Chapter 5: Quartz Clock on the Wall

Tokyo time on March 24, 2045, Shibuya Station at 8:35:

Japanese police conducted another in-depth investigation into the death of a girl at Shibuya Station. At Exit A of Shibuya Main Station, there was a blocked place with white chalk on the blocked place, where the deceased once lie down.

"Did you say that the deceased were found at this location?"

The police found the cleaner who found the body last time. Strangely, the cleaner was not as calm as last time. After seeing the deceased, she would dream of the blood-filled girl being drained from her body and died at exit A of the subway station every night. Why is this happening? Who can cause such a cruel and cruel move to a girl in her youth?

Recently, the police will keep in touch with the cleaner, and even the girl's parents will cooperate with the police's investigation based on her recent emotions. There are also her ex-boyfriend Natsukawa Kwang-kei and her good friend Nomura Sugi, who have been listed as highly concerned by the police.

Maeda Yukiko's home:

"Have the deceased had any reactions different from the usual ones recently?" The policeman came to Sakiko's house for cross-examination.

"Since she got that boyfriend, we have strongly opposed it because the distance between our family and him is too far away! But she just doesn't listen! Now it's OK! Something happened! Woo woo!"

Yukiko's mother cried in a low voice. A few days ago, she chatted with her daughter briefly on the phone. Unexpectedly, things would turn so quickly. She could not accept Yukiko's death and she cried all day long.

"You mean that Sakiko's so-called boyfriend has something to do with her death?" The policeman's expression became serious.

"Yes! She also called me on the phone the night of the accident. At that time, I heard her crying on the phone. At first, I didn't know what was going on. Later, after Nomura Sugi's question, I realized that it was her who broke up with the damn Natsukawa."

Yukiko's father was crying and talking without tears, his face looking dim.

"Oh! We understand! Okay, let's be here today. If you have anything to do, you can go find us immediately!" The police simply checked Yukiko's home and left.

Before leaving, Yukiko's parents stood stiffly outside the door, and for a long time there was no response, just like two zombies standing there...

Nomura Sugi’s home:

The knock on the door came in outside the white small house. Nomura Sugi felt a little strange. Who came to you at noon? Strangely, she was still having dinner. After she put down the tableware, she walked out and crossed the small courtyard, she was seeing two policemen standing outside the door.

"Is this Nomura Sugi's home?" The policeman took the initiative to say hello when he saw someone coming out.

"Yes! I made it clear last time! Why are you here still?" Nomura Sugi quickly opened the small silver-white iron door outside the yard and let the two policemen walk in.

"Oh, that's it! We have made new discoveries in Sakiko's case!"

The police had already walked into the house with Nomura Sugi. Nomura Sugi's parents went to work, so she was left alone at home. She kept a black cat with a weird shape. The cat often made the sad "meow" sound unscrupulously by the windowsill:

It's nothing to hear this sound during the day, but at night it's a little sharp.

The policeman entered the room and looked around, nodded before asking: "When was the last time you met Yukiko? Where?"

"In the canteen of Shibuya AKB48 Hope Conservatory! It should be supper at that time!" Nomura Sugi ignored the police, ate the sushi on the table, and then said this casually.

"Should? What does it mean? Are you unsure?"

"no!"

"What is that?"

"..." Nomura Sugi had some hesitation at this time for some reason, and she couldn't continue.

"Speak quickly!" The police stood up and stared at her with a serious attitude, his sharp eyes as if he was interrogating the suspect.

Nomura Sugimori looked at the quartz clock on the wall boredly and swallowed the last piece of sushi. Her expression was very relaxed. It took about 5 minutes to say slowly: "Sakiko and I often play the piano in the music study room, and it will take a daytime. Sometimes we don't know whether to have lunch or dinner."

"Then have you seen the time?"

"Yes! But I remember it!"

"Ah, right! This cat is quite cute!" The policeman squatted down and actually stroked the cat's hair. The cat's eyes were filled with a confusing light, which made the policeman unable to control it. He was almost obsessed with looking at the beautiful and cute kitten.

Nomura Sugi giggled, took away the cat's food, then changed some more and walked into the hall, and said, "It's Xiao Hei! I bought it for me a year ago on my father's birthday!"

"Your father!?"

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"Oh nothing!"

"Meow—!" (To be continued)
