The first thousand four hundred and sixty-five chapters, the Buddha's truth

Pure the West Heaven, also known as the Western Paradise, is the Pure Land of Buddha, which was achieved by Amitabha Buddha. The Buddhist often says that all sentient beings are saved and going to the Western Paradise is that they extradite people to the Buddha's kingdom of the Western Paradise.

In the entire Buddhist sect, Amitabha Buddha's status can also be said to be extraordinary. Although the Buddhist sect was founded by Sakyamuni Buddha, the entire Buddhist sect is not the one-man sect of the Buddha named Gautama Siddhartha. Amitabha Buddha occupies one of the three Buddhas in the world. In terms of status and qualifications, he is completely no longer under Sakyamuni Buddha.

What’s interesting is that there is also a Medicine Buddha in the Heng Three Worlds Buddha. However, this Medicine Buddha is not as good as the other two people in the Heng Three Worlds Buddha in terms of status and popularity. Even Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism, fell behind Amitabha in some aspects.

For example, people often talk about Amitabha and Namo Amitabha, but no one has ever talked about Sakyamuni Buddha or Medicine Buddha. For example, everyone hopes to enter the Western Paradise, but no one has ever said they want to enter the Central Posa World hosted by Sakyamuni Buddha.

Although in terms of Buddhist theory, the Central Posa World is a land of endurance where sentient beings have serious sins and must endure all kinds of troubles and sufferings, and the five turbidities and evil worlds. The Western Pure Land is a Pure Land, a perfect world of solemnity, pure and equality. As expected, the latter should be more attractive. But no matter what, Sakyamuni Buddha is weaker than Amitabha Buddha in this regard. The unreasonableness of this is like you worked hard to create a company, but the result is that your partners occupy the head office.

This is not the strangest thing, the strangest doubts also appear in the story of Journey to the West.

As we all know, the end point in the story of Journey to the West is the Great Leiyin Temple in Lingshan, Lingshan, mentioned in the book. The Western Heaven naturally refers to the Western Paradise, which is the Buddha's land of Amitabha Buddha. However, Lingshan is not the territory of Amitabha Buddha. Because Lingshan is originally named Lingjiu Mountain, it is the place where Sakyamuni Buddha preaches. Even if it really exists, it should be in the World of Sasha, not in the Western Paradise.

In addition, the doubts about Buddhism in Journey to the West are the ultimate goal of Journey to the West, the spread of Mahayana Buddhism into the east.

Mahayana Buddhism has always paid attention to the Dharma of Amitabha Buddha, who saves all sentient beings. Hinayana Buddhism saves oneself, which means to cultivate oneself, to break wisdom, and ultimately obtain great liberation and great freedom. It is a method to achieve the right result through practice. However, the Mahayana Buddhism is different. Mahayana Buddhism emphasizes saving people. They believe that through the Buddha nature and the practice of Bodhisattvas, others can see the nature and realize the right result. For example, the so-called "let go down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha immediately is the thought of Mahayana Dharma Buddha.

Regardless of the good or bad of these two kinds of Buddhist teachings, you can see just by going to the West to obtain the so-called Mahayana Buddhism, the weight of Amitabha Buddha in the entire Journey to the West. As we all know, there is only one Buddha in Journey to the West, that is, Tathagata. Many people regard Tathagata as Sakyamuni Buddha, which is actually a prejudice after following the crowd.

Tathagata, whose Sanskrit is called Agata. It means that there is no way to come from and nowhere to go, so it is called Tathagata. This title does not refer to a certain Buddha, but a kind of honorific title for the powerful. Therefore, the Tathagata in Journey to the West does not necessarily refer to Sakyamuni, but may also refer to Amitabha Buddha or even the future Maitreya Buddha.

From various known signs, the so-called Tathagata is more likely to be Amitabha Buddha, the master of the Western Paradise, rather than the Sakyamuni Buddha whom people always think. This is a proof of whether it is from the perspective of the Western Paradise or the Mahayana Buddhism. If you don’t believe it, there is actually another evidence.

There are two Buddhas in the three worlds, and each Buddha has two lexicon Bodhisattvas around him. From the perspective of Journey to the West, there is only one most conspicuous Bodhisattva in the whole story, that is Guanyin. What’s interesting is that Sakyamuni’s lexicon Bodhisattva is not Guanyin, but his lexicon is Manjushri and Samantabhadra. Guanyin is instead Amitabha’s lexicon.

Guanyin is not an ordinary existence. Her magical powers are not inferior to the Buddha. The reason why she has not become a Buddha is entirely because she has not realized her ambition. If such an existence is not a boss at the immediate end, anyone will drive her to remain unmoved. Judging from her active performance in Journey to the West, the identity of Tathagata is actually obvious.

Of course, if you calculate this, the entire Buddhist sect will probably be in chaos. But in fact, if you carefully write and compare it, you will find that this is the real Buddhist sect.

