Chapter 148 Painting Process and Discovery(1/2)

Murray asked her to hold flowers in her hands like a child, and the layers of tulle white skirts around her were pulled out and spread out, showing the layering of the space.

Natalia pulled away the two entangled thorns and placed some decorations of bluebells and purple flowers close to her side.

Lecia wanted to remind her that this didn't fit in with her scene.

The canvas next to it was like a wall. Murray in front of him didn't pay attention, he was just gesturing at the position that Lecia would occupy inside, and reserving space for the remaining scenery to be added.

Lorela took out another bottle of mixed essential oil and sprayed it around, filling the place with a hazy feeling, coupled with the hazy and soft sunlight shining in.

Lecia looked like a holy goddess covered in flames. The necklaces on her neck, wrists and ankles were shining brightly. She smiled and looked ahead at the visual center reference that was prepared there.

The two children also came out with their own canvases and started painting in the same way. Natalia sat next to them and looked in front of them happily, holding her chin in her hands.

After Murray laid the base layer of the outline, he put away the paints and brushes and told Lecia, who had been standing in front of him all afternoon, that it was okay for the day and that he was also very tired.

Although she could talk occasionally in the middle, Lecia still felt that she was suffocating, so she quickly put down the flowers in her hand and started moving.

She walked to the canvas and noticed that the colorful paints seemed to have the smell of essential oils, as well as some crystal powders.

Is this a special mineral pigment? Lecia was a little confused. It seemed to be mixed well and there were no obvious particles.

The huge canvas is only painted with a few layers of color on the right side of the center, and its outline can be slightly judged.

Ganqing painted for a long time and just made a base. It seems that I have something to stand on.

When I think of this, I feel exhausted and my head feels dizzy and tingling.

I don't like the beautiful and exquisite star necklace on my hand, so I hope I can go there as soon as possible.

"Then I'll take Lecia back to rest first. Thank you for your hard work, Murray."

"It's hard work for Lecia. Go back and rest quickly. You have to teach the children tomorrow morning."

"Teacher Lecia, see you tomorrow."

They said goodbye and walked home. Lecia cuddled up against Natalia to relieve her fatigue.

Germaine still drove by in his two-legged sheep carriage and gave Lecia and the others a hunted prey, which looked like a large bird.

"Ah!" Lecia saw North, who was chewing a piece of raw meat and with blood red mouth, passing by, and instantly woke up and hugged Natalia.

Wasn't he already beaten to a bloody pulp? Why was he fine now? She thought of what happened yesterday, and although her head hurt a little, she still recalled that scene.

North glanced at her a few times with his green eyes, smiled meaningfully, and continued walking to where he wanted to go.

‘Does he have anything to say to himself? The place he walked seemed to be the square yesterday, and the forbidden place behind it.

After looking back for a few times and confirming the direction, she continued to rely on Natalia to go home.

"Lecia, don't worry too much. Little has already taught him a lesson. Don't be too afraid. Some of our strange behaviors are normal. We must learn to accept and tolerate all things."

"I know, Natalia."

In the forest, the white-haired, rickety old man walked back to the forest farm separated by railings. The middle-aged man outside the wooden house saw him and quickly helped him back. He had a strong body and a calm and majestic temperament.

"Old man, be back for dinner soon."

"Go home, go home..."

"This is home, come back quickly." The middle-aged man sighed, and he and the old man walked into the house illuminated by the fire.

After eating, Lecia, who changed back into casual clothes, sneaked into the study room while the two were busy sewing clothes. She began to look through the books, trying to find some of her own books.

Except for some books about flowers and nature, I didn’t see what I wanted.

Or there is only the outer frame of the book for decoration, but there is no content inside.

When she found the bookshelf near the potted plant, she remembered that Natalia was obviously panicked when she saw her here. Could it be that she was hidden here?

What seemed to be in front of her were some human books on how to be a qualified household manager. Lecia only saw books with hard covers on the outside, and they were empty inside, as if the books had been taken away.

'It's strange. It's not here either. Where did it go?'

Lecia emptied the row of shelves, and there was a lot of dust in the air. She covered her mouth and couldn't help but cough a few times. She quickly used books to disperse the dust.

There was an empty frame in front of her and she could see the wall. She reached in and knocked, but there were no partitions or anything like that.

Then he rummaged around without giving up and took out all the books from the surrounding bookshelves. Most of them were insignificant philosophical classics and the history of Yansir Village.

She knelt down to check if there was any cabinet below. When she opened it, she saw a space with only a wooden smell, and sighed.

