Volume 8 Hundred Years of Resentment Chapter 19 War without Gunpowder

Assets, Wang Yuanshan Yuanru + Yanbo and Li Chengwen; in terms of fame, Wang and the two...

As the second largest semiconductor production group in the world, the president of Taiwan’s largest semiconductor production group and the most famous “second generation ancestor” in Taiwan, Wang Yuanshan not only inherited his father’s industry, but also inherited his father’s abilities.

In 2014, when Wang Yuanshan took over TAI, TAI was only the fifth largest semiconductor production group in the world and the second largest semiconductor production group in Taiwan. In 2c177, TAI became Taiwan’s largest and third largest semiconductor production group in the world. The rapid expansion method is simple: to occupy the mainland market with all its might. This move is very visionary, because the global financial crisis that broke out in 20199 quickly affected the semiconductor industry. The subsequent financial crisis turned into an economic crisis and the Great Depression that caused the semiconductor industry to suffer a heavy blow. Several semiconductor manufacturers that previously posed a major threat to TAI failed to survive the severe winter due to their strategy errors. TAI not only persisted, but also made great progress between 20199 and 2026, becoming the world’s second largest semiconductor production group after Intel.

What made Wang Yuanshan famous was not to strengthen Taiwan Power, but to enter the field of commercial processor production under his command.

In 2021, TaiPhone acquired Amdd, which was on the verge of bankruptcy at an ultra-low price of US$21.1 billion. Although in order to obtain all the patents of Amdd, TaiPhone assumed an extremely high debt of about 118 yuan, TaiPhone also mastered the main production technology of commercial processors and stepped half of its foot into Intel's territory.

In 2022, Electric Power and SMIC Group (a commercial processor development and production company in mainland China) jointly invested in the establishment of "Huaxin Group" to officially challenge Intel. Just one year later, "Huaxin Group" launched its first low-end commercial processor to the market. With the strong production capacity of NTD Group, it won the favor of many whole-machine manufacturers and installed users at a price of 35% lower than Intel's similar products, forcing Intel to join the price war. Subsequently, "Huaxin Group" steadily occupied 30% of the low-end market, and launched its first mid-to-high-end commercial processor in 2025, and provided the chipset developed with NTD Group with the cheapest whole-machine solution for all kinds of customers. Starting from this year, "Huaxin" and Intel began to fight for the market, and most commercial processors will be sold at the price of cabbage within half a year after the launch. Many people believe that Wang Yuanshan is touching the stone with an egg.

It seems that when the price war is finally over, electricity is likely to lose all its money.

In fact, many people have ignored the behind-the-scenes reasons for the fierce competition in the commercial processor market.

During the Great Depression, Taiwan Power was the only semiconductor production group in the world that could make profits every year. During this period, Intel suffered losses almost every year. Although the US government provided huge aid and guaranteed loans to Intel, Intel did not have much capital when it launched a price war.

More importantly, Taiwan Electric is not fighting alone.

In 2022, after launching the first commercial processor, Wang Yuanshan took the initiative to contact +Yanbo, Ye Yongji and others, hoping to obtain financing. In 2024, +Yanbo was the first to reach an agreement with Wang Yuanshan to exchange 17% of the shares of TaiDi Group at 850 and obtain a board seat. The following year, Ye Yongji and Wang Yuanshan reached an agreement to exchange 15% of the shares of TaiDi Group with the same funds for TaiDi Group and obtain a board seat. Last year, Li Chengwen joined in and exchanged 1200 for TaiDi Group at 17% of the shares of TaiDi Group. He became the second largest shareholder of the Group on par with +Yanbo. The three exchange agreements allowed Wang Yuanshan to obtain 2,900 funds (equivalent to 720 yuan).

Because the exchange agreement stipulates that Wang Yuanshan can gradually buy back the shares within the next 1. Therefore, + Yanbo, Ye Yongji and Li Chengwen do not intend to join Taiwan Electric Power Group (3 people hold 49% of the shares, Wang Yuanshan represents the local Wang family holding 51% of the shares). Instead, he provides "fire support" to Wang Yuanshan through the exchange of shares.

Without question. This is a commercial war between the Republican Merchant Group and the American Merchant Group.

After using + Yanbo to exchange the stocks of Taiwan Electric Group, he said in an interview with reporters: How much money is invested does not matter. There must be a "core" of the Chinese nation.

Wang Yuanshan had already released it to drive Intel out of the Chinese market. Taiwan Electric Power Group would never give up.

In this sentence, Wang Yuanshan reached the top position of "the top ten Chinese people in 2025" and became a household name "star". The American Time magazine published photos of Wang Yuanshan on the cover of December 2025, saying that Wang Yuanshan will be the terminator of the "Intel Era".

No matter what the outcome of this war without gunpowder, Wang Yuanshan's actions showed the ambition and courage of the descendants of Yan and Huang to the world.

