Chapter 1 The Giving Monk

As one of the six major martial arts holy places, Wuliang Buddhism is divided into three meridians due to different concepts, namely Chanyin Temple, Fanlian Temple and Shidu Sect, each distributed in Chanzhou, Fanzhou and Shizhou.

In fact, the influence of the martial arts holy land is often not limited to one state, nor is it only one base, but is often divided into different branches due to different regions. As for the authentic Xuanmen, it is an anomaly and cannot be regarded as common sense. It is an exception. Although it has the strength to expand, it is a place that many people cannot understand.

Fanlian Temple adheres to the pure Western philosophy and aims to self-improvement and liberation, and rejects other methods. Some people call it Hinayana Buddhism, but Fanlian Temple does not recognize this title.

Chanyin Temple absorbs Taoist sutras and promotes "not establishing words, different teachings outside the teachings, pointing directly to the hearts of people, seeing the nature and becoming a Buddha". He has the greatest influence among the three meridians.

The Buddhist sect combines the Confucian scriptures, advocating that words and teachings are not as good as teachings, and that one should save oneself and others. Many disciples of the school believe that sentient beings can be saved, and even Ahmadhi can become a Buddha. Ahmadhi means that he will eliminate good roots and will never have the ability to become a Buddha.

Conversely, Chanyin Temple and Shidu Sect are called Mahayana Buddhism, but the difference between the three is not something that can be explained clearly in a few words. Although they are of the same lineage, they are different. For example, the dragon gives birth to nine sons, and there are conflicts between them. They often argue about Buddhist principles at the meeting of the Ten Thousand Buddha Sect.

In order to thank Zen Master Cihai for his gift, Bai Yong left home and walked towards Chanyin Temple. Unlike the Taixu Realm where the Xuanmen Master built the sect in another space, Chanyin Temple is located in the Bodhi Mountains.

The outer hall of Chanyin Temple is open to the people and can be worshipped at will, especially after entering the gate, the walls of Ten Thousand Buddhas standing on both sides, and the incense is the most prosperous.

The location of the gate of Chanyin Temple is very particular. It is said that the founder of that year used great power to split the mountains, and then used his hands to carve statues of ten thousand Buddhas on the mountain walls on both sides, and blessed with magic power to immortalize for thousands of years.

Generally, incense people worship on the passage of the Ten Thousand Buddhas Walls. The Buddha statues built on the mountain are vivid and vivid, with different postures, and countless blessings of vows. When they look at them, they can't help but think of "the grace of the gods is like the sea, and the power of the gods is like the mountain". When many people who never believe in gods and Buddhas come in and take a look, they will think of worshiping in Chanyin Temple. There are also many evil people who do evil, and they are frightened to their legs when they look at them, and kneel down to repent for the evil things they have done.

Bai Yong is very clear about this. In fact, it is the power of the vows of the Ten Thousand Buddhas Walls that are effective. The vows on the Buddha statue are all the good thoughts that the people pray for beauty and desire happiness gather. When they see them, they will naturally feel at ease. When they see them, they will resist. But how can a person's evil thoughts resist the oppression of over 100 million vows, they will suddenly lose their minds.

How powerful is the vows accumulated over thousands of years? It can be said that this Wan Buddha Wall is the most powerful form of accusation in Chanyin Temple.

Bai Yong was open-minded and naturally was not oppressed by the above wishes. He admired the founder's mind at that time. He added another formation when building the Ten Thousand Buddha Wall, which could automatically filter out the forced faith generated by the wishes.

Since it is a vow, there is an effect of dependence on the gods. This effect can easily affect others, causing some people who do not believe in blindly believe and distort the human spirit. The stupider the person, the stronger the sense of dependence in the vow, and the smarter the person can resist this forced faith.

This is how cults in history come from. They use the forced faith power in their will to deceive more fools and follow them blindly, and they can't even tell whether they believe in gods is good or evil.

The founder removed this forced faith and did not force others to believe in his own teachings. This mind is really worthy of admiration. People who said that they did not believe in gods and Buddhas would have the idea of worshiping in Chanyin Temple. They were just intimidated by the majesty of the Buddha statue and the great power of shaping the Buddha statue, but were not influenced by the power of wishes.

Of course, these are all for Buddhism. Most Taoist sects do not gather their vows, and Confucian sects never care about vows.

Bai Yong came all the way to the entrance of the inner hall and handed the famous post to the monk. He was waiting for the monk to inform him when he suddenly heard someone talking.

"Mr., Sa's family has a question. I wonder if I can help answer it?"

Bai Yong turned his head and saw a fat monk standing behind him, holding half of his pig's legs in his left hand and a wine pot with his right hand, half exposed his chest. From the monk's robe, he seemed not a disciple of Chanyin Temple. However, if he was really a disciple of Chanyin Temple, he would probably be punished for breaking the precepts.

Although he was dressed in such a sloppy dress and was a wine and meat monk, Bai Yong knew that the person in front of him was an unfathomable master. Not to mention anything else, being able to come behind him without paying attention is enough to explain everything.

"This master..."

"Don't call it a master, the name of "Sajia Dharma" is called "Giver", it's just called "Giver" or "Giver"."

"My Monk, if you have any questions, just open your mouth and tell me everything."

The monk Bushi pointed to the gold-foiled Buddha statue next to him: "Shajia is wondering if these are Buddhas. Didn't it mean that Buddha has no form? Then why do you want to sculpt the Buddha statue?"

This monk is interesting. He is obviously a monk but asks others if he is a Buddha. He calls himself a family but not a monk, nor does he call Bai Yong the donor.

Bai Yong felt it interesting in his heart and replied: "The Buddha naturally has no form, but the Buddha has no form. All beings have form, but it is wrong to have no relative form. Therefore, sculpting Buddha statues in temples and offering incense to the world for worship, and to have relative form, is to follow good things like flow."

"Since you say this is a Buddha statue, it means it is not a Buddha!"

"Ha, this is just a piece of gilded soil, naturally not a Buddha."

"But the people who came here to worship incense think that they were worshiping Buddha. Isn't this deceiving sentient beings?" The questions of monk Bushi attracted the glare of the monks in Chanyin Temple, but he didn't care and ignored it.

Bai Yong explained: "If Sakyamuni came to the world, he still showed the eight stages of enlightenment, and knew that appearance and formlessness are the same. This is the true non-attachment to form. The Buddha has thousands of clones. Since the people think that this statue is a Buddha, it is a Buddha."

"Then why did you say just now that this is not a Buddha?"

"Master, if you ask me if this is a Buddha, I will naturally answer that this is not a Buddha. But if an ordinary incense person asks me if this is a Buddha, then I will answer that this is a Buddha. This is like you are a Buddha, and I am also a Buddha."

The monk Bushi laughed happily: "Hahaha, it's interesting, but there is a little bit of a disagreement between Sajia. I am a Buddha, you are not a Buddha."

Bai Yong frowned slightly, thought for a moment, then smiled and said, "Indeed, I am a Buddha, you are not a Buddha."

"Donor Bai, the abbot is already waiting in Wenhui Hall, please follow me." The janitor who had previously reported came back to report.

"Come now, you, monk..." Bai Yong turned around and found that the figure of the monk Bushi had long disappeared. He thought a little in his heart, and then followed the monk into the inner hall of Chanyin Temple.
