648. Understanding International Students

After Qin Shiou decided on his job, Wang Lei took the job and took Yao Lili to apply buds to the grape seedlings. How could Qin Shiou ask them to clean up such a large vineyard? One hundred acres, and the two had to be busy until the school started, so they called the fishermen to participate.

As the owner of the fishing ground, Qin Shiou likes to take the lead in what he does, which is an attitude.

Enjoying life is not about not working, but about trying to avoid unnecessary troubles in life. Qin Shiou actually loves labor very much.

Except for Shaq and Bird who were going to inspect the sea, everyone else was taken to the vineyard by Qin Shiou and asked them to sprout the grape seedlings.

Because Qin Shiou inputted the energy of the Sea God when he first watered, the transplanted grape seedlings had a high survival rate and good growth. The green grape seedlings had grown to more than 30 cm in height.

Looking at the hundred acres of grape seedlings floating with the sea breeze and green leaves, Auerbach said with gratitude: "What a vibrant scene, the fishing ground is getting better and better, which is really a happy thing."

The sea monster said, "I really didn't expect that our grape seedlings are of such good quality and have a high survival rate. We not only have to apply buds, but also have to set branches according to the planting density."

Bill previously found a grape planting expert for Qin Shiou, who provided him with training on ordinary planting for free. The expert told him that according to the distance of grape seedlings he responded, only one seedling can be planted in a pit, at most two, and more will not work, and the grape growth will definitely not work in the later stage.

Qin Shiou gathered the fishermen together to discuss how to work. The principle is very simple: erase excess branches, leave strong branches but not weak branches, and erase excess buds. Leave the top buds but not edge buds, so that the nutrients are centrally supplied to the retained branches and buds, which is conducive to the growth of vines.

Although the fishermen had eaten grapes and drank wine, they had never managed the vineyards. They were blinded by the grape vines, but Yao Lili had some experience.

Fortunately, Bill was in charge. He learned that Qin Shiou was going to sprout the grape seedlings, so he brought an expert from related fields to come.

Canadian agricultural companies are different from those in China. They are all very strong and maintain good contact with experts in related fields. The company even hires some agronomic experts to take up their posts.

The expert with Brazilian descent arrived at the vineyard and checked it out and gave a demonstration to the group. After the fishermen learned it, they signaled everyone to start working.

The sunshine in early summer is still relatively strong. Qin Shiou led the way and brought a small plastic box back, which contained iced beer and juice drinks, etc. to quench everyone's thirst and heat.

Then, he continued to lead and chat with the fisherman and Wang Lei and others. This was a very important thing. As the head coach, he had to cheer up his morale...

He had a good relationship with the fishermen, so he went to find Wang Lei to find out about his situation.

Wang Lei is born in the 1995s, and Qin Shiou's understanding of children of this age is their rebellion and non-mainstream.

But although Wang Lei seems to be not good at studying. If he can't continue at Newfoundland Memorial University, he will eventually fall into a grass-roots school like Preston College. But he is not good at dealing with people, and he is very down-to-earth in his work and his conversations are very steady.

Seeing Qin Shiou standing beside him with his arms held, Wang Lei picked off the tender buds on the side of the vine and asked, "Brother Qin, is there anything wrong?"

Qin Shiou said: "It's nothing. The main reason is that I'm curious about your life as an international student. When I was young, I wanted to study abroad. Unfortunately, my family had no money and had to find a job after graduation."

Wang Lei smiled and said, "Brother Qin, you are teasing me. You are very young now. What else do you want to be 'youthful when'? In addition, if your family has no money, our families will be considered extremely poor, right?"

After several days of understanding, Wang Lei has already known the scope of Daqin Fishery and the total value of these fishery.

Although he was not well-educated in the world, he also knew that if he wanted to own a fishing ground of this size, it had nothing to do with a person's struggle. No matter how hard he worked, a poor child could not have such a large and excellent fishing ground before he was thirty years old.

In addition, he saw the Porsche 918, Ford F650 and two Cadillacs parked in a private airport. If he was from an ordinary family, a luxury supercar like the Porsche 918 would definitely drive out to show off every day. Where is Qin Shiou? The car parked there and covered his car clothes, as if it was not a supercar but an electric car.

He and Yao Lili discussed it privately, thinking that Qin Shiou should be the second-generation super generation in China. His family was afraid that something would happen to him in China and sent him to play in the fishing grounds abroad.

Looking at Wang Lei's envious gaze, Qin Shiou understood his thoughts. He did not explain and simply said: "This fishing ground is not mine, it is me who inherits my grandfather's legacy. How do you choose to study abroad?"

Wang Lei shrugged and stood up and said, "Brother Qin, don't think I can only go to Preston College now. In fact, when I was in China, I had a good grade and it would be fine to get a first-class student. But in the year of my college entrance examination, my father's colleague introduced him to studying abroad. My father asked me if I wanted to study abroad, and my family's conditions were OK."

"I thought about it carefully. I have never left the province since I was a child. I really want to see the world as big as I am. In addition, my high school classmates have long gone to the United States and Australia to study, and the life they said is quite a bit like me."

"There are also the benefits of studying abroad that are widely rumored. For example, studying in developed countries can pursue better educational conditions, get in touch with advanced educational concepts, broaden your horizons and accumulate experience, improve your foreign language reading and writing skills, increase your foreign cultural knowledge and experience, etc. In the end, after thinking about it, I decided to study abroad."

"Why do you have to choose Canada?" Qin Shiou asked strangely, "Don't everyone who studies abroad likes to go to the United States now?"

Wang Lei shrugged and said, "Because I graduated from a Canadian university, I have the opportunity to change my nationality. In addition, I heard that because of the many immigrants in Canada, I have a strong cultural tolerance."

"What happened later?"

"Later, after I finished the college entrance examination in China, I came to Newfoundland Memorial University. I don't think it's difficult for professional courses, but my English is really bad. The reason why I failed the course was not because I did not take the exam well, but because I misjudged the exam time arranged by the professor. Damn it, it's so unfair!"

In the end, Wang Lei couldn't help but swear.

Qin Shiou looked at him with pity, patted his shoulder and comforted him: "There must be a road before the car arrives at the mountain. This is all a trivial matter, but do you regret going abroad to study?"

Wang Lei sighed and said, "It's hard to say. When I was in China, I had good grades. The college entrance examination scores could guarantee that I would apply to a provincial first-tier university. But I decided to go abroad at that time and thought it would increase my knowledge and life experience. Of course, my goal was achieved, but I saw a lot of things in Newfoundland." (To be continued)
