Chapter 131 to be honed

The sun is scorching, and it is as hot as fire. Morocco in January is not cool at all. However, the crew's shooting has not been interrupted. The filming will be released at the end of the year. Until now, the shooting is still behind the plan. Ridley Scott has re-arranged the shooting plan. The time schedule is particularly tight, and overtime has gradually become the norm.

After putting on makeup, Matthew carried a CAR-15 rifle and entered the set with his helmet. It was only a few dozen meters away and felt that his military uniform was soaked.

I just returned from the cool Los Angeles, and I couldn't help feeling uncomfortable. A while ago, he went back to North America and spent the 2001 New Year with Britney in Angel City. Just a week later, he was called back to Morocco by the crew.

Before he knew it, it was already 2001, and it has been two years since he came here...

Thinking of this, Matthew walked into the filming set and felt something stepping on his feet. He quickly focused his energy, avoided the broken bricks in front of him, and came to the front of the falling Black Hawk helicopter.

Of course, the US military will not really provide a helicopter to crash the crew, which is a carefully crafted prop.

Under the command of the assistant director, Matthew came to where he stood. In just a few minutes, many actors who played the American soldiers came to the area where the Black Hawk helicopter fell.

The shooting began immediately, gunfire sounded one after another, and explosions rose into the sky from time to time.

Throughout the afternoon, the crew was filming shots of US military fighting with Somali militias. Unlike before Christmas, Ridley Scott reduced the scenes of black extras appearing, and the shooting became smooth. Most of the shots passed in one shot. As the evening approached, the scenes of this scene had come to an end.

"Matthew! Matthew Horner!" The bearded Jack shouted, "Come here! Come here."

Returning the straw water cup to the assistant, Matthew hurried to the bearded Jack, who was standing in front of the Black Hawk helicopter, surrounded by many actors nearby.

Seeing Matthew coming, Jack, the bearded man, reminded, "During the shooting, Matthew threw away the prop grenade, you should run quickly. The fireworks team just buried a large dose, which is more powerful than the ones buried before. Do you understand?"

Matthew nodded slightly, "I understand."

In the next scene, Sergeant Hute, he plays, wants to blow up the crashed Black Hawk helicopter. Although it is just a model, the gunpowder used in daily shooting is nothing but false and will definitely not achieve the effect.

Everything was ready, the crew then cleared the scene, and only actors who participated in the filming were left near the helicopter, and Matthew was the closest to the helicopter.

"Start!" Ridley Scott personally called to start the filming.

"Be careful! Be careful!" Matthew shouted loudly and came to the Black Hawk helicopter, took out the grenade and threw it away, turned around and ran back, shouting loudly while running, "Be careful of explosion! Be careful of concealment! Be careful of concealment!"

He was like a soldier who was dodging a bomb, running very fast, and even ran to the actor who was originally behind him in a few big strides.

Boom-

The explosion sounded, and a flame rushed straight into the sky.

Matthew felt the heat waves coming from behind, so he quickly lowered his head and lowered his posture, running faster.

Fortunately, the explosion just looks very powerful, but the gunpowder used is mainly used to create fireworks and is not very powerful.

"Card!" Ridley Scott shouted to stop shooting and announced directly, "I'll be here today."

After taking off his makeup and washing off all the smoke and sweat, Matthew fell asleep when he returned to the hotel. He came to the set at less than 6 o'clock the next day and continued to participate in the shooting. The first scene today was Orlando Bloom's last scene on the crew.

Orlando Bloom's new recruit Tody Blebo fell down and was seriously injured, which led to a series of chain reactions.

The crew beautified and processed this scene.

In "Black Hawk Down: A Modern War Story" that Matthew has seen, recruit Tody Blebo fell down while sagging. Tody Blebo is an auxiliary gunman of the M60. He has a lot of ammunition on his body, which has accelerated his downward speed. In addition, due to the delay of the helicopter entering the control point, the hovering height is a little higher than the original one, 70 feet tall. As a result, Tody Blebo almost fell directly to the ground, causing a severe damage to his neck.

"It might be too embarrassing that the 'well-trained' soldier would fail by himself, so the screenwriter made up a plot where the pilot threw him off in order to avoid the RPG-7 rocket."

This is Matthew's bored guess when he was watching the shooting.

