Chapter 466 Lots of doubts(1/2)

Luke didn't completely believe what he said. What he wanted to find out now was whether the other party was really injured or fake.

And is the injury really as serious as he said?

"Which hospital did you receive treatment for your gunshot wound? Why were you discharged so quickly?"

Little William Moses spread his hands and hesitated, "An unknown small clinic."

Luke raised his eyebrows, "Black clinic?"

Little William Moses said nothing, which was equivalent to acquiescence.

"Being shot is not a trivial matter. Why should I go to a black clinic for treatment?"

"Because I don't want to cause trouble."

"What trouble?"

"E on, everyone understands."

"I don't understand, so you'd better make it clearer."

Little William Moses pinched his forehead with his hands and said after a while, "That clinic is relatively close to the place where I was injured, and I was sent there nearby."

This reason obviously cannot convince Luke. Big hospitals can reimburse medical expenses, but black clinics do not have such discounts.

If you are afraid of going to a big hospital for treatment after suffering a gunshot wound, it only means that the other person is suffering from eucalyptus. Once you are hospitalized due to a gunshot wound, even if the injured person does not call the police, the hospital will help call the police.

As if afraid Luke wouldn't believe it, William Moses Jr. added, "I didn't do anything illegal...

Well, I did make mistakes in the past, but I have corrected them.

I'm just not used to interacting with the police, that's all."

Luke would not believe his lies. In Luke's opinion, he did not dare to call the police even though he was injured by a gunshot. The most likely reason was that he was worried that his drug dealing would be discovered by the police.

Even if the murderer is caught by then, he may go to jail together.

Since Luke had guessed the reason, he did not pursue the matter blindly. In order to facilitate the interrogation, Luke planned to put the drug trafficking matter later.

"Do you want to find your attacker?"

Little William Moses gritted his teeth and said, "I can only dream of it."

"OK, then we have a common goal. Describe how you were shot, as well as the specific time and place."

William Moses Jr. looked reminiscing, "I've encountered some troublesome things recently and I'm very depressed.

On the night of March 1st, I went to Winola Bar to drink. I drank too much and got drunk. Maybe I would forget some unpleasant things.

It was around 11 o'clock in the evening when I came out of the bar and was about to cross the road to the parking lot on the other side." As he spoke, little William Moses involuntarily touched the bandage on his shoulder. "Suddenly, a car stopped.

On the roadside, I didn't pay much attention at the time.

The car window was lowered, and I saw a man, no, to be precise, I saw a hand holding a revolver.

I was startled and sober.

I wanted to hide, but it was too late.

The other party fired directly, and a bullet hit my shoulder. I turned around and ran away, and another bullet hit my cheek...

She fired two more shots in succession, but she didn't hit me. Her shooting skills were terrible.

I ran away, to an angle where it was difficult for her to shoot, and then I took out my pistol and fought back.

She drove away."

"How many shots did the other party fire in total?"

"Six shots."

"How many shots did you fire?"

"I can't remember clearly. I was drunk and was shot. My consciousness was a little unclear. I just fought back instinctively."

"Did you call the police afterward?"

"No."

"Were there any witnesses at the time?"

"It was already after 11 o'clock in the evening, and there were basically no people on the street. No one dared to come over after the gunfire. It was not until the gunfire passed for a while that anyone came out of the bar."

Luke asked, "Did you see what the shooter looked like?"

William Moses Jr. shook his head, "It was very dark at the time. I just saw her arms and was wearing a red top. She was probably a woman."

"Are you sure it's a female?"

Little William Moses thought for a while, "No, the time was very short. Only for a moment, my eyes were attracted to the gun in her hand. It was a black revolver. I remember it very clearly."

"What kind of car was the shooter driving?"

"A white Honda sedan."

"What's the license plate number?"

William Moses Jr. shook his head, "It's blocked, I can't see it."

"How did you go to that black clinic?"

"I was injured and lying on the ground asking for help. People at the bar heard the noise and sent me to the clinic."

"You went to the bar alone?"

"Yes."

"What was the name of the man who sent you to the clinic?"

"I don't know. I was in so much pain that I didn't even bother to ask. Now that I think about it, I feel guilty. I should have asked. He is a good man.

If it hadn't been for him, I might have died."

"Describe that person's appearance?"

"It was a white man. That's all I remember. It was very dark and my wound hurt. I didn't care about his appearance, but I remember his voice.

If you find him, I can identify him."

"What car did you take to go to the clinic?"

"My own car."

"Tell me the specific location of the clinic and the names of the doctors and nurses who performed the surgery on you."

William Moses Jr. shook his head, "This matter has nothing to do with them. I don't want to involve anyone."

"You're already involved."

"OK, do you need me to call a lawyer?

I am a victim, but you are interrogating me like a suspect. Maybe it would be more convenient to call a lawyer."

"What did you say? How did you buy drugs from Harry Sabo? That's why you didn't dare to call the police after being shot, so you had to go to a black clinic to treat the gunshot wound."

Little William Moses' expression changed drastically, "I didn't, you are slandering me."

"Slander?" Luke smiled, "Then why do you think we found your home?

Don't think that since Harry Sabo was killed, no one will know what you did.

Nko Dumat is still alive and he accused you of using $200,000 to buy drugs from Harry Sabo."

"He's lying! I've never bought drugs!" William Moses Jr. stood up and retorted loudly.

Mrs. Moses stood in front of her son and defended, "I know my son and he will never touch drugs. You must be mistaken.

And I will never allow you to take him away from my house."

"I won't take him away." Luke walked aside, took out his mobile phone and dialed David's number. Since William Moses Jr. is suspected of drug trafficking, it would be more appropriate to hand him over to the Anti-Crime and Anti-Drug Department.

After making the call, Luke sat on the sofa opposite and stared at little William Moses.

Little William Moses looked angry, "What do you want?"

"Formal introduction, I am Luke Lee, captain of the 1st Squadron of the Robbery and Murder Division.

Your drug dealing is not my business, so I don't have to ask.

The purpose of my coming here is to investigate the circumstances surrounding the murder of Harry Sabo, and you were also the subject of my suspicion."

Little William Moses snorted, "Do you think I can kill him like this?"

"Don't be resistant. Think about it differently. You were attacked on the night of March 1st, and Harry Sabo was killed on the night of March 2nd. Isn't it a coincidence?"

Little William Moses thought for a moment and said, "You suspect that the ones who attacked us are the same group of people."

Luke nodded, "It's possible.

So, don’t you want to catch the gunman who attacked you?”

Little William Moses stared at Luke for a long time, then slowly said, "What do you want me to do?"

"I just want to know more about how you were shot."
