Chapter 37 Oolong

Jack sat in a chair doing nothing, watching the FBI people busy.

In the office area, phone calls were ringing one after another, being answered and hung up. Information was collected one by one, screened, verified, and finally labeled as valid or invalid.

Some things that are difficult to verify require agents to make a trip in person.

Suddenly, a few snaps of fingers attracted everyone's attention.

Everyone looked up and it was Anthony.

He was answering the phone when he saw everyone looking over and signaled to wait. After a moment, he hung up the phone: "There was news from the 13th Precinct. According to a thief they caught, there was a man named Ken near the San Fernando Valley.

He once threatened to make the railway system look good, and the thief said that he had seen something that looked like explosives at Ken's house."

As soon as Anthony finished speaking, the support department had checked all Ken Butler's information. Eddie looked at the screen and read:

"Ken Butler retired from the U.S. Army three years ago. His residence is located at 13 Barrack Street in the San Fernando Valley. He is currently divorced and living alone with no children. Criminal records show that he was warned by the police in March last year for concealing weapons.

."

"JJ, go apply for an arrest warrant."

Silver has decided to arrest this "Ken", but this time he is going to the other party's home to arrest someone, and he must have an arrest warrant. If it is on the street, nothing is needed at all, just arrest the person.

.

The application for the arrest warrant did not go smoothly because the evidence was not sufficient, but because of the bad impact of the Starlight train bombing, the judge finally issued it.

……

San Fernando Valley

Two Saber cars stopped slowly not far from a house, and those in the car were a group of people from the Violent Crime Investigation Division.

In the car, Silver was making final confirmations: "Eddie, have you confirmed it?"

"Confirmed, the suspect is at home. Ten minutes ago, I pretended to be a loan officer from the bank and called Ken Butler's home phone. The person who answered the phone was Butler himself, and he told me to get out."

Eddie's reply came from the headset.

"Okay, get ready to take action."

Silver gave an order, and the people in the two cars got out of the car. Anthony and Sanders opened the trunk, took out body armor and weapons one by one and threw them to their companions.

Ken Butler is a suspect in the bombing, has a military service background, and may have weapons hidden in his home, so they have no reason to ignore him.

Several people from the FBI changed their clothes and checked weapons, but no one paid attention to Jack. Jack could only say: "What about me?"

"You?"

Silver glanced at Jack. He originally didn't want Jack to participate, but considering the background of the opponent's Ma Runqiang Reconnaissance Company's retirement, he finally said to Sanders: "Get him a body armor."

"But boy, you must follow us and obey our instructions."

Silver's tone was strong, and Jack understood.

After finishing dressing up, Silver made a gesture, and several FBI personnel formed a battle formation and approached the door along the side of the house.

Ken Butler's house is located in the old city. The house has two floors and is very dilapidated. Several people have investigated it before and found that the house has only one entrance.

Jack was hanging at the end without any weapons. In fact, it was impossible for the FBI to allocate weapons to him. As mentioned before, the CIA did not have law enforcement power in domestic operations.

Several people from the Investigation Department quickly approached and lurked on both sides of the door.

After waiting for a few seconds, there was no movement in the room. Silver signaled to break the door, and he was second in line. Spike, who acted as the door breaker, took two steps forward, and the hammer in his hand was about to hit the door lock.

Just when he was about to make a move, Jack suddenly stopped him with a gesture.

Everyone looked at Jack, wondering what this guy was going to do.

Jack gestured to wait a moment, because he had just observed the house with his inner eye, and there was no one on the first floor. There was only a middle-aged man taking a shower on the second floor, and that man was the Ken Butler he had seen in the information.<

/p>

Ken Butler was taking a shower, so forcing the door open would alert the enemy, so Jack decided to change his approach.

He signaled everyone to wait, then walked up to JJ and pulled out a hairpin from her head while she looked at her with doubts.

Seeing this, everyone already understood what Jack was going to do, and Silver was a little annoyed. This guy had promised well just now and would obey orders, but why did he do something in the blink of an eye?

He really dislikes the CIA's undisciplined style of doing things.

But now is not the time to argue. Just as Silver was about to stop him, Jack had already fiddled with the hairpin and unlocked the door.

After a "click", everyone in the FBI had no choice but to make mistakes. Jack stepped back and a group of people filed in.

As soon as I entered the house, there was a faint sound of water coming from the second floor. I knew without guessing that the suspect was in the bathroom on the second floor.

Everyone looked at Jack strangely.

Silver made a gesture, and Jack and Spike searched the first floor, while he and the others quietly walked towards the second floor.

The house is very old, and the wooden floor will make a slight "creep" sound every time a few people take a step. The people on the stairs try to control their strength and approach step by step, with the muzzle of the gun always pointed at the bathroom.

The sound of water in the bathroom is still the same, and the sound of the wooden floor will be perfectly covered by the sound of water. The suspect inside has no trace and is even humming.

In the shower room, Ken Butler washed away the last foam on his body, turned the handle, and the sound of water suddenly stopped. He took the bath towel and wiped the water stains on his face and hair. As soon as he opened the shower curtain, he saw

Four Glocks and a warrant were pointed at him.

The next second, the naked Ken Butler was pushed to the ground heavily amid protests, his hands were tied up with the binding rope from behind, and then he was dragged down to the corridor outside.

"Where's the bomb?"

"What...what bomb?"

Seeing that Butler was still pretending to be stupid, Silver waved his hand and his men spread out to search everywhere.

Butler was thrown to the ground by a big thorn. Jack glanced at his feet and felt that it was a bit eye-catching, so he kindly covered his private parts with a bath towel.

After a while, the table in the living room was filled with all kinds of weapons found. Pistols, shotguns, rifles, various types of bullets, detonators and explosives.

This guy must have broken the law. Several AR rifles have been modified into automatic versions. The Gun Control Act stipulates that civilian weapons can only be semi-automatic weapons, and only single shots or three bursts are allowed. Not to mention that this guy is illegally concealed.

There are explosives.

"Notify ATF and the Police Department."

Silver's face was not very good. Ken Butler did have explosives in his possession, but the explosives were industrial explosives and the model was completely wrong. They had arrested the wrong person. Ken Butler had nothing to do with the train bombing.

"How was it?"

Eddie's interrogation came from the earphones.

"Wrong. This guy does have explosives, but it has nothing to do with the Starlight."

JJ informed Eddie of the situation here.

Just when everyone was a little discouraged, there was new news from Eddie: "Guys, I have another news here. The University of Southern California Hospital just called and they suspected that a patient who was visiting the hospital was a terrorist.
