30, weird(1/2)

The sky is dark gray and there is a steady drizzle.

During the evening rush hour, the traffic was jammed and horns were honking one after another.

The car was stuffy and quiet, except for the faint sound of the wiper.

Yi Yan was sitting in the passenger seat, and the raindrops on the window beside her gathered into thin water columns, twisting and turning.

Su An, the driver next door, didn't say anything after getting in the car.

The two of them remained eerily silent.

After passing a few more traffic lights, Yi Yan still took the initiative to ask: "Why are you here?"

Su An controlled the steering wheel and didn't answer out of habit.

He didn't say anything. Yi Yan had long been used to him being like this and didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

Su An paused for a moment and then spoke.

"Have a meal."

He forcibly corrected his habit of not speaking up.

As soon as he opened his mouth, Yi Yan was stunned for a moment, thinking that he would ignore such a meaningless topic like hers.

She turned her head and looked at him in surprise.

Su An did not turn around, his profile remained indifferent and calm.

For a long while she didn't know what to say back, so she could only say "Oh."

Then he turned his head and continued to look out the window, and the two of them were silent again.

Yi Yan couldn't explain how he felt towards Su An now. He couldn't distance himself or get closer to her.

The two of them were speechless during the trip, and the car stopped in front of a restaurant.

Yi Yan got out of the car and before Su An could park the car, she went into the store.

Su An, who was parking the car, raised his eyes, his gaze fell on her back through the windshield, and then he looked away silently.

Yi Yan took a seat by the window. Su An pushed the door open and sat down opposite her.

The waiter brought a pot of hot water, and Yi Yan was scalding the dishes with the hot water.

She put down the porcelain pot, and Su An removed the tableware and brought it over to water and rinse it.

Compared to the booths where the faint sounds of people could be heard around them, their table seemed particularly peaceful.

In this restaurant, you pay first, and the waiter comes and leaves, taking the order and leaving.

Outside the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, traffic and street lights form a river on the road.

Yi Yan turned his head and looked out the window and suddenly spoke.

"You don't have to be so dedicated," she finally turned back to look at him, "I don't mind."

Su An was replying to the message. The drug dealer showed signs of relenting and the team members were reporting to him.

Hearing this, he raised his eyes and looked at Yi Yan.

"I won't be the same as before," Yi Yan felt a little uncomfortable with him looking at him for some reason, and lowered his eyes, "I used to always want to tie you to my side, but now I can't."

Su An moved his knuckles slightly above the screen. He was about to say something, but after hearing her words, he remained silent.

If you get close to her, stay away. This is her law.

He looked away from her face, lowered his head and continued to reply to the message.

What struck Yi Yan was his deep eye contours and high bridge of nose, and his expression was very plain.

The restaurant's food service was not slow, and soon the waiter came over with a dining cart and put the dishes on it.

Yi Yan likes to eat meat. Of course the waiter doesn't know this. Several of Yi Yan's favorite dishes are placed next to Su An.

Yi Yan went to the bathroom midway, and when she came back, she found that the dishes had been changed to her side.

Yi Yan looked at Su An. He didn't move his chopsticks. He crossed his fingers in front of him and looked sideways out of the French window.

He seemed to be thinking about something, his face was a bit serious, and his eyebrows were slightly furrowed.

Yi Yan walked over and sat down across from him. Su An regained consciousness, calmed down his expression, and spread out his napkin.

He moved his chopsticks only after Yi Yan did so.

Yi Yan didn't know what Su An's obsession was. He had had this habit since high school. He wouldn't eat it if she didn't.

Her appetite was better today and she ate a lot.

Midway through, the phone next to Yi Yan vibrated.

Yi Yan stopped the chopsticks in his hand and took out his cell phone.

An unknown number.

Yi Yan answered the phone and put it to her ear: "Hello."

A male voice came from the other side: "Yi Yan."

Yi Yan was startled, the voice was very familiar.

"Can you hear who I am?" The voice over there was smiling.

Yi Yan: "Qian Yu?"

Opposite Su An's expression suddenly turned cold.

But Yi Yan didn't notice. Qian Yu said over there: "Yeah, I thought you forgot about me."

"How do you have my number?"

Qian Yu didn't tell her, he just said: "If you want it, you can get it naturally."

Yi Yan didn't ask any more questions and instead asked, "Do you have a problem with me?"

"You're really right," Qian Yu said, "Something's wrong."

There was wind noise coming from the receiver, and Qian Yu's voice came over: "The car broke down near your house."

Qian Yu on the other end seemed to turn around and look around, paused and then said: "There are no rest shops recently, and it will be a while before the tow truck comes. Can you take me in? It's raining and cold outside."

After hearing what he said, Yi Yan said, "Then you can go out in the rain."

Qian Yu: "So cruel? At least we met each other. We agreed last time that we can still be friends."

"I'm outside."

"Can you come back?" Qian Yu asked.

Yi Yan raised his eyes and looked at Su An across from him.

Su An looked like he was eating as usual, looking dignified and indifferent, as if what happened around him had nothing to do with him.

Even though he had no expectations, Yi Yan still felt sad when he saw Su An's indifferent attitude.

Within a second, she looked away.

"Can."

After that, he hung up the phone.

Yi Yan had almost finished eating and put down his chopsticks.

"I'm full. I'll go back first and you eat slowly."

Su An also put down his chopsticks, prepared to stand up, and pressed the corners of his mouth with a piece of paper.

"Send you back."

Yi Yan had already stood up first: "No, I'll go back by myself." He said and walked out.

Passing by Su An, Su An stretched out his long hand and held her arm.

Then Su An stood up and pulled her out of the restaurant.

Yi Yan couldn't resist at all. He couldn't resist him, so he pulled him out of the restaurant.

When they came to the parking space and Su An opened the car door and prepared to put her into the passenger seat, Yi Yan couldn't help but throw her hands away.

But he still didn't get rid of Su An's shackles.

"You forced me to get married, and I agreed," Yi Yan frowned slightly, "but can you stop forcing me to do other things?"

She doesn't want this kind of marriage that exists in name only.

No matter how nice he is to her, without the basic love between lovers, it becomes a burden.

Su An's hand froze, but he did not let go.

"You don't have to come to me during this period," Yi Yan said. "Even if we got the certificate, I didn't ask you to do anything to me in the first place."

The relationship between the two is now in a cooling stage. Su An is doing his job so diligently, as if he has no joy, anger, sorrow, or joy, which Yi Yan will not accept.

"No." Su An still tightened her arm and did not let go.

He looked at her: "I'm not responsible for doing these things to you, it's just something I want to do."

With only a dozen words, Yi Yan was instantly attracted to him.

Although her expression remained calm, she was scolding herself a hundred times for not living up to expectations.

She didn't reply, and there was silence between the two for a few seconds.
