Chapter 1: Ghostly Wind

At seven o'clock, my aunt took me to a two-story building with a flashlight. She handed me the key and flashlight, and left in a hurry. I looked at the building in front of me, and I could only vaguely see the shadow in the darkness.

Two-story building, a sneer in my heart.

What kind of relatives, why do they want me to live here? Looking at this house, my aunt said that it had been cleaned during the day. I am watching here, and it is still the same thing whether there is electricity in this building.

Grandpa passed away. Before he left, the old man made it clear that I also had a share of the family property. My parents passed away in a car accident when I was in the first grade of junior high school. From then until now, for eleven years, I have been studying outside.

, I just live outside. Now that grandpa is gone and there are my things by name, of course I have to come back and get them.

But my aunt brought me to this house and said it was mine. It was nice to say that it was a two-story building. But this building was too shabby.

I used the key to open the courtyard door, and there was a small courtyard of more than ten square meters with nothing inside. I used a flashlight to shine around, walked to the gate, and looked at the light switch that pulled the wire, and I felt distressed. This house is too big.

It's old. I just graduated from college and have no money to decorate it.

I stretched out my hand and pulled down the light cord. There was a "click" sound and the light in front of the door flashed and went out. The light cord was broken.

I looked at the light cord in my hand, and several black lines appeared on my forehead. Well, at least the flash showed that there was electricity in the house. Maybe the light cord was broken because it was in disrepair and weathered.

I steadily pushed open the door inside, and a cold and cold breath came to my face. I used the light of the flashlight to look inside. It was really old inside. They were all made of solid wood tables, chairs and benches, typical of the 60s and 70s.

The feeling of the era. "Huh" I seemed to hear a gasping sound in my ears, and along with the cold breath, it succeeded in giving me goosebumps in an instant.

Could this house be haunted? Has anyone died in such a spooky house? Is there a corpse hidden in that wall or under some big solid wood table?

I shook my head and put aside the picture that appeared in my mind. Huh, even if there is something, it is all the fault of my aunt and the others. When I came back today, I listened to their whispers outside the door. That cousin is a cosplayer,

What she said scared me to death, what the hell.

She thought our school didn’t have cosplay, so I didn’t know what props were? When I was having dinner at his house, my cousin was missing for three hours, which gave her enough time to do some tricks in the house.

I said to myself in my heart: "No matter what I see or hear, it is all my cousin's design. I will not be defeated by them. I will decide on this small building."

I used a flashlight to look for the light switch in the living room. Finally I saw a light cord on the wall. I moved over slowly. Although I knew there were no ghosts in this world, I also knew that my aunt and cousin didn’t want to give this small building to me.

I'm pretending to be a ghost here. But I still feel nervous and scared, my heart beats faster, my hands and feet are cold, and I break out in cold sweat.

When I moved there, I reached out and pulled out the light. The dim round electric light came on. But at the moment when the light came on, I had a feeling that there was someone behind me. Because at that moment, my eyes happened to be on the ground where I was.

The shadow. That shadow is definitely not mine alone.

"Illusion!" I whispered to myself. It was definitely an illusion. It was an illusion caused by the eyes not adapting to such light.

Now I carefully looked at my shadow on the ground and saw nothing unusual. I took a long breath and held the flashlight tightly in my hand that I still dared not turn off.

I have to be bold, there are no ghosts here! I cheered myself up and decided to change the current situation. I took a deep breath of the cold air here and said loudly: "I am the owner of this place! This house is mine! I can scare all monsters and monsters.

Not me! No props or conspiracy can harm me. This house is mine!"

When I finished saying these words, I heard a sneer coming from my ears before I even finished the last part.

I was startled by the solidity, and slowly looked back. Behind me, there was only the wind blowing in from outside the door, causing the light to sway slightly.

I breathed out secretly and said, "I'm just scaring myself."

According to my aunt, the room she cleaned is the last one on the second floor. I can't give up this house. I used to be able to live on campus when I was studying, but now I don't even have a place to live. I don't have that to rent a house outside.

You know, when my aunt was letting her own daughter play cosplay and burn money, I had to work as a tutor twice to support my living expenses. All the compensation from my parents’ car accident went into my uncle’s bank account, but they only

They helped me pay for my tuition fees and not even a penny for living expenses.

I took a flashlight and went up to the second floor without turning off the lights downstairs. The second floor also had the same kind of wired lights. When I opened the bedroom on the second floor, I was even more sure that there would be no ghosts in this house.

Because the bed is covered with clean and brand-new red sheets and quilts, which should have been prepared by my aunt. She has already come in to make the bed, can I still not sleep?

The light was dim, I looked at the crescent bed with bed curtains, and said: "I have decided. At dawn, I will go find an antique seller and sell all these bed cabinets and chairs." Even if these things are not antiques,

, it must have been something from decades ago, or even hundreds of years ago. After selling it, I would have the money to open a small shop of my own.

And what I want to do now is ____sleep! Only when you fall asleep will you not be afraid.

I put down my bag and got into the quilt without taking off my clothes. I also hid the flashlight in the quilt, ready to use it as a weapon if something unexpected happened.

But I also overlooked one thing, that is, it is August, which is the beginning of July in the lunar calendar. Even if it is cold at night, I don't need to cover myself with a quilt. But I don't feel hot at all even though I am covered with that thick quilt.

I closed my eyes and felt a cold breath like human breath hitting my neck.

I shrank my neck in fear and covered my head with the quilt. I would not give up this house, as long as it was dawn, I would be fine. I encouraged myself.

But my head was covered with the quilt, and I could still feel my breathing on my neck. It was as if someone was sleeping behind me, in this quilt, with his head on the back of my head, breathing.

Just jumped on my neck.

I thought to myself, this is definitely not a ghost, but my cousin is causing a ghost!

I held the flashlight in my hand tightly and chanted in my mind, 1, 2, 3. When I said 3, I turned around suddenly and the flashlight was thrown hard behind me.

That kind of flashlight was very heavy, and I smashed it with all my strength. But I didn’t hear the cry of pain from my cousin behind me, but I heard my own cry of pain. When the flashlight was empty, the flashlight just hit hard.

When I was on that bed, the shock made my arms numb.

After the numbness in my arms eased, I turned on the flashlight, and bright light shone on the inside of the bed. There was no one inside, and since these walls were placed against the wall, there was no possibility of wind blowing in.

.

My heart was beating faster, as if it had jumped into my throat. At this moment, for the first time, a thought came to my mind, that is, is this house really haunted?

I panicked. It's haunted, and I'll hold on until dawn even if it's haunted. Now that I'm huddled in bed, at least I feel safer than rushing out.

It only took me a second to wrap myself up completely in the quilt again, from head to toe, leaving not even a single gap. I didn’t turn off the flashlight, it just turned on, bright. The light shone on me.

I was a little dizzy, and I also felt a lack of oxygen under the quilt.

When I was so deprived of oxygen that I thought I would suffocate myself, I felt the cold breath on the back of my neck again.

I slowly turned my head, and in the light of the flashlight, I saw the face with his head bent and his lips on my neck. It should be said that I couldn't see his face at all, I could only see his raised

Eyes, like cat-like pupils.

This was the impression I had of that face for a moment, and it was also the only impression I had, because in a second, I fainted. It should be considered a fainting. Anyway, I don’t know what happened after that.
