Chapter 314 The good guy among the bad guys(1/2)

At Los Angeles International Airport, shortly after the flight from Atlanta landed, Lily dragged her suitcase to the terminal exit.

Although she was wearing ordinary jeans and a sports T-shirt, the young and beautiful brown-haired girl still attracted the attention of many people around her.

A handsome guy with a bag on his back immediately came over and said, "Hi, beauty, are you coming to Los Angeles for a trip?"

Lily glanced at him and ignored him.

The handsome guy put on his sunniest smile, "It's hard to hail a taxi in Los Angeles and the cost is high. Why not share a taxi together?"

Just five or six meters away, Thomas wanted to pass.

But Louise stretched out her hand to stop him, "Don't worry, check the situation, my bodyguard is over there, nothing will happen."

Thomas still took a few steps forward.

Facing the handsome guy, Lily also smiled, "No, my brother is an agent from the Los Angeles Police Department. He called me just now and will be here soon."

"Really?" The handsome guy automatically stepped back and said, "I'll find someone else to share a car with."

Lily's parents are not ordinary people. They have been well-informed since they were young, and they have enough awareness of the sinister nature of people's hearts.

She curled her lips and glanced at the leader on the Coca-Cola advertisement on the side of the terminal. She thought to herself that he was so ugly, so she had the nerve to come and strike up a conversation.

Thomas hurried over and said, "Hi, Lily."

When the crew of "Wanted" was filming in Atlanta, Lily met Thomas and said, "Thank you for coming to pick me up."

Then, she saw a woman walking behind Thomas. She looked about thirty years old, beautiful, sexy, and smart.

"Louise-Meyer."

"Lily Carter."

The two of them introduced themselves, and at Thomas's invitation, they got into a business car together.

Louise motioned to the driver to drive and asked, "Are you going to live in Martin's place first, or go to school?"

Lily tried to act mature and said, "Please send me to school."

The driver went directly to Valencia, a satellite city where CalArts is located.

Louise said, "Martin and I are good friends and partners. He was filming in London and couldn't come back, so he specifically entrusted me to pick you up."

"Thank you." Lily opened her backpack and took out a small gift box and handed it to Louise. "Thank you very much for your help. This is my own handicraft. Please don't dislike it..."

Lily doesn't know Louise, but Louise knows Lily somewhat, and she knows what's in the box without guessing.

But the other party expressed her gratitude sincerely, and she was a young, beautiful and lovely girl. Louise couldn't refuse, so she accepted it and said, "You're welcome."

Lily took out another one and handed it to Thomas, "This is for you."

"Thank you." Thomas then quietly opened the gift box and took a look while Lily put the other one on the passenger seat on the driver's side.

As expected, there is a hand-carved, very cute clown figure inside.

Thomas wanted to tell Lily that there was no need to give them to me. There were many similar things, including the crocodile pendant you didn’t give.

Louise opened it generously and sighed secretly, thinking that she would need to buy a special cabinet to store Lily Carter's hand-carvings.

Lily didn't know that her hand-sculpting skills were becoming popular in Hollywood, so she came to CalArts and gave one to Louise's assistant Nikki and Thomas's assistant Natasha each.

Natasha and Nikki looked at each other, why do these siblings like to give away sculptures?

Are the bison in Australia too miserable?

Louise accompanied Lily into the college, met with Vice President Diana and her future tutor, went through various admission procedures, and applied for a single apartment.

The journey went very smoothly without any trouble.

After putting the luggage into the apartment, Lily didn't forget Louise, who came over specifically to help, "I'll treat you to dinner later."

"No need." Louise took out a business card and handed it to Lily, "Martin is not in Los Angeles. If you need anything, you can call Thomas or me."

Lily took it. The address above was in Sherman Oaks. If I remember correctly, Martin also lived in Sherman Oaks.

Louise took the initiative to invite "You can come to my place as a guest if you have time."

"Thank you." Lily couldn't say it, but she had a feeling that this Louise was weird.

