Chapter 43 The Strongest Chess Piece (Part 2)(1/2)

Putilai did not speak, but just bowed his head silently.

Veteran Gennard sighed, and the look in his eyes when he looked at Thales slowly changed.

"As for the North, as for Exeter, they will live under Lumba's lies and will, and one day they will even make this regicide their king." Thales turned his head.

Nicolai snorted.

"Walton has been in trouble ever since." The prince glanced at Nicolai and Michael and sneered softly: "This feels really bad, doesn't it."

Putilai exhaled, his eyebrows tangled.

"As for escaping?"

Thales continued, his voice a little hollow: "Leaving such a mess, where can we escape?"

The prince turned his head and glanced around everyone.

"In the future, I will die in the war-torn Yongxing City," Thales said firmly: "Now, I will die in the conspiratorial Longxiao City."

"Is there any difference?" he asked loudly.

No one spoke.

Until a deep and powerful male voice broke the silence.

"Of course!"

Everyone turned around in surprise.

The young security officer, Cohen Karabiyan, walked heavily into the back hall, with Miranda and Raphael following behind him with subtle expressions.

I saw the tall and strong security officer loudly saying: "Choose the latter, at least all of us can die like a man with a handle..."

Miranda glanced at Cohen coldly.

Raphael covered his mouth and coughed just right.

The excited Cohen's face froze, and he quickly added weakly:

"…and women."

Before anyone had time to ponder the wonder of this sentence, Thales smiled slightly.

"Thank you for your support," the second prince nodded and said kindly, "Mr. Karabiyan."

When Cohen heard the prince's approval, his eyes immediately turned into a crescent smile: "Just call me Cohen, Your Highness Thales!"

Miranda snorted.

"That's right," Thales turned around, "Horace Brightstar once said that."

"Since you can't retreat," he looked around the audience and glanced at everyone: "Why not move forward with all your strength?"

Putilai clasped his hands and looked sad.

Cohen looked excited and eager to try.

Raphael's face was calm, but his eyes were focused and his fingers kept rubbing.

But Thales's attention has shifted to the people of the North.

"What did you say, Nicolai?" he said steadily.

Nicolai frowned and stared at the prince.

"This is impossible," Meteorite shook his head and denied, "You? You and us now are nothing compared to Lombard..."

But Thales interrupted him again.

"Remember your White Blade Guards? Commander Nikolai?" The second prince looked at him firmly.

Nicolai's face was ugly and his eyes were dull.

"Maybe you don't remember," Thales snorted, his eyes extremely solemn: "But I remember."

Nicolai clenched his fists.

Michael behind him clasped his shoulders and shook his head slightly.

Thales let out a long sigh, gritted his teeth, and said bitterly while recalling, "I remember those warriors."

"I remember that they stopped in front of the 'Locust Blade' with their flesh and blood bodies."

"I remember them holding hands and shielding us from deadly crossbow bolts."

"I remember them taking their last breath and charging back at the enemy with their swords raised."

Nicolai's face became increasingly cold.

Almost everyone frowned.

"That's the Dragon Guard, the last silhouette of many of them." Thales suddenly raised his head and asked in a long voice: "Do you remember? Commander?"

Boom!

Nicolai punched the wall next to him hard.

"I personally trained them, remembering each of their names, faces, and skills..." Meteorite gritted his teeth, his eyes were like fire, and he said angrily: "Don't you fucking lecture me here, little brat of Bright Star...

"

"I'm just fucking teaching you a lesson!"

Thales also seemed to be furious. He did not flinch, and took a step forward unceremoniously, shouting at Nicolai: "Lord Seri Nicolai, and the fucking cowardly Fallen Star—damn it."

, this title is really unpleasant!”

Nikolai's eyes were blazing, his face was red, he clenched his fists and was about to step forward.

Wyatt and Rolf subconsciously protected the prince, while Cohen and Miranda put their hands on the hilts of their swords.

But Michael, who was beside the Faller, stretched out his arms in time, his muscles tensed, and held down the furious Nikolai: "Listen to what he has to say!"

Saying foul language that he was not used to, Thales took a few breaths and gritted his teeth and said:

"And you listen carefully to me."

"I will not run away, I will go back, to the place where we were beaten to pieces by Rumba and were in a hurry to save our lives."

The prince looked at everyone in front of him, from Putilai to Huaiya, from Miranda to Raphael, from Michael to Little Slippery, looked at their expressions, and said in a deep voice:

"We are going to avenge the White Blade Guards and find justice and truth for them."

"We have to prove that their sacrifices are not meaningless."

"We are going to destroy the plots and plans that Rumba has in mind, no matter what they are."

"We are going to...save this city that has already lost too much blood."

After Thales finished speaking, he patted his chest.

Nicolai gritted his teeth and sneered: "This is suicide."

"I just chose a better-looking way to die."

Thales raised his head again.

"Yes, we star people are going to commit suicide." He said coldly.

"People from the North," the second prince pushed away Huai Ya and walked up to Nicolai, staring at the Fallen Star with his eyes like swords:

"Are you coming?"

The air seemed to be frozen.

Nicolai stared hard at the second prince of the stars.

The faces of the White Blade Guards appeared alternately before his eyes.

And that guy.

Kaslan.

And him.

Nicolai's body began to tremble uncontrollably, and overwhelming power surged through his body.

Michael's expression changed, and his hands on Nicolai's shoulders became harder and harder.

Everyone watched this scene nervously.

After a while.

Nicolai flicked his arm and broke free from Michael's grasp.

"Grass!"

He looked struggling and spat hard.

The Fallen Starman looked behind Thales - the nervous little slippery man.

Thales narrowed his eyes.

"The orphan of the Walton family is here," Nicolai turned his head, his brows twitching, his face extremely twisted. He looked at Michael, as if he was explaining something, "I can't, I can't risk letting her
