind will tend toward the heart as you exhaled. After a long time, the true qi will be concentrated in the heart. If you are still confused, you can use the "counting method". That is, exhale and count one silently, then exhale and count two silently, count until the number of ten, and then repeat from one to another until the distracting thoughts no longer arise, you can give up the counting method. After entering a quiet state, when exhaling, the true qi must be
Enter the dantian and do not disturb the cry. Time: once every morning, noon and evening, 3 times a day, each time for 20 minutes. Generally, you can complete the first step of the merit in 10 days.
Reaction: After practicing the exercises for 3-5 days, you will feel heavy in the heart; for 5-10 days, you will feel a heat flow injected into the heart every time you exhale, which is a manifestation of the concentration of true qi.
Effect: In the first few days, due to unaccustomedness, you will feel dizzy, soreness in the waist and back, and unnatural breathing. This is a natural phenomenon. Don’t have any worries, just keep exercising and will become natural.
Step 2: The mind and breath follow the Dantian
Method: When you practice the first step of your exercise until you feel the heat in your heart, you can follow your mind and breath. When exhaling, you should extend the process of sinking and slowly advance to your lower abdomen (dantian). Do not act too quickly. If you exert too much force, you may feel uncomfortable. Time: According to the law, 3 times a day, 25-35 minutes each time, and the qi will sink to your dantian in 10 days.
Reaction: Every time I shout, I feel a heat flow into the dantian, and the lower abdomen sometimes makes a sound, intestinal peristalsis increases, and the phenomenon of arrow qi increases. This is a manifestation of the true qi flowing to the lower abdomen, the intestinal function changes, and the evil qi is expelled.
Effect: Since the true qi has passed through the stomach area, the function of the spleen and stomach has improved. After the true qi sinks into the dantian, the surrounding organs (such as large and large intestines, bladder, kidneys, etc.) gradually undergo physiological changes, and generally, they feel that appetite increases, abnormal urination and defecation are improved, etc.
Step 3: Regulate your breathing and concentrate your mind to guard the Dantian
Method: When the second step of the exercise reaches the Dantian, you can stop breathing intentionally or unintentionally in the Dantian. Do not pay too much attention to exhale downwards, so as not to cause too much heat and consume yin fluid. You can let breathe naturally and only keep your mind in the Dantian area.
Time: 3 times a day, each time increases to more than half an hour. This period is in the stage of cultivating strength in the Dantian, which takes a long time. You can feel that your lower abdomen is full and powerful in about 40 days.
Reaction: Based on the second step of Qi sinking into the Dantian, the lower abdomen is obviously heated, and a qi flow forms in the lower abdomen after more than ten days. As the kung fu deepens, the qi flow becomes larger and larger, and the strength of the lower abdomen is full. After the strength is accumulated, you can move downstream. At this moment, practitioners sometimes feel itchy in the Yin area, beating perineum, and fever in the waist. Sooner or later, the above feelings may vary from person to person.
Effect: Because the Ren meridian is unobstructed, the heart and kidneys intersect, and the middle qi is strong, the mind is peaceful and the sleep is quiet. Through practice, the heat energy is continuously increased to the stomach and intestines, the digestive ability of the spleen and stomach is enhanced, the weight is increased, the spirit is abundant, the vital energy is sufficient, and the kidney function is enhanced, which has a certain effect on impotence and has a certain effect on women's irregular menstruation.
Step 4: Don’t forget to help
Method: After the mind is focused on the Dantian for 40 days, the true qi is enriched to a certain level and has sufficient strength, that is, along the spine. When moving upward, consciousness should be accompanied by the true qi (don't forget). If the true qi stops at a certain place, do not use consciousness to guide it upward (do not help). The speed of this upward speed is determined by the power of the Dantian. If the strength is not enough, it will stop and remain unmoved. After the Dantian power is enriched, it will naturally continue to move upward. If you are eager to pass the level and try your best to guide it, it will be out of touch with the Dantian power, which is very harmful. Therefore, you must let it be natural. The activity of the true qi is
It is not subject to human will. If you go up to the Jade Pillow Pass, you can pass the inner head and neck.
Time: The number of sitting times can be increased as appropriate every day, and each time should be extended to 40 minutes or about an hour. As for the time of passing the level, it varies from person to person. Some people pass in an instant, so the power of passing through is very strong and the vibration is also very large. Some people need to pass for hours or days. Most of them are about a week.
Reaction: On the basis of the third step, practitioners realize that the dantian is full, the lower abdomen is full, the perineum is beating, the back waist is hot, and the true qi at the life gate is active (i.e. "Kidney-interactive Qi") has a force that goes upward along the spine. Before the Du meridian is opened, the back often feels upward, and the head is tightened. This is a phenomenon that must occur before Tong Du. Some people often feel afraid when they encounter this situation and dare not practice again. All previous efforts are wasted, which is a pity. At this stage, you must persist in practicing. Once the Du meridian passes, you will naturally be relaxed and happy. Tong Du is a leap, so it is called "accumulating energy to the sky".
Effect: After the Du meridian is unblocked, the true qi enters the dantian, the true qi enters the mind, and the Ren and Du cycles form. Only then can you realize the true meaning of "breathing the essence and guarding the spirit independently". The essence and energy continuously nourish the brain marrow, and the function of the cerebral cortex is enhanced. All symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia and forgetfulness caused by kidney essence loss will gradually disappear.
Step 5: The soul accumulates strength and nourishes vitality
Method: Generally, you still focus on the Dantian. After the Du Tu, all meridians are opened one after another. For example, the movement power appears at the Baihui point of the head and neck, you can focus on the head and neck. Flexible mastery. The so-called "when you have desires to observe the orifices, but without desires to observe the wonders" is the method of handling different stages of practice.
Time: 3 times a day, each time is more than an hour. The longer the time, the better the effect. It takes about a month, and various touching phenomena can gradually disappear, and only the power of the dantian and the upper dantian will appear more concentrated and vigorous.
Reaction: During the past few dozen days before and after the Du meridian is opened, the whole body often seems to be circulating, the skin is itchy and crawling, etc. These are all manifestations of the unobstructed meridians and the strong true qi. In this case, do not pursue it deliberately, nor panic. If you sit down with peace of mind, you will naturally calm down. When you sit until extremely quiet, the above phenomena disappear, and the breath is slightly, as if it is present or not, and the internal true qi will be more concentrated and vigorous.
Effect: The more the true qi is, the more sufficient the body's metabolic function will be compensated and enhanced, thus making people more energetic and anti-disease immunity will be enhanced, greatly reducing and eliminating pathogenic factors, curing chronic diseases, and persisting in exercise can lead to physical and mental health and prolonging life.
The above five steps of kung fu are gradually progressing. During the entire operation of true qi, the body will have three different changes. The first, second and third steps are to adjust breathing to promote true qi. The true qi in the body is concentrated in the dantian. This stage is called "practice of essence and transform into qi", which is the first stage; the fourth step is to use the true qi accumulated in the dantian to rush through the Du meridian and reach the mind. This section is called "practice of qi and transform into spirit", which is the second stage; after the fifth step, the kung fu is more proficient, and the meridians are unobstructed and the true qi is running freely. This is an advanced stage, called "practice of spirit and return to emptiness". Only by mastering the five steps and three stages of the operation of true qi can the effect be significant.
Seeing these introductions, Dapeng felt as if he had cleared the clouds and saw the sun. He felt suddenly enlightened. Dapeng couldn't wait to practice, but it was still early, so it was not too late to wait until night to practice. Dapeng carefully hid this method of running true qi in his wooden box, then walked out of the door of the hut with his chest raised and raised his head.