Wang Yuanshan was not only invited to the 2026 Spring Festival "state banquet", but also highly appreciated by Zhao Rundong.

Not long after, Taiwan Electric Group and "Huaxin Group" received a national guaranteed loan of 15c0. This incident caused a strong shock in the United States. US President Westwood even publicly claimed that the Republic's move was suspected of violating relevant regulations of the World Trade Organization.

Corresponding actions will be taken. In the end, the US government did not take any action except for a secured loan of approximately 80 yuan for Intel.

The reason is very simple. Taiwan Electric Power Group has close ties with many Taiwanese companies. If the US government sanctions Taiwan Electric Power Group, it will inevitably have a serious impact on the island economy, thereby negatively affecting the relationship between the United States and Taiwan.

The smartest thing about Wang Yuanshan is to provide support to Taiwan Power in the best way for the island and mainland business community.

After the US President announced that he would provide Intel with an 80 yuan guaranteed loan, American scholars came forward to claim that due to institutional restrictions, Intel could not receive full support from the government and would no longer exist in five years. Commercial processors produced by the Republic will dominate the global market like electric cars, and American consumers are not allowed to purchase computers and network equipment printed with "Made in China".

Although it is a bit alarmist, it is very close to the actual situation.

The US federal government may provide huge guaranteed loans to private enterprises like the Republican government, and every penny needs to be approved by Congress. After the Great Depression, there are too many holes that the US federal government needs to block, and it is impossible to inject too much blood into Intel.

As early as 2022, the Republic replaced the United States as the world's largest electronic product consumer market.

If Terr is driven out of the Republic's consumer market by "Huaxin", he will be not far from the end of the world.

Commercial wars have smoke of gunpowder and will not bleed, but they are even more cruel than wars filled with smoke of gunpowder and blood and fire.

General Motors went bankrupt, hundreds of American workers were unemployed, hundreds of thousands of American families lost their source of living, and relied on receiving government relief funds. The US automobile industry suffered a heavy blow. If the US government had not introduced trade protection policies, even the domestic market would have been completely lost. If Intel went bankrupt, it would at least cause tens of thousands of workers involved in the production of commercial processors and millions of employees in related industries, causing tens of thousands of American families to lose their source of living; it would have severely damaged the US semiconductor production industry. Unless the US government once again fought a trade war with countries around the world, no one could prevent commercial processors produced from the assembly line of the Republic's semiconductor factory into thousands of households in the United States.

In order to allow the president and Congress to provide more aid, Intel asked Rand to make a forecast report in 2026.

The report clearly states that in order to preserve the US semiconductor industry, the US federal government must provide approximately US$1,500 in aid loans to major US semiconductor production groups, including Intel, to invest about 5c0 yuan in scientific research funds in semiconductor-related technical fields, such as silk-meter-level production technology, and to invest no less than 1 yuan in future computer technologies such as quantum computers, neural network computers.

Because this is a forecast report commissioned by a private enterprise, there is not much persuasion.

At the end of 2026, the US federal government and Congress commissioned the "International Strategic Institute" and the "Future Development Institute" to each make a similar assessment report. The two reports are not much different, and both proposed that in order to preserve the semiconductor industry, the United States must invest 1500,200 c in related aspects, of which the various aid funds provided to Intel must not be less than 500 yuan.

In the 2027 fiscal budget, the US federal government provided Intel with 3c0 yuan in the name of funding scientific research. According to the bill revised by the US Congress, Intel will also provide 300 to 500 yuan of "scientific research funds" if necessary.

As soon as this news came out, news media around the world exclaimed, believing that the United States would fight a commercial war with the Republic.

Although the Republic has not expressed its attitude on related issues, nor has it responded in a targeted manner, and does not seem to be willing to fight a commercial war with the United States, the outside world does not know that the Republic has invested hundreds of billions of scientific research funds in future computer technologies such as quantum computers, neural network computers, etc. With Wang Yuanqing's character, as long as the United States interferes excessively in "business competition", the Republic will definitely take tit-for-tat measures.

One person, two companies, pushes two countries to the brink of confrontation.

It has to be admitted that Wang Yuanshan lit a fuse.

Before taking office, Wang Yuanqing asked the Military Intelligence Bureau to investigate Wang Yuanshan's background specifically. At that time, Wang Yuanqing was likely to have been deliberately arranged by Wang Yuanshan by Taiwan or the United States. After careful investigation, the Military Intelligence Bureau ruled out the possibility of Wang Yuanshan serving the United States, but found more unknown things.

It is precisely because Wang Yuanqing took advantage of the opportunity of the "Cross-Strait Exchange Seminar" and introduced by Wang Yuanshan to hold an informal meeting with the Taiwanese leaders. This move more or less established Wang Yuanshan's identity and status as the number one Taiwanese businessman, and also affirmed Wang Yuanshan's contribution to cross-strait exchanges.

For the subtle cross-strait relations, how much role can a businessman like Wang Yuanshan play? (To be continued,)
