Chapter 57 On Lingshan, Acting is King

Lingshan Temple, Daleiyin Temple.

Eight Bodhisattvas, five hundred Arhats, three thousand enlightened Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas were arranged in two rows. On top of the throne was the Tathagata Buddha with a solemn appearance. The Buddhas gathered together to discuss matters regarding the journey to the West.

Suddenly, a King Kong wearing a golden armor and stomach ran in recklessly, almost losing his grip on the precious umbrella in his hand.

The Bodhisattva of the Void Realm scolded: "King of Heavenly Knowledge, Buddhism is quiet, why are you so panicked?"

The King of Duo Wen from the north bowed quickly and said with a horrified expression: "Repay to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, there will be chaos in Luzhou in the north, the Mysterious Lady from the Nine Heavens will come to earth, and the Immortal Qin will rise again!"

The Lingshan Hall was suddenly in an uproar.

At this time, there was a shout from outside the door, and a cyan Vajra, holding a sword upside down, came in a panic and shouted: "Looking to the south of Buzhou, the Holy Tang is recast, the saints are praising, and there is a humane atmosphere~!"

"Without growth, explore the southern continent."

Before he finished speaking, another white Vajra strode into the hall and said loudly: "Dongsheng Shenzhou is moving, the divine man is resurrected, and the gods are coming to court! Please make a decision with Tathagata."

King Dongfangchiguo also failed.

All the Buddhas were moved by it.

"It is said that Vairocana Vajra!" Bodhisattva Voidzog shouted loudly.

Vairocana Vajra is the fruition achieved by the Western King of Wide Eyes in Buddhism.

The four brothers are equally involved in the three religions. When they are in the Heavenly Palace, they are the four heavenly kings, guarding the gate of heaven. When they are in Buddhism, they are the four kings, guarding the four mountains.

They are: Wutai Mountain's Secret Demonic Rock, a Vajra with vast magical powers; Mount Emei's Qingliang Cave, a Vajra with immeasurable magical power; a Vajra with immeasurable magical power, Vairocana Vajra at Mount Xumiru; and a Vajra, the Indestructible King of Eternal Residence, at Jinshizhong Ridge, Kunlun Mountain.

The King of Guangmu in the West is permanently stationed in Mount Sumeru and has a heavy responsibility. Major events happened in the other three continents, but he did not report them.

This can only mean one thing.

That is, the disaster in Hezhou, Xiniu, frightened the king of heaven, Vajra, and refused to report it. He could hide it for a day, but it was only a day.

The three major prefectures were turbulent, and Xiniu Hezhou was no exception. The Buddhist scripture collection team rolled up a storm and pushed it all the way. Buddha lights rose into the sky, thousands of blues worshiped the leader, and Buddhas from all directions defended the lotus monk.

Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty put on a cassock to avoid the disaster of being swallowed by a big roc, and achieved the wonder of transcending the world and becoming a saint. Even when he was sitting in meditation, there were thousands of gods paying homage to him; when he was walking around, there were also seven Buddhas with him.

One of the Buddhas is the Purple Gold Holy Buddha, holding the Three Jewels Ruyi, with a majestic appearance, and the mystery of creating the heaven and earth.

Trading the Holy Buddha for Guanyin makes all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas tremble with fear. What on earth is Jin Chanzi going to do?!

Could it be that we want to open up a second spiritual mountain in the human world?

There is also the question of where the holy Buddha, who cannot be seen or explained, came from, and why he had the courage to outdo a great Bodhisattva. There is not even a trace of information about him in the three realms and six realms.

"That's good, that's good." Maitreya Bodhisattva smiled slightly and said: "A Buddha has appeared in our Buddhist sect. It is really a happy event. How about recruiting him to the Lingshan Mountain and incorporating it into the Buddhist scriptures?"

"Inappropriate, inappropriate." Beside the Buddha, Kassapa snorted coldly: "There has never been a holy Buddha in our Buddhist sect. They should be evil demons and heretics. When the journey to the west is over, they will be eliminated together."

Maitreya Bodhisattva raised his eyebrows, looked at Kassapa's side, and couldn't help but smile: "What Venerable Kassapa said makes sense, why not send Venerable Ananda there?"

