Chapter 16 Classmates

Chu Ge did not reject the kindness of the class monitor and other classmates, and agreed with them that the venue would be at his home at nine o'clock tomorrow morning. There was no way he would go to the hospital to waste scarce medical resources just for the sake of acting.

It just so happens that at this time, my parents have to go to work and my sister has to go to school. Most of the time, my grandfather goes for a walk in a nearby park, plays chess and chats with old friends. He is the only one at home.

The next morning, the squad leader brought some classmates to his door. There were two girls and Chu Ge's three roommates. Although they were usually distant, the roommates came to see him.

Chu Ge opened the door and welcomed them in, actively greeting them: "Sit wherever you want, you're welcome."

"Wow, Chu Ge, your family is really big."

Zhao Xudong, the dormitory director, said with emotion, and the people around him nodded in agreement.

They had known for a long time that Chu Ge's family was well off, but they didn't expect that Chu Ge lived in a villa in Jiangcheng, but they couldn't understand why Chu Ge still wanted to live on campus. Anyway, his home wasn't very far from the school, so he could apply for housing outside the home.

.

"My grandpa bought it decades ago, when housing prices were relatively cheap, so don't really think of me as a rich young man."

Chu Ge smiled and said, how could he not see what was going on in these people's minds? It was almost written on their faces and he couldn't guess it.

The roommates couldn't help but be stunned when they saw Chu Ge's smiling face, wondering why Chu Ge felt more approachable than before, and the girls were still touring the house.

The first floor is the living room, dining room, kitchen and study room. The decoration is more Chinese-style. The living room is very sunny. There are paintings of beautiful scenery on the sofa wall. The shelves on one side are filled with classic masterpieces and antique porcelain.

"Young Master Chu, don't be ridiculous, I'm afraid the property management fees here are not cheap." Zhao Xudong winked and placed the condolences on the table.

Chu Ge didn't answer. He really didn't know the property management fees of the community, and he didn't even know how much the electricity bill his family paid every month.

Class monitor Guo Xiaomiao placed a bouquet of sunflowers on the coffee table and asked in a gentle tone: "Classmate Chu Ge, are your injuries okay?"

Chu Ge waved his hand and said with a smile: "They say he was stabbed, but it's not as serious as you think. The wound is very shallow, otherwise I wouldn't be able to be discharged from the hospital so quickly."

This was the rhetoric he prepared last night. Ordinary people would have to get stabbed hard, and if their internal organs were injured, they would not be able to leave the hospital and recuperate at home for ten or eight days.

Chu Ge even put a bandage on his chest to avoid revealing his secret. After all, the injury report given by the execution department was that he was stabbed in the chest.

"Thank you for your luck. You didn't meet such a vicious criminal. I see that you are recovering well now. Have fun at home recently."

Finding that Chu Ge didn't put on airs like before, the roommates gradually became familiar with him when talking.

"When are you going to go back to school?" one of the roommates asked.

"I took a week's leave, and there are four days left." Chu Ge replied.

Then Chu Ge straightened his back, pretended to cough twice to stir up the atmosphere, and continued: "Next time I go back to school, I may have to move out of the dormitory."

Chu Ge had originally planned this. He would definitely say hello to his roommates when he moved out of the dormitory. It was not his style to leave without saying goodbye. He himself did not like such impolite people, and it could easily cause misunderstandings among classmates.

Room director Zhao Xudong frowned and asked: "Why so suddenly?"

The classmates next to me also kept asking: "Yes, why are you suddenly moving out of the dormitory? Where are you moving to?"

"Chu Ge, if you want to move out of the dormitory, do you want to rent a house outside, or are you planning to live at home?"

"Is this related to you being stabbed?"

Chu Ge nodded and said: "It has something to do with it, but don't worry, I just don't live in the school anymore and I'm not transferring. We will still see each other often in the future."

This scene made it seem as if he would never return to school and these classmates would never see him again.

While everyone was chatting earlier, squad leader Guo Xiaomiao cut the apples in the kitchen, put them into plates and put them on the coffee table.

"Everyone, let's eat the apples. They're all cut into pieces, but unfortunately I can't find the toothpicks."

Chu Ge was stunned for a moment. He remembered that this was his home, and there was no reason to let guests entertain him. However, he didn't know if there were toothpicks at home, and he didn't know where to put them.

"Thank you."

But the squad leader acted so quickly, and everything had already happened. What else could he say? He could only say thank you.

The rest of the people also said in unison: "Thank you."

"I was shocked. I thought you were going to transfer to another school." Zhao Xudong scratched his head and said.

"You didn't hear it clearly. I just said that I wanted to move out of the dormitory. Since I was assassinated, my family didn't trust me and insisted that I live back home."

Chu Ge easily confused this topic, and the reason sounded very reasonable, and no one could find fault with it.

"It's no wonder. We were all shocked when we heard about this. It's normal for your parents to be worried about you."

The roommates accepted this explanation. To the classmates, Chu Ge was both impressive and the strangest student in the class.

When Chu Ge moved out of the dormitory, the roommates were not too sad about the separation. On the contrary, they had a little surprise. This meant that they could play games until early in the morning, play games and communicate loudly, and no longer had to worry about someone's strict schedule.

"The counselor was unable to come today because I had something to do. Please ask me to say hello to you." The monitor remembered the counselor's instructions.

"Yes, yes, the day after your accident, the school also asked the counselors of each class to hold a class meeting. The theme was how to ensure your personal safety when encountering a knife-wielding murderer outside." The roommate said a lot.

"I saw it in the group." Chu Ge rolled his eyes, "Some people said that I abandoned my ex-girlfriend and was stabbed so hard that I almost got hurt."

Hearing this, the classmates all laughed. Naturally, no one would believe these nonsense. If Chu Ge wanted to find a girlfriend, the school would have spread it long ago.

"Chu Ge, I feel like you have changed a lot now and are more enthusiastic than before." Monitor Guo Xiaomiao noticed the change in his personality.

Afterwards, the three roommates also nodded, and they had the best say on this matter, "It's much better than before, and they even joke with us, which really flatters us, haha."

The classmates began to chatter about Chu Ge's changes. Chu Ge said helplessly: "Maybe I experienced a life and death crisis and became enlightened. If I had companions by my side at that time, I wouldn't be targeted."

"Now you realize how important we are." One roommate laughed.

"If you survive a catastrophe, you will be blessed later." Another roommate said.

The apple chunks on the plate were quickly eaten by everyone. Seeing that they had disturbed a lot of time, the students reluctantly said goodbye to Chu Ge and left.

After they left, Chu Ge wanted to take the plate to the kitchen for cleaning, and suddenly found a folded note hidden under the plate, which read:

"Hello, Chu Ge, I'm glad to see you're not dead yet. We had a great chat today. Let's catch up on old times next time we meet."
