Chapter 76 Smooth Negotiation

The night in Las Vegas is brightly lit and quite seductive.

Staring at the hotels that are soaring straight into the sky, each building is carved and colorful, highlighting the extraordinary prosperity of Las Vegas.

It had been a whole day, and when Harashi Chen and Durunik returned to the Caesar Palace Hotel, it was already late at night.

"Chinese, do you want to go to the late night performance?" Durunik asked with a smirk.

"I won't go anymore, it's getting late, let's take a break first." Of course, Harashi Chen knew what the so-called late-night performance was.

After unexpectedly obtaining the information he wanted, Harashi Chen felt that he could finally slow down and take a good rest.

"OK, then will we go back to NASA tomorrow?" Durunik asked with interest.

"Let's wait for Robert's news." Yuan Shichen thought about it and felt that the time to go back was still not ripe.

"I think Robert will call us soon." Durunik said confidently.

"Duronic, I'll go back to the room to sleep first. Don't play too late, you have to be more at ease." After saying this, Yuan Shichen turned around and walked towards the room.

“Bullsh~it!”

............

The next morning, Harashi Chen and Durunik went to the car market to get a car, and then drove all the way to tourist attractions such as the Grand Canyon of Colorado.

After returning in the evening, Durunik led Yuan Shichen to watch various performances: music and dance shows, magic shows, overhead shows, circus juggling, talk shows, stripping performances (it's bright, it's not as dirty as imagined).

On the third day, they continued to drive and drove to the desert park and the Hoover Dam.

Until the evening, the two finally waited for the phone call from Robert, deputy director of NASA's public relations office, and IEA organization liaison officer.

"I said Durunik, did you go through the Las Vegas inspection project smoothly?" Robert asked meaningfully on the other end of the phone.

"It's so smooth, haha~ha~" Durunik replied as he looked at Yuan Shichen and laughed happily.

"When are you going to come back?" Robert continued.

"Is Thomas still very busy these days? We will go back and disturb him after he finishes his work, otherwise it will seem like we are so presumptuous."

"Thomas has been no longer busy these two days and has been waiting for you to come back." Robert said with a smile, and of course he understood what Durunik meant.

"Okay, we'll go back to Washington tomorrow and tell Thomas that we miss him. See you again, Robert."

"OK, I'll wait for you to come back."

"There's nothing to play." Hang up the phone, Durunik looked at Yuan Shichen and said.

"It's almost done, it's time to go back and do the job." Yuan Shichen said with a smile.

............

The next day, in Washington, DC, NASA's headquarters on the fourth floor, the Office of the Director of the Space Flight Department.

Everyone, I haven’t formally introduced it yet. This is Dr. Durunik, and this is Dr. Shinchen. “Robert is making a bridge to give an opening introduction,” Deputy Director Thomas, who is in charge of the work of the Space Flight Department, has told you before.”

After Robert finished introducing the article, everyone shook hands with each other and sat down one after another. The scene was very harmonious.

"Sorry, Deputy Director Thomas, we went to Las Vegas to inspect some projects these two days and delayed a few days before we came back. We have been waiting for you for a long time."

After a little silence, Yuan Shichen began to talk nonsense with a polite look on his face.

"It doesn't matter. I happened to be busy a few days ago. The hospitality was not good, so please be more considerate." Thomas also said politely.

Durunik and Robert, who were standing beside him, looked at the two people in front of him speechlessly and lies seriously.

"I believe Director Thomas must know our true identity. According to the agreement, we have brought the technical information needed by NASA." After saying this, Huo Chen smiled and looked at Thomas.

"Thank you very much, this is the information needed by the IEA organization about the Mars II landing on Mars." Thomas naturally understood what Harashi Chen meant, and immediately took out a very precise file box from the desk drawer.

"All the data is complete and there is no omission here. In addition, before we planned to land on Mars, the unmanned spacecraft also carried out a special mission..."

While increasing the volume, Thomas emphasized the integrity of the data, he carefully described the unexpected discovery of the unmanned spacecraft when it landed on Mars.

"It seems that NASA must have known that we have met former Mars astronaut Nicholas." Harashi Chan smiled in his heart. What Thomas said was basically the same as what Nicholas said.

"Are the relevant information collected by the astronauts also included?" asked Yuan Shichen.

"Everything is inside," Thomas nodded and replied, "In addition, according to the original agreement, you can only check these materials here, and after reviewing them, you will have to return them to NASA. However, after discussions between NASA and the President's Office, we have now decided to hand over all of these materials to the IEA organization."

Indeed, NASA already knew that its trump card had been opened by the IEA organization, so today Thomas simply made a favor and handed over all the information to the IEA (Interstellar Exploration Alliance).

"Thank you very much, Mr. Thomas, you are so enthusiastic." Hara Shin-chan said with a smile.

"No, IEA is an amazing organization that is connected with the fate and future of all mankind. This is what NASA should do." Thomas waved his hand and said frankly, "I personally feel very sorry for some reasons before."

"Mr. Thomas, you are such a very kind person."

"Thank you for the compliment."

"This is the information needed by NASA." Yuan Naichen took out the black titanium box that Dean Watt gave him, declassified it on the spot, and handed it over to Thomas.

"Thank you, these information will bring more new vitality to NASA!" Thomas looked at the black titanium box with a little excited.

"In addition, we also want to take away a small number of rock samples collected by unmanned spacecraft, hoping to get your support." Yuan Shichen continued.

"No problem at all." Thomas answered without hesitation.

"That's great."

Next, after a while of greetings to each other, everyone came to the experimental warehouse where the rocks collected by the unmanned spacecraft were stored.

"Gentlemen, this is the Martian rock collected by our astronauts and unmanned spacecraft." Thomas introduced, pointing to a glass compartment with four walls.

There was a large dark brown rock stored in the glass bin, and Durunik and Yuan Shichen were observing it carefully.

"From the appearance, it is indeed very similar to the main part of the Meteorite in Naichen." Yuan Naichen thought to himself.

"Mr. Thomas, what is the roughly composed of this rock?" Durunik asked with great interest.

"It is mainly high-speed rail peridotite, monoclinic pyroxene and plagioclase." Thomas briefly looked through the information in his hand and replied.

"That's right, it's it." Yuan Shichen looked a little excited and said with great certainty in his heart.
