Chapter 46 Like falling into the ice cave(1/2)

Awakened from his deep sleep, he saw a humanoid creature crawling into his bedroom through the window.

The reason for human-shaped creatures is that the thing crawled in is that the whole body is dark and the posture is strange. In the moonlight, you can only vaguely distinguish the limbs and heads.

This humanoid object also found that the owner of the bedroom woke up and turned his head to look over.

Looking at each other, Winters lost all sleepiness in an instant.

He immediately jumped out of bed and grabbed the Dusak scimitar hanging from the closet door.

The time left for him to think is only a moment. No matter whether he is a person or a monster, he will get the weapon first.

Winters drew out his battle knife and rushed towards the humanoid creature. The opponent was forced to retreat to the corner of the wall. While retreating, he pulled out a short gun from his waist and pointed it at Winters' head.

It is not a medley gun, but a short gun with strange machine-covered rifle used by the assassins on the dock, a spring rifle gun in the mouth of the cripple.

Winters recognized the musket and stopped suddenly.

The humanoid creature was about to pull the trigger, but when Winters stopped, he let go of his finger and threatened with a low voice: "Don't move, don't make a sound, otherwise you will be killed."

As soon as he opened his mouth, the other party exposed his information: it was not a monster, but a human, and it was still a woman. Although the other party tried his best to lower his voice, he still could not hide the female voice.

"Don't... don't shoot. There are guards living downstairs, and you can't escape even if you shoot." Winters pretended to be panicked.

In fact, there was only Madam Marita living downstairs. In addition to four family members, there was only a resident servant brought by Cosci from her parents' home.

The nanny is almost fifty years old and has basically no combat power. Winters is just bluffing.

"You are dead when the guards come up." The woman wearing a black tights, covered with her face, and only her eyes were exposed, holding the roulette firmly with her hands, and the muzzle did not deviate from Winters' head for a moment: "Put down the weapon."

Winters found that the more critical the situation was, the clearer his thinking was. The other party spoke for the second time, revealing more information.

The presence of the guard did not make her feel inconsistent, which meant that she knew the military background of the family.

But she didn't know that there were no guards in Serbiati's house, which showed that her intelligence was not in-depth, and might just be aware of some content that could be obtained through public channels.

"Don't kill me, there's some money in the purse on the table, you can take it all." Winters obediently threw the Dusak knife to the ground.

He acted as weak and cooperative as possible, but he didn't stop thinking about counterattack in his mind for a moment.

He desperately recalled the structure of the gun: muskets usually have a short delay from catching the firing rod to igniting the gunpowder, and there is a short delay from igniting the gunpowder to the projectile being released.

Observe the opponent's movements, dodge horizontally in advance, and avoid the key parts. As long as the opponent shoots the ball, he will immediately subdue him with his strength advantage.

But unless it is absolutely necessary, Winters doesn't want to use this method, because it is too risky, it's best to find out what to do to divert the other person's attention first.

What can divert the other person's attention?

Flying arrow technique? The ten steel cones were all on the desk, beside the woman.

Is there any other way? Winters racked his brains to think.

"Can't you recognize who I am? Mr. Montagne." The woman in black spoke in a different tone, as if she was flirting. But the spiral in her hand was very steadily held.

Winters shook his head, realizing that the other party had figured out his name.

The woman in black said hatefully: "Half a month ago, you burned my hair with a torch."

"It's you?" Winters said in a lost voice. He never expected that the female thief would chase Hailan that night.

"It's me." The female thief said with a sneer.

Winters felt inexplicably strange: "You go to the military academy to steal things, I am responsible for patroling. It is my responsibility to stop you. There is no personal grudge between us, right?"

"Who did you say stealing? I took back my family's property from the thief!" The woman in black was obviously stinged by the word "steal" and became a little excited.

After blurting out this sentence, she realized her fault and pretended to be angry and covered up, "I haven't settled my feverish account with you yet."

"Then you light my hair once?" Winters spread his hands: "And you wanted to kill me at that time, but you didn't allow me to defend myself? You stabbed my arm, but it hasn't grown well until now."

"You all alliance soldiers deserve to die." The woman in black said hatefully. She found that she had been stolen by the other party, so she went straight to the point: "Give me my things back, I won't kill you, just do it."

"What." Winters felt cold, but he still lie without changing his face.

"Where is my dagger?"

"What dagger?" It's so hard that Winters had already given the dagger to Elizabeth, but he couldn't get his sister in it now.

Elizabeth was sleeping soundly in the room a few meters away. Who knew what this lunatic would do?

"Don't pretend to be stupid. I went back that night and looked for it carefully. If I couldn't find it, I must have been picked up by you."

"Did you lose the dagger yourself and ask me?" Winters noticed that the logic of the woman in black was a little contradictory. When the woman in black escaped that night, she threw the dagger at Winters in order to delay time.

