1426 Fatal Strike 1

When the British were fully focused on Thessaloniki, when the British were still drawing fighter squadrons from all the surrounding air bases as much as possible to join the air strangle battle, another aircraft group was quietly hiding in the middle and low altitudes, hiding their own operations with the help of the terrain of the Balkans. A large formation of 60 fighters and 60 bombers became a mixed force of 5 24 aircraft, each of which was composed of 12 fighters and 12 bombers.

Subsequently, the second group of aircraft group taken off by the Bavarian Air Force, composed of 80 fighter jets and 120 bombers, also adopted a similar fighter jet and bomber marshal to choose a relatively hidden track to enter the battlefield! Lieutenant General Harrell never forgot the goal of his operation - consuming the strength of the British Air Force. Therefore, although the air strike on Thessaloniki is large in scale, it is actually just a fake shot!

The Bavarian Air Force's air strikes have always targeted British aircraft and pilots! However, considering that they are facing opponents of the same level this time, simply a war of attrition or bombing airports cannot gain much tactical advantages, so let's not talk about air combat. If you bomb the airport, first of all, the British will not place the planes on the airport for you to bomb. They will at least arrange a shelter. Secondly, the British have many airports and temporary field airports, and the troops are very scattered, and the bombing of large aircraft groups has a feeling of anti-aircraft guns hitting mosquitoes. The Luftwaffe does not have much information about the situation of these airports.

So, this time, the Luftwaffe adopted the tactic of pulling snakes out of the hole. Some of the aircraft bombed the Thessaloniki, one of the most important transportation hubs in Greece, and then lured the British Air Force to provide reinforcements. After the air battle, when the British flight squadron began to retreat, the bomber troops followed them to look for the airport under the cover of the fighter troops. At this time, the British aircraft had very little fuel and the air combat capability was greatly reduced. At the same time, the airport where the aircraft was heading should be preparing for the next wave of aircraft, or preparing to load and refuel the landing aircraft. At this time, the entire airport was the most vulnerable, and when the British were busy on the ground, the German bombers arrived just in time!

"The Falcon discovers the target, which should be a Camel F1 fighter squadron. There are about ten of them now. They are evacuating to the west. I have been following." A specially improved K-4m Tracer twin-engine aircraft is following a British aircraft that has just evacuated the battlefield. This aircraft, known as the Signal Flag, has undergone a lot of modifications to adapt to this mission. The aircraft minimizes the weight of weapons and structural, emphasizes high speed and high endurance, and increases radio communication capabilities. They are the eyes of the entire attacking force, carrying the weight to guide other fighters and bombers on their missions.

Pilots who can undertake this kind of mission are all old birds. They use clouds, terrain and light to detect their locations through radio positioning equipment. The main attack team determines the location of the guide based on the situation reported by the aircraft and the high-frequency radio transmitters it carries, so as to follow the guide and attack the British airport.

"I discovered it, just at 2 o'clock! God, the British are hiding so well!" The Falcon finally discovered a field airport for the British. The airport is backed by a mountain and there is a wood next to it. Except for a piece of open space and an airport, almost all other facilities are hidden in the woods. Even if it is close to reconnaissance, it is difficult to observe various facilities with camouflage nets from the air. Even now, when the Falcon is about to fly over the British, it is impossible to determine how big the airport is.

But it doesn't matter. The British are currently preparing to accept their planes. Perhaps it was because this batch of planes came back a little early, and the second batch of planes that were originally scheduled to be released had to retreat to the reserve apron. So about 12 planes, 6 fuel supply vehicles, tractors and a large number of ground crew members were crowded in a very small place.

Then, while the group of returned British planes were hovering over the airport and preparing to land in sequence, a British pilot on the ground discovered that behind the British fighter plane, a series of small black dots appeared in the sky in the back of the sun!

"What seems to be behind us?" The pilot murmured in a low voice, but now, he never expected that the Germans would come here no matter what. In fact, the British had poor early warning and coordination capabilities for small aircraft groups. They could not effectively track the fleets running around the world. Moreover, when both planes took off, the so-called air defense warning was even more messy. After all, relying on the listener alone, you cannot determine whether the aircraft was from German or British themselves. When most aircraft did not have radios, a considerable number of aircraft radios were unreliable... The Air Force Command did not know the dynamics of most aircraft!

"We have found the bird's nest and are ready to attack. We first attack the British aircraft that are preparing to land, and then strafuse the apron. According to the ground, their construction and logistics facilities should be in the woods in the northeast and handed over to the bombers behind them for handling!" Thor, who was in charge of commanding the assault team, issued an attack order to his subordinates through radio and lighting signals.

So, when the British were most unexpected, when the entire landing fleet was most vulnerable, a hunting team composed of J-3 falcon fighters and K-4m trainers followed the British into a low altitude, and stabbed them hard from behind when they were about to land!

The first ones to be solved were those planes hovering in the air. They still retained altitude and had the ability to resist, so they could only be solved first at this time! But even so, in the case of sneak attacks, when the British aircraft oil supply had reached the bottom line, it was really hard to say how much combat effectiveness it could have!

With the help of clouds and terrain, the first batch of four J-3 fighters successfully cut into the back half of the camel f1 hovering in the air. Before the British could react, they instantly swallowed two British fighters with the roar of 20mm machine guns and the beating flames. This attack completely kicked off the battle. The British found in horror that a team of German bombers touched in at the base they thought they were safe!