The Lingshan Palace suddenly fell silent. Many Arhat Bodhisattvas had discovered that Kasyapa Ananda, who used to follow the Buddha, was now the only one.

Ananda, where have you gone?!

Lingshan suddenly fell silent. We didn't dare to say anything, and we didn't dare to ask.

Another person sitting on a lotus, with an ancient Buddha with a light emerging from his palm, sighed, Xiniu Hezhou was in chaos, Lingshan was harmonious on the surface, but secretly it was divided into two factions.

Kassapa Bodhisattva, headed by the ten greatest disciples of the Buddha, directly supported his own people, Subhuti, Jinchanzi, and Tang Xuanzang, the two disciples of the Buddha.

In their view, Tang Seng's behavior was not extraordinary, it was just a smooth succession.

Whoever succeeds will naturally be the current Buddha's position. The inheritance of master and disciple is a matter of course.

In this way, we encountered the resistance of the future Buddha, Maitreya Bodhisattva. You, master and disciple, are happy and have an orderly inheritance. Where do you put me, the future Buddha?

In the past, the Buddha was not qualified to take charge of Lingshan. Doesn’t it mean that I, Maitreya, am not qualified?!

He was predicted by the Buddha Sakyamuni as "the future Buddha, which is also logical and justifiable."

The struggle between Buddha's disciples and the future Buddha gradually involves the ancient Buddha of Deng Deng.

Kassapa bowed from a distance and said: "Old Buddha, you are the ancestor of ten thousand Buddhas, and you are before my teacher. Is this holy Buddha true? Please open your Dharma eyes and take a look."

Now Buddha Tathagata is a god. The god is aloof, impartial and selfless.

It is impossible to participate in the struggle between disciples and successors. This will lose the majesty of the current Buddha.

Now Tathagata Buddha has to be a referee.

At this time, the attitude of the ancient Buddha on Lingshan Mountain is extremely important and can even have the final say.

But, he just didn't express his opinion.

The ancient Buddha of Ran Deng proclaimed a Buddha's name: "Namo Amitabha, the Buddha's Dharma is vast. Within the surrounding world, countless living beings and hundreds of millions of people bathe in the grace of the Buddha."

For a moment, all the Buddhas were speechless. It was as if they had said nothing.

He Xinni must be your old man.

The future Buddha Maitreya also looked over with a smile, bowed slightly and said, "Please enlighten me, Lord Buddha."

The Ancient Buddha of Ran Deng looked calm, pondered for a moment, and said slowly: "The Dharma is equal, and there is no superiority or inferiority. Since all sentient beings have their own Tathagata Tibetan mind and body, they can also cultivate to the Buddhaland like all the Buddhas in the ten directions."

Fruit position."

"This is called Anuttarasamyaksambodhi."

At this time, Kongzang Bodhisattva couldn't stand it any longer. He was the great steward of Lingshan and an existence like the Patriarch of the Law. He asked directly: "How to deal with the Holy Buddha, or the ancient Buddha has made it clear."

The ancient Buddha of Ran Deng pinched the flower, smiled, put his hands together and said: "The Buddha said, don't say it, don't say it."

The Buddhas of the past, headed by the Tathagata Lighting the Ding Ding Guang, stand still. They don't care who becomes the Buddha. They will always be the Buddhas of the past.

Kongzang Bodhisattva asked: "So, it's killing, it's inviting, it's surrendering, and I'd like to ask the ancient Buddha for an idea."

At this moment, the three thousand Buddhas in the past were singing, their Zen sounds were faint, vast and majestic.

"It can't be said, it can't be said. It's like Buddha pinching flowers and Kassapa smiling. Only the benevolent can understand."

Gazes focused on Kassapa. His expression froze, "I know a hammer."

The Buddha pinched flowers and smiled, which was a test of my understanding.

You light the lamp and pinch the flowers, but you are just a riddle person.

However, these words cannot be explained clearly. A look of great liberation, great freedom, and great enlightenment appeared on the face of Venerable Kassapa. He was extremely moved and said: "Buddha said, it cannot be said. Only the mind can realize it. If you realize it, you will become a Buddha."

All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas suddenly trembled, not weaker than others, and they all showed signs of enlightenment.

Have you realized it?! I have realized it.

Really? I don't believe it.

Believe it or not, I have finally realized it.