It is certain that Buddhism was born in the fifth century BC and was created by Sakyamuni. However, Sakyamuni may not be the master of the Buddhist revival.

From seeking the Tao to practicing asceticism, to attaining enlightenment and enlightenment, he finally obtained great wisdom, transcendence, and became a Buddha. This can be said to have laid the foundation for the prosperity of Buddhism and evolved the path. However, this does not mean that he can directly make the entire Buddhism flourish to the later stage.

The creation of any force starts with the charity team, and Buddhism is no exception. It is just that the charity team's Buddhists must face huge pressure if they want to prosper. This pressure is nothing else, but the Brahmin forces that dominate India. With the power of Buddhism, even if Shakyamuni, a god-born Buddha who is unborn, it is impossible to be the opponent of the three Brahmin kings. Not to mention anything else, Shiva is probably enough for him to bear it.

From Buddhist scriptures, we must not see the decline of Buddhism in fighting Brahminism. However, from historical allusions, we can see a little clue.

First, Devadatta rebelled. This cousin of Sakyamuni was the leader of the Buddhist sect at the time. His rebellion and division must have had an impact on the Buddhist sect. Then, the two sages entered the extinction. It was almost the same as the actual leader of the Buddhist sect that the death of Shariputra, as well as the fact that Maudgalyayana was killed by the Brahmins, was almost inevitable, which made the development of the Buddhist sect enter a state of worse injury.

In the end, the demise of the Sakyamuni clan was a fatal blow to Buddhism.

After experiencing many blows, even a venerable like Sakyamuni could not bear it. According to history, Sakyamuni passed away in the corpse and refined into relics.

Buddha bone relics are real things. This alone is enough to prove that the so-called Sakyamuni Buddha has long since disappeared. It is actually just a saying. In the face of cruel reality and war, even a person like him is almost inevitable to destruction.

And only the founder like him is gone, and Amitabha, one of the three Buddhas in the Heng Three Worlds, is qualified to become the only master of the entire Buddhism.

There is only one Buddha, and that is Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha Buddha brought the Buddha Kingdom in the West and the Lingshan preaching land into the heaven, which actually shows what kind of disaster the entire Buddhist sect has encountered.

There are only one Buddhas in the three worlds, and only Avalokitesvara Bodhisattvas are Guanyin, Manjushri and Samantabhadra. In addition, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Maitreya Buddha belong to the later generations. There are actually only a few great masters of the entire Buddhism. Others, such as the Eight Hundred Arhats, the Four Heavenly Kings, the Eight Tribes, etc., are still alive, but they are not the mainstay of the entire Buddhism.

Achieve the Buddha's fruit is the true pillar of Buddhism and the future of the entire Buddhism. However, it is not easy for Buddhism, who have been knocked down into the void in the war of gods and have to be merged into the heavens to obtain those disciples who can attain the Buddha's fruit. Talents are scarce anywhere. Even if they change to another realm and come to the Middle Earth preaching, which is more inclusive, Buddhists will also face serious competitive pressure.

However, Amitabha Buddha was the master of the revival of Buddhism after all. Unlike Sakyamuni's tolerance, this Buddha's behavior has always been domineering and his methods are also very good. This is not consistent with the Buddha's transcendence, freedom, compassion and equality, but it is undeniable that such methods are indeed necessary to revitalize Buddhism.

The Buddha was able to develop to this scale in Middle Earth, and Amitabha, who claimed to be Tathagata, made great contributions. However, as the heavens fell into the depths of the void, the development of Buddhism was inevitably trapped in a bottleneck.

Middle Earth China is still there, and Heavenly Court and Taoist Sect can still tolerate the expansion and development of Buddhism. After all, there is enough food on the plate, and sharing a pair of chopsticks is not a big deal. But when Middle Earth China is out of the control of heaven, things become different. Even if your own belly cannot be filled, how can you, an outsider, still be able to make a slam of your swagger?

So after that, the development of Buddhism was restricted. Even if they colluded with the Jade Emperor of Heaven and fought against the Taoist sect together, the result was not much improvement.

After all, the Jade Emperor is not a fool. He cannot do such stupid things as having just left the tiger's mouth and then entering the wolf's den. While cooperating, it also stumblings to the Buddhists and making them difficult for them to move forward. This is not a problem for him, who is accustomed to using conspiracies and tricks.

But now, he could no longer do so. Because he had written such an edict, he obviously planned to use the condition of relaxing the constraints to exchange for support from Buddhism.

Under this condition, Buddhism will definitely not ignore it. The only problem is what conditions should he offer to get the greatest support of Buddhism. This is the biggest problem facing Taibai Jinxing. When he came here, he explained that he already has a certain basis for how to solve this problem.

The matter is caused by humans. He had already made up his mind so determined that he would not be able to stop because of concern at this time. So immediately, he shouted in the direction of Lingshan Gate.
