Chapter 25 Photos

"Who are you? You don't know how to knock before entering?" Even though the deputy team leader is older, he still has a hot temper.

The people who broke into the office were a man and a woman. They looked like a couple. They were about sixty years old and were of the same age as the deputy team member.

The old woman looked restless, "Alyssa...Alyssa is my daughter, have you found her?"

Jenny stood up and greeted them, "Are they Mr. White and Mrs. White? I'm Agent Jenny."

"Yes, Officer Jenny, let's talk on the phone. Have you found her?" The old woman walked over quickly and took Jenny's arm.

The deputy team said, "Mr. White, Madam, please sit down and calm down. So far, we have not received any reports about Alyssa's disappearance. The disappearance of Alyssa is just speculation by the police.

I asked you to come here because I want to learn as much as possible about the situation and determine Alyssa’s current condition.”

Alyssa's father White asked, "How did you speculate that something happened to my daughter?"

The deputy said, "Mr. White, Madam, please come to the lounge with me. Luke pours two glasses of water in."

Luke walked into the lounge with two glasses of water and placed them in front of Mr. and Mrs. White.

The deputy team introduced, "This is Agent Luke. He discovered something unusual about your daughter while investigating the case. Luke, tell me what happened."

Luke sat across from Mr. and Mrs. White, organized his language, and asked, "Do you know about the recent 'Taser Robbery'?"

White said, "I think I saw it on CBS News."

"Yes, it is this case. This case is investigated by our Robbery and Murder Division. Two similar cases have already occurred. We have determined the general scope of the suspect's crime through his habits and location.

It happens to be where your daughter works.

Your daughter's physical characteristics are very similar to those of the two previous victims.

In addition, we learned that Alyssa had resigned, and the time of resignation was close to the time when the suspect committed the crime.

We just thought of checking Alyssa’s condition to determine her safety.”

White said, "Officer Luke, thank you, if it weren't for your responsibility for the case, we wouldn't know what happened to Alyssa."

Luke comforted, "Mr. White, you don't need to be too anxious. There is no clear evidence yet to prove that Alyssa has been robbed.

We checked Alyssa's mobile phone and found that she sent two text messages on Saturday morning, one of which was a resignation text message.

There was also a text message sent to her husband, Steven, saying that she was leaving and asking Steven not to look for her.

Based on what you know about her, it is possible that she ran away from home because she was in a bad mood."

Mrs. White shook her head, "That's impossible. My daughter and I have always had a very good relationship. Even if she had a conflict with Steven, she would tell me that it was impossible to say goodbye without saying goodbye."

Luke took the opportunity to ask, "How is her relationship with Steven?"

Mrs. White sighed, "My daughter loves Steven very much, but I don't see what's good about him. We didn't approve of them when they got married, and we often quarreled over the years of marriage.

I even advised my daughter to leave Steven, but she didn't listen.

If she really wanted to leave Steven would have told me instead of just running away."

Luke asked, "Do you have any other way to contact Alyssa?"

"We contacted all our relatives and friends, but there was no news about Alyssa." Mrs. White cried, "She has never been like this before. Something must have happened..."

While talking, Mrs. White couldn't control herself and burst into tears.

White put his arm around his wife's shoulders, silently comforting her.

Luke brought a pack of tissues and handed them to Mrs. White.

"Thank you. Just keep talking, I'm fine." Mrs. White wiped her tears and endured the pain, hoping to hear more about the case.

"Madam, would you like to take a rest?"

"No need, I can do that, just keep asking."

"Is there anything unusual about Alyssa recently?"

Mrs. White thought for a while, "I just talked to her on the phone last Wednesday. I asked her to have dinner with her on Sunday, but she said she didn't have time. I didn't hear anything unusual."

Luke nodded, "Suppose Alyssa was kidnapped, do you have any suspects?

Mrs. White's eyes were red and her voice was choked with sobs, "It's my fault...I can't think of anyone who would do this."

Seeing that White remained silent, Luke asked, "Mr. White, do you have any suspicion?"

White showed an angry look and clenched his fists, "Where's Steven? If my daughter was kidnapped on Friday, why didn't Steven call the police? Where is that bastard?"

"We went to Alyssa's house and met Steven. According to him, he saw the message sent by Alyssa and thought that Alyssa was really going to leave him."

White became even more angry and banged his fist on the table, "So? He's actually indifferent. Doesn't my daughter deserve him? He's not even willing to give us a call."

How could I marry my daughter to such a bastard?"

The deputy waved his hand and said, "Mr. White, calm down. Anger can't solve any problems."

"I'm sorry, I'm not targeting you, I just... can't accept it."

"I also have children, and I can understand how you feel." The deputy team waved his hand, gesturing for Luke to continue.

Luke took out a photo of Tony and said, "Mr. White, Madam, have you seen this man?"

The two took the photo and looked at it carefully, "I haven't seen it before."

Luke took out pictures of the two victims again, "Do you know these two people?"

Mrs. White took the photo with trembling hands, "Are these two victims of a Taser robbery?"

"Yes, a white female in her thirties, with long blond hair, about 170cm tall."

"My daughter, why is this happening..." Mrs. White held her forehead with her hands, looking overly sad.

The deputy pouted and kept winking at Luke.

Luke nodded slightly, "Mr. White, Madam, how is Alyssa's financial situation?"

White sighed, "It's not very good. My daughter is a hard-working person, but Steven is different. She is lazy and lazy. She doesn't even have a serious job, and her life is a mess. Sometimes we will help her."

Does this have anything to do with the case?"

"Do you know what Alyssa does?"

Mrs. White said, "She works as a teacher at a training institution."

Luke asked, "Does she have other part-time jobs?"

Mrs. White shook her head, "I don't know, probably not."

White's cheek twitched and his face looked a little ugly.

"Mr. White, do you know?"

"What does this have to do with Alyssa's disappearance?"

"It's still unclear why Alyssa disappeared. We all need to know about her family, work, and financial status. The more comprehensive information the police have, the more helpful it will be in investigating the case."

"Alyssa..." White's face became increasingly ugly and he hesitated, "She does have a part-time job...dancing in a club."

"Boll Club."

"Yes."

Mrs. White was surprised and said, "Dancing in a club...why didn't I know that?"

White lowered his head, "I didn't tell you."

"Why? I also have the right to know my daughter's work. Why should you hide it from me?"

Obviously Mrs. White hasn't figured out what kind of club this is, and Luke doesn't intend to explain it to her. He continues to ask White, "She told you about Alyssa dancing in the club."

"Alyssa never said that."

"Then how do you know?"

"Some time ago, someone planted an envelope at my door, which contained photos of Alyssa dancing in a club..." White clenched his fists again and gritted his teeth.