After seeing Louise off, she immediately called Martin and focused on Louise's situation.

Martin on the other side said, "If you have anything to do, you can come to her. If you have nothing to do, don't pay attention to her."

Lily said, "I have settled down. Louise and Thomas who sent me here, as well as their entourage, and the seniors and teachers who received them in the school, I gave each of them a small gift."

In the studio in London, Martin had a very bad feeling and asked, "What gift did you give me?"

"Carved horn." Lily said, "A clown figure based on you."

"Giving it to many people?" Martin asked.

Lily definitely "gave it to many people."

Martin slapped his forehead and said, "Okay, let's talk after I get back to Los Angeles."

After hanging up the phone, Bruce wanted to laugh, but held it back.

Martin looked at him and said, "Laugh if you want." He snorted coldly, "Sooner or later, Australian bison and crocodiles will become rare animals."

Bruce asked, "Will you continue to send them in the future?"

Martin was heartbroken, "I'm going to send it all over Hollywood!"

Bruce, the bad guy, deliberately said, "Everyone in Los Angeles will have one in the future?"

Martin asked, "How many did you bring this time?"

Before coming to London, Bruce specially handed over a large piece of luggage to the crew and checked it in together.

Bruce said, "It's enough to give one to each member of the crew."

Martin nodded, "The filming is almost over. Get ready, I want to give away a big gift."

The filming of "The Reader" has reached its final stage, and actors from the crew are leaving one after another. In addition to receiving souvenirs from the crew, each person who leaves will also receive additional gifts from the male and female protagonists Martin and Kate.

What Kate sent was English black tea.

What Martin gave was a fang pendant and horn carving.

Three days later, the crew completed filming of all scenes.

Sam Mendes announced the closure of filming.

Before Martin could react, Kate picked up a latte art and sprayed it all over his head and face.

Felicity Jones also took one and joined in the fun.

Martin ran away in panic, took the latte art that Old Boo threw, and sprayed it all over Kate's face with a bang.

Kate threw away the ruffles, rushed over and hugged Martin, clinging to him, looking particularly excited.

Martin hugged her back and said, "Kate, you are a real artist and your performance this time was great!"

Kate let go of Martin and held his face with her hands, "I can't do it without you. You are a good actor who can really inspire people. You are a genius."

They both laughed at the same time.

An associate producer from the crew entered the studio and presented souvenirs.

Martin and Kate were given two books that Michelle read to Hannah.

Although the crew will not be disbanded, most people will not participate in post-production.

Martin handed the book to Bruce, shook hands with everyone with gifts, and came to Sam Mendes.

Originally he wanted to shake hands with Sam.

But Sam took the initiative to hug him, patted him on the back, and said, "You did a great job in this movie. Come on, I'm optimistic about your future."

Martin nodded vigorously, "Sam, you are a true artist. In difficult times, you gave me key guidance and advice, which will benefit me throughout my life."

When it comes to professionalism, he is far behind the Kates.

There's really no comparison.

Martin then left the studio, and when he was taking off his makeup, Bruce suddenly got out of the trailer.

"No! Don't do anything. I'm here to find Martin."

Bruce escorted Saoirse Ronan in from outside. The latter raised her hands and said to Martin, "I heard someone said that your crew finished filming today and came here specifically to find you."

Martin had just changed his clothes and asked, "What do you want from me?"

Saoirse glanced at the makeup artist and said nothing.

Martin picked up the bag, thanked the makeup artist first, said a few words briefly, and got out of the makeup trailer first. Waiting for Saoirse to follow, he asked, "Don't you still want firecrackers?"

Saoirse giggled, "I still have some in stock." She was not without pride, "Hermione is as proud as a peacock. No one can look down on her. She has bullied me several times. This time she was very embarrassed."

Martin has read the report in The Sun. I don’t know if it’s a public relations strategy or if it’s true that Emma Watson went to see a psychiatrist.

But Saoirse cares a lot about "wish her depression soon."
