Chapter 3: Graduation package allocation may not be a good thing(1/2)

The roofs of the Army Province of the United Nations Republic were almost ripped off. The Consul Paratus in Guestu City just left after a big argument, and the chief consultant of Venetta in the United Nations came to the door angrily again.

The actions of the United Provincial Military were secret, rapid and efficient, without any warning.

When Venetta officials stationed in the United Provinces learned that all the Venetta trainees who were waiting to be awarded ranks in the military academy were missing, it was already three days after Winters and the others were taken away.

"[Veneta's swear words]! What are you going to do! What do you want to do!" Domenico Roye, chief adviser to the United Nations Province, slapped the table and cursed, and the spitting out of the military provincial external liaison department, William Barents, the head of the Army Provincial Foreign Liaison Department.

In terms of military rank, Barents is still one level higher than Roye, but now he is the Union Provincial People's Republic of China. Barents had to smile and appease Roye: "Don't be impatient, please listen to my explanation. I promise you that Lieutenant Colonel Roye, our Army Provincial People's Republic of China is really completely unaware of this matter..."

Roye punched the desk with a crack: "Do you dare to say you don't know? The big and small things in Guitu City are under the eyes of your Army Province. Do you dare to say you don't know?!"

"I really don't know!" Barents said sincerely, "The Military Command handled this matter with one hand, keeping the Army Province in the dark. There was no news of the news before, and we just learned about it."

The separation of military and political orders in the United Provinces Republic is a chronic disease that has existed since the beginning of independence. The Venetta soldiers had only one "palace", while the Union Provincial soldiers had "provincial and ministerial" known as "provincial and ministerial".

Other republics have clearly seen the hidden dangers of the Union Province and learned from it. In particular, Venetta, who is afraid of becoming the second in the Union Province, has used a large number of bills to severely restrict the power of military personnel.

But Barents's arguments could not deceive Domenico Roye.

"You fart!" Roye was even more furious: "You can't control the military command, but when will the military command be able to reach your army province?! When will the military academy be included in the military command system?! Do you dare to say that the military academy is not under the jurisdiction of your military and political system?!"

"Yes, the jurisdiction of the military academy belongs to the military and political system." Barents said helplessly: "But the jurisdiction of the Army Officer Academy is in the hands of the 'United Army Headquarters'!"

...

...

The carriage was driving on the stone-paved garrison road, with the wheels bumping and slightly bumping.

Winters was closing his eyes and pretending to sleep.

The marks on the wooden board meant that everyone had spent sixteen days in the carriage, during which time Warrant Officers Venetta could only eat hard bread and drink water that had already started to smell.

It was a miracle that the large wooden barrel filled with excrement was placed in the corner of the carriage.

But the wooden barrels inevitably emit a foul smell, which mixed with the smell of sweat in the ventilated carriage and could not dissipate for a long time.

The people of Venetta were already numb. They couldn't figure out whether it was the worse smell on themselves or the worse smell in the barrel.

If it weren't for the fact that the officers were generally stronger than ordinary people, this long and painful "journey" would be enough to bring most of them down.

Everyone was tortured to death. On the first day, the young people of Venetta were still cursing. From the sixth day, everyone was unable to even speak.

There were six people in the carriage where Winters was, and only Andrea Cellini had the energy to speak. Andre persistently tried to sharpen the edges of the iron spoon on the iron plate, and then cursed hoarsely after a few strokes.

When he was locked in the car, the soldiers of the Union Province searched everyone's weapons, but Andre stole a spoon on his body.

"Okay." Andre tried the sharp edge of the spoon with his fingers: "It's enough."

"Show me?" Winters opened his eyes.

"Here." Andre handed the spoon to Winters.

Winters tried it on his face and said with a smile: "You are so hard to shave, so don't think about other uses."

"Enough." Andre also chuckled: "They can't keep us shut... Humph, as soon as the car door is opened, I will go out and kill those mud guys!"

Another voice came from the darkness: "Okay, that sunglasses man left it for me, and he had to pull out his beard."

The people of Venetta didn't know the name of the beard, so they gave him the nickname "Goat Man" based on the characteristics of the beard. As they cursed, the nickname evolved into "Sunshine Goat Man".

Everyone was having fun in pain, and a low laughter rang out in the carriage.

However, the carriage suddenly stopped and the carriage suddenly became quiet.

Winters listened carefully, and it seemed that the horses were being replaced outside the car.

Since leaving, the carriage has been stopped day and night, and the horses and cars are changed along the way. The only possibility that this is the use of the station system.

If the station system is used, it means that this escort is not a reckless act by someone else, but has received at least a certain degree of official support.

Whenever I think of this, the people in the car became more and more worried.

This time, the horse was replaced for a long time, and the warrant officers only felt that the outside became quiet. They were locked in the carriage and did not know the time, so they could only observe the height of the sun through the iron window on the top of the carriage.

Then after a long time, the carriage did not set off again.

"Didn't you throw us in some wilderness?" Andrei was shocked and slapped the carriage hard: "Where are people? Let us out! Did you hear it! Let us out!"