Could it be that Natalia was hiding? She took the cabinet and saw the overlapping shadows on it, and her body suddenly became weak.

"Natalia, come here, I still have some missing books, do you know where they are?"

Lecia stood up awkwardly and turned around, like a child who had done something wrong.

Natalia in the back had a serious expression, and her original brown pupils had turned dark as cold as steel.

She stretched out her left hand, spread it out and handed it to Lecia. Lecia fearfully spread her palm and put the back of her hand against hers.

"Look at what a mess this place is. It's because we pamper you too much."

The floor of the table behind was littered with books of all sizes, piled up in random piles, and the air was filled with a lot of dust visible to the naked eye.

Bang! A violent sound broke the quiet space. Lecia felt the heartbreaking pain in her palms. She almost couldn't help but squat down, her expression became distorted, and tears were already appearing in the corners of her eyes.

Natalia's dark, cold eyes showed no fluctuation, her left hand firmly grasped Lecia's right hand that she wanted to take back, and she slapped her hard again.

Ah! Lecia's hands trembled, and a tear appeared in the corner of her eye.

She didn't know why her sister was so angry, she just looked for her book.

Those cold, dark, steel eyes gave her a very familiar feeling, as well as an innate fear.

"Look at what you have become. Have you forgotten all the etiquette and etiquette you have been stressing?"

Natalia pulled Lecia in front of the mirror. Her red hair was stained with dust, and her bright and heroic face looked like a tabby cat.

Snap! Snap!

"Would I not give it to you? Would I hide it from you? Am I not treating you well?...

Natalia became more and more excited as she spoke, but Lecia held back her words and did not dare to speak. Dermot, who heard the sound, came in and quickly stopped them and separated them.

Lecia cried aggrievedly in Dermot's arms. She didn't understand why this was happening.

Natalia rubbed her palms, her dark eyes gradually turned back to brown, she glanced at the crying Lecia in front of her with a complicated mood, and then left.

"Stop crying, let's go take a bath. You have grown up and you have to learn to obey it consciously."

Dermot hugged Lecia and left. He picked up the red and swollen palm and blew it a few times with regret.

After taking a shower, Lecia opened the window with her hair disheveled. The cool evening breeze blew over her face, and the pain from just now still remained on her hands.

Why did Natalia react so strongly? I didn’t say she hid my things.

Lecia had nowhere to express her grievances. She could only lean on the window and look at the starry sky outside and the ground scenery under the night.

"Lecia, bring me a bath towel, I forgot."

Dermot's voice sounded, and Lecia responded quickly, lowered her head and picked up the toiletries placed on the stool.

When she stood up and turned around, she saw three folded books reflected in the mirror, which looked very much like her own, placed under the table.

Excited, she quickly turned her head and looked over, but she didn't see anything there. She looked back again, and it was clearly there.

"Lecia, do you want me to go out directly?"

"Ah, here we come."

She hurriedly took the things in and took a look at them later. It seemed that Natalia was indeed right.

"Why is Natalia like this? You are usually very good. Are you too naughty? For example, you caused trouble again this afternoon? Really, you can get married now, but you can't do this again."

Dermot wiped his body carefully with a bath towel, put on his nightgown, hugged Lecia and returned to the bed to sit down and talk. She looked at her still red and swollen palms and continued to blow air.

"I didn't, and I don't know either."

"I'll just apologize properly then. Sure enough, this family can't survive without me."

"I see."

Lecia huddled in Dermot's arms and stared at the empty tabletop. Unfortunately, she couldn't see the reflection of the mirror from this position.

She found an excuse and came to the mirror table and pretended to be looking for it. The book reflected in it was on the desk next to it, but why didn't she see it.

The reflections of myself and Dermot are both inside. Does it have its own space inside?

She touched it quickly with her hand and felt it was cold to the touch.

The sound of footsteps outside was heard, and she quickly retracted her hand, took a book and quickly jumped back behind Dermot on the bed.

The door opened and closed, and Natalia, also wearing a nightgown, appeared there with a distressed expression. She came to the bed and sat down, looking at Lesia who was hiding behind.

"I was impulsive just now, Lecia. Are you okay here?"

She picked up Lecia's right hand that was beaten behind her, and Lecia looked at it with half of her face showing some fear from Dermot's neck.

"Sister, I shouldn't have disobeyed you, and I also apologize to you."

A weak voice sounded, Natalia put her palm to her lips and kissed her, then crossed Dermot and hugged Lecia and kissed the corners of her eyes a few times.

"Me too, let's stay together as a family forever."