If she valued that dagger like this, how could she use it as a flying knife?

"Mr. Montane, you don't seem to understand the situation. Now it's not that I ask you, but that you want to hand over my things to your own life." The woman in black began to become cold: "If you don't cooperate, I don't mind killing you first and then finding you yourself. Hand over my dagger!"

With the last experience, Winters had no doubt that this woman in black could kill her without hesitation.

The woman seemed to have no psychological barrier to taking a life. She had her moves in the encounter that night, all of which were aimed at Winters' vitals.

But Winters's sanity is warning Winters: Even if you return everything to the woman in black, the woman in black will still shoot you in the head and then disappear.

The point is what the woman in black really wants. Is it a dagger? Obviously not. If she really cared about that dagger, she wouldn't throw it out.

Want to challenge a dagger? Winters shook his head in his heart, and he muttered, "But I really didn't pick up a dagger... I only picked up some other things."

The bait has been hung.

"What?" The woman in black said in a cold tone.

The fish bit the hook.

"A little notebook." Winters had completely seen through the thoughts of the woman in black-stained - what she really wanted was the blank notebook.

The dagger is just a cover. If Winters obediently handed over the dagger, he would not refuse to hand over another thing. The woman in black could get the notebook back with just one sentence in an understatement; if Winters refused to hand over the dagger, the woman in black would not reveal what she really wanted.

Ignorance is not the biggest obstacle, arrogance is.

The woman in black underestimated Winters. She felt that it was easy to hide her true intentions in front of this young man, and she would pay the price for it.

"Where? Show me." The woman in black still had a cold tone, but Winters had already heard something different.

"It's in that bag on the table behind you." Winters said indifferently.

The woman in black immediately wanted to turn around and look for her, but suddenly stopped. She still held the roulette in her hands and pointed it at Winters without giving Winters any chance to raid.

She tilted her head and signaled to Winters: "Come here and give it to me."

"Can't you just take it yourself?"

"Don't talk nonsense."

Winters walked slowly to the desk, looking very reluctant, and the woman in black never left him for a moment.

But in fact, the woman in black thought was exactly what he wanted, and Wintersko never expected to distract the other person in this way.

Winters put his right hand into the blood-stained bag outside, and touched the notebook in a few strokes, but he didn't take it out.

The woman in black watched Winters put her hand into the cloth bag and froze, and repeatedly urged: "Look for it quickly."

"Do you want this?" Winters asked the woman in black with a laugh, pulling out the notebook from her shoulder bag.

Winters' smile seemed crazy under the flames. With the burning smell of leather and smoke, the blank notebook that the woman in black had to get even with her risk was burning.

When Winters got the notebook, he immediately released his magic without reservation and ignited it with fire.

The woman in black widened her eyes and let out a shrill scream.

That's now!

Winters rushed towards the woman in black like an arrow.

The woman in black was no longer focused on Winters, and the trigger was not pulled until his hand was put on the barrel.

A huge gunshot echoed throughout the house, and there was an additional bullet hole on the wooden ceiling.

Winters, who was close behind, pushed the barrel of the reel gun high and knocked the woman in black over. He used his weight to press on the woman in black and restrained the other party.

But at this time the woman in black lost her previous fierceness and cruelty. She was like a helpless little girl, struggling, crying, and shouting: "Fire... extinguish the fire..."

Winters had no time to notice the emotional changes of the woman in black. He was still vivid in his mind when the other party suddenly started to kill someone. Winters did not dare to be careless and carefully searched out all the weapons carried by the female assassin.

After searching behind him, Winters pulled the sheets off and tied the female assassin up tightly.

The woman in black let out a heart-wrenching tragic slander, and even Winters could hear her despair and resentment. She murmured like madness: "I want to kill you...I want to kill you..."

Awakened by the gunshot, Antonio hurried to Winters' bedroom with his sword. When he pushed the door, he saw that his nephew was riding on a dark thing with a bed sheet. He didn't know what he was doing. There was still a fire on the ground, and he hurriedly stepped on the fire with his feet.

Only after extinguishing the fire did he realize that the dark thing on the ground turned out to be a person.

"What happened?" Antonio calmed down unusually.

Winters, sweating profusely, gasped and said, "Thieves, this is a thief, but also a killer, and chased him from the United Provinces to his home."

The women were also awakened. Elizabeth widened his eyes and watched his brother carry a man in black to the bed. Coza lights candles and delays his time.

When there was light in Winters' room, Coza saw the figure of the man in black clearly, and she exclaimed: "This is a woman!"

"Female thief, female thief, female assassin." Winters replied.

The female assassin tied up suddenly screamed: "I want to kill you!"

Both Cosa and Elizabeth were frightened by this shrill curse.