The bearded face did not appear by the iron window, but Winters heard other voices: the familiar shouts of the students, also slapping the carriage.

The Venetta people in the other cars heard Andre's shout and responded in the same way.

Although they could not see each other, the warrant officers used this method to determine that there were four carriages. All twenty-seven warrant officers who returned to Guitu City from Venetta to attend the ceremony were there - even Bad, the Unionist.

But other than that, the warrant officers received no response.

The sun sets outside the iron window and rises again, leaving only Winters still pounding the carriage with a spoon.

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content later! When Winters, who had already begun to dehydrate, was about to give up, footsteps sounded outside the car.

The iron lock was smashed open and the car door was broken. The dazzling light made the dark warrant officers who had been used to subconsciously cover their eyes.

Winters, who couldn't see clearly for a moment, grabbed the arm of the person who came to rescue him and asked anxiously: "Where are we now?"

"Where?" The person asked was puzzled: "Where can it be? Of course it is in the Kings Castle."

[Note: Hetumoger, the capital of the Palathu Republic, was named after the legend that there were seven kings who swore here in ancient times.]

...

...

In a sense, when Winters was locked in the carriage, Marshal Ned Smith's last wish came true.

It was just an unexpected way and for a purpose that was completely contrary to Marshal Ned's original intention.

When Winters learned that he was in the Kings Castle, the news that the Venetta graduate was sent to the Republic of Paratu also came back to Hailan.

This move by the United Provincial Military is absurd, funny, inexplicable, and even... naive.

Why do they do this? This is a question that lies in the minds of all the military and political personnel of Veneta.

Why did they do this? This is the anger that surged into the hearts of all the Venetta people who learned about it.

But things have happened, and the problem must be solved first.

"This matter is really a bit complicated." Colonel Andro said in a silence: "It's not easy to solve."

The throne hall of the Venetta Army Headquarters was filled with smoke, and the war plan for Taniria a year ago was decided here.

A year later, senior executives of the Venetta Army gathered here again. But they were discussing the careers of a group of second lieutenants, which made the officers present feel a sense of black humor.

"What's so difficult about this?" Another officer in the conference room was puzzled: "They sent the person to Paratu, and we can just take the person back?"

Colonel Andro looked at the questioner and said impatiently: "They were not sent to Paratu, they were 'assigned' to Paratu. Do you understand? Distribution! Military registration has been passed by! The children who graduated this year are now formal officers affiliated with the Republic of Paratu!"

"Ah? Why are we assigned to the plateau?" The questioner was shocked.

Andro sighed and had to explain the reason carefully.

Why did the Army Officers Academy allocate the Venetta people to the plateau?

Procedurally, the Army Officers Academy really has the right to assign Venetta graduates to the Republic of Paratu.

Because the military origin of the Army Officer Academy students is not in the Republic, but in the Federation of Senas.

Take Winters as an example. When he was studying in the Army Young School and the Army Preparatory School, he was still an ordinary citizen. It was not until he was admitted to the Army Officer Academy that he began to have military status and became a real soldier with a military rank.

Therefore, although Winters was born in Veneta, his military residence was not in the Republic of Veneta during his studies in the Military Academy, but in the Army Officer Academy, and his files were also kept by the Military Academy Archives Office.

The Army Officer Academy is also affiliated with the Alliance Army Headquarters...

In other words, military academy students are not "soldiers of the republics", but "soldiers of the alliance".

Before the military academy students were assigned to the republics, the Union Army had absolute and complete personnel rights over them.

The problem arises in this "distribution".

"Where comes from, where to go." This is the rule that Marshal Ned has implemented for nearly thirty years since his founding of the school, and has never made any mistakes.

The Venetta students returned to Venetta, and the Union Provincial students stayed in the Union Provincial. Everyone was clearly distinguished and the well water did not interfere with the river.

But the problem is that Marshal Ned also retained the provision in the school seal that "when conditions permit, they should not be reasonably allocated based on the origin of graduates."

Ned Smith hoped to bridge the rifts among the republics with a good wish.

But what is "when conditions permit"? What is "reasonable allocation"?

No explanation.

There is no explanation... the person holding the school seal can explain as much as he wants.

That is, although this power has never been used, in fact, the Alliance Army Committee can assign military academy graduates as much as they want.

When Winters and others were "reasonably allocated" to the Republic of Paratu, they became army soldiers affiliated with Paratu in a legal sense.

"[swear words]! Isn't the Union Army Committee just a layer of skin worn by the Union Army?" After hearing Andro's explanation, General Venetta attended the meeting was dumbfounded: "Why...?"

All the generals and schools in the conference room were from the Army Officer Academy, but they had never heard of such tricks.

"Yes, the alliance organization is a puppet of the Union Province. But from a procedural perspective, the Alliance Army Committee has complete and absolute personnel distribution rights for military academies. That's it, we were put on by the Union Province." Colonel Andro was also quite depressed.

"Is the people of the United Provinces crazy? Why do you do such disgusting things? If we get more than 20 lieutenants to Paratu, we can't fight? Isn't this just disgusting people?" Colonel Born, who is in charge of the military police, was so angry.