The shooting went smoothly, and Orlando Bloom successfully fell from a platform more than one meter high to a mat underground.

"Hi, Matthew." Orlando Bloom passed by Matthew when he was about to remove his makeup, and said deliberately showing off, "I'm going to be free."

Matthew reached out and slapped him, "Congratulations, Orlando, one step closer to hell."

Orlando Bloom laughed, "My next stop is Angel City, and the cool weather and beautiful girls are waiting for me." He suddenly leaned closer and whispered, "I heard Johnny Lee Miller complaining about you this morning, you must be careful."

"Thank you." Matthew knew that the conflict with Johnny Lee Miller had already spread among the trained actors. It was difficult to keep such a secret as long as a third or fourth party witnessed it. He was very confident, "Johnny Lee Miller dared not do anything to me."

"You'd better be careful." Orlando Bloom reminded again, "James and Ben are gone."

Matthew nodded cautiously. No matter what, Orlando Bloom was kind-hearted. Although he had not been together for a long time, the impression left by this Mr. Flower left him very well. No matter how you look at it, he was a enthusiastic and cheerful young man.

"Okay." Orlando Bloom waved to Matthew, "I'm leaving."

Matthew also waved his hand, "Let's get back to Los Angeles and get back together."

Afterwards, the crew finished filming another scene and moved to the periphery of the street building to film some scenes of the US military camp.

In other words, the filming of the most common literary drama is a literary drama, which is exactly Matthew's weakness, especially at the end of the script, a dialogue between Sergeant Hutter, played by him and the male protagonist Josh Hart.

This scene is related to the theme of the entire film, and Matthew encountered some difficulties in his performance.

"You're going back?" Josh Hartnett asked into the tent, "Let's go now?"

Matthew held a plate, like a real soldier, ignoring the blood on his hands and eating on his own, "There are brothers in the war zone..."

"Card!" Ridley Scott stopped shooting and said directly, "Matthew, your problem."

Matthew put down the plate and raised his hand. Ridley Scott continued, "Expression! Your expression! You are worried about your comrades! I didn't see your worries!"

He said to the surroundings, "Reset, start shooting again!"

Matthew quickly adjusted himself and recalled the content he had simulated and practiced. In the past year or so, he had simulated many acting masters and quickly found content suitable for this scene.

Such performances are to some extent opportunistic, in the words of his teacher David Astor, at the Los Angeles School of Performing Arts, such performances are soulless.

However, it is enough to use it in such a scene. After all, there is no need for a big explosion in acting skills here. Ridley Scott only requires it to be on average.

The shooting has been NG several times in succession, and it has started to become unsuccessful, but Matthew also has an advantage, and the mistakes will not be repeated for the second time.

Of course, Josh Hartnett on the opposite side is not much better than him. In Matthew's words, the two were equally in equal measure.

To be precise, the two have some similar styles, both tall and strong, outstanding appearance and average acting skills.

Generally speaking, actors with similar styles tend to conflict when staying in the same crew, but Matthew and Josh Hartnet get along well. On the one hand, the two have a lot of differences in their roles. On the other hand, Josh Hartnet is relatively low-key and modest, and will not easily conflict with others.

After making mistakes in NG more than ten times and almost important places, Matthew finally found the deep feeling the character needs.

"Every time I go home, they ask me." Matthew not only adjusted his facial expression, but also made full use of the small movements such as waiting for the left and right Gu. "Hut, why are you joining the army? Are you addicted to war? I don't say a word, why? They don't understand, they don't understand why we fight, we are fighting for our brothers! It's that simple!"

After pausing for a while, Matthew suddenly added, "It's very simple!"

After saying that, he put down the dining plate, picked up the magazine and weapon, turned around and walked out of the tent, leaving only a thick back for the camera.

This one has finally been photographed.

Matthew went to make up, Ridley Scott played back the shot just shot, and Jack, a bearded man, stood behind him.

"What a pity..." Ridley Scott shook his head.

Jack, the bearded man, knew that the boss had something to say, and asked just right, "What a pity?"

"Helen's client is very dedicated, hardworking, appearance, mind and other conditions." Ridley Scott stood up and looked at the direction where Matthew left, "acting skills need to be honed."

"Hmm." Jack, the bearded man, continued, "He can't handle the role that is too complicated. I heard Helen say that his positioning is temporarily an action-type actor."
