Section 287: Before the end of the competition (3)

Marin felt like he had a headache - just now he was chatting with Faye, and the next second he fell asleep, and when he woke up, he was already sitting on a bench next to the street.

Strange city ruins, empty at dusk.

Standing up, Marin walked through the streets. In some areas where the buildings were still intact, Marin discovered very keenly that these areas formed an arc, and he was on the inside of the arc.

Marin carefully walked a few dozen meters further inside, and saw melted streets and twisted ruins... This should be the world after nuclear war, it should be the era of great destruction, on this planet.

The Creators eventually destroyed each other.

Pity the innocent people on this entire planet.

Looking at the small shadow on the wall, Marin sighed in his heart.

Then he heard the sound of stones rolling down and turned around. Marin saw a naked, skinny but pot-bellied... humanoid creature.

It can no longer be called a human being. Its entire body is hairless, and its ugly body is covered with broken skin, exposing the flesh and blood underneath.

Marin was standing in front of it, but this miserable creature seemed not to notice Marin. It sniffed around, using its hands and feet to get farther and farther away from Marin.

Marin stretched out his hand and found that his hand passed through the twisted street lamp.

Spirit body?

With such doubts, Marin simply followed the monster. The closer he got to the center of the explosion, the more Marin could feel the distortion in the air. Perhaps the explosion of large energy tore the gap between the planes, making the world

There was contact in sub-subspace, which ultimately changed everything in this world.

Marin saw this skinless monster and watched it finally find a big rat from the ruins... just like the giant rat Marin saw at Castle Carter.

The monster bit the mouse and walked quickly through the ruins until he turned over a ruin. Marin saw a small family among the ruins that had not completely collapsed - a female similar to this monster, almost

There were cubs. They had no fire and just ate the mouse alive.

Marin looked at all this and suddenly understood why the old-era ladders of the Sage Sequence kept secrets about the Old Era from outsiders who were not in the Sage Sequence.

Because looking at this tragic scene, even people like them can't bear it, and people from the past like Marin will also feel a trace of sadness.

Thinking of this, Marin turned and left.

Walking through the streets, Marin quickly noticed a place that looked like a subway entrance.

Marin walked down, passed through the half-open iron plate, and passed through the steps full of bone fragments. Marin saw a platform that looked like a ticket gate. There were broken bones everywhere. As he went down, broken bones appeared everywhere.

The bones were even piled up.

Marin did not go down any further. He passed through a door full of rust marks. This door blocked out everything outside, so in this small room, a skeleton sat in front of a small table with a tea set on the table.

There was still some dark tea foam in the long-dried tea cup.

There are two chairs beside him, and there is also a skeleton on the left one. These two people seemed to have been poisoned to death, and there is also a skeleton with a hole on the side of the skull, combined with what looks like a gun that is smashed into a ball on the ground.

It smells like wasteland.

Marin thought of this and lowered his body to pick up the weapon. When he was about to come into contact with the thing, a warning from himself made Marin stop. When he turned around, he saw the Chaos Horror on the metal door.

This Chaos Horror seemed to be able to confirm the existence of Marin, but it seemed unable to see Marin who was close at hand. This made Marin frown, so Marin turned around, lowered his body to face the Horror, and

When he put his hand close to the firearm, the fear monster suddenly howled as if he saw Marin.

Then Marin quickly stopped his hand, and the fearful demon was immediately stunned for a moment, as if Marin disappeared from his sight.

It looked at the room carefully. Marin was thinking whether the Chaos Horror was performing, but when he walked through the wall, he found that the Horror was still blocking the door - attracted by its howling, its companions

They rushed down, but no one found Marin. They rushed into the small room together and tore it into pieces.

Marin returned to the ground. For some reason, he returned to his small home, only to find that the family had been torn apart.

Standing next to the smallest cub, watching it lose half of its body, watching it finally stop whimpering.

Marin took a deep breath.

Then, as if something was ignited, Marin looked at the ruins on the left. The fear demons seemed to have discovered themselves again. They climbed over the ruins and charged towards Marin, but finally they were almost ten meters away from Marin.

When it reaches rice, it starts to ignite itself and eventually turns into fly ash.

Marin felt that his spiritual energy was fully activated. He looked to the other side and saw a faceless humanoid in a blue robe charging towards him.

Marin raised his hand, and his psychic energy hit the chaos in an instant like a tide. In the next second, the chaos directly turned into fly ash, without even the stage of spontaneous combustion.

Is this the era of great destruction? The invasion was far before historical records. The history we have seen before may also be false.

So, the question is, who saved the world.

When Marin asked himself, he noticed the smell coming from the distance and stepped onto the ruins. Marin saw humans walking through the ruins.

They wore close-fitting full-coverage armor and held cold weapons and hot weapons in their hands. The leader raised his hands when Marin appeared.

It's like discovering Marin.

Marin couldn't understand what they said at all, but it didn't matter. Through the psychic link, Marin quickly understood what he said.

"Heroic Spirit."

He called himself that. Marin was silent for a moment, and finally shook his head: "I'm not." He said.

But his voice could reach this man's ears, and he turned to look at his companion: "Don't alarm him, he is not our enemy."

Finally, they left around Marin.

Are these the survivors?

Marin watched them finally disappear among the ruins.

The next second, Marin felt himself becoming lighter.

Then Marin woke up.

I found myself in Maya's arms, surrounded by the sound of girls breathing. The night sky outside the window was extremely bright. Through the screen window, I could see the outline of the moon, which was a very round moon.

Is it a dream?

Marin was a little confused, and then a little strange - he didn't even touch the edge of the sage, how could he dive deep into the subspace and return to the ancient era of great destruction.

How about...ask Mrs. Anna or some other knowledgeable person tomorrow?

Then it's settled.

With this thought, Marin fell asleep again.

………………

"Has that damn painting changed?!" Zem Meyer shouted to his assistant Jiaxi Sheringham as soon as he opened the door - that damn painting was just given away two days ago.

A great being in the mechanical realm has not lived a happy life for two days. Today, news came that the content of the era of great destruction appeared on the painting.

Zem's first thought was to draw how far away from Marin it was.

Then it was confirmed that Marin was in the annex, at least fifteen kilometers away from the painting.

Then new news came - the painting's condition had improved.

The entire department building had turned into chaos before, but when Zem opened the door, he found that there was only a very small breath of chaos.

"No more." Jiaxi said as he stood up and threw a lead helmet to Zem: "We need to check the room to see if Chaos has distorted those dangerous objects."

"Oh my god, can I still see the sun tomorrow?" Zem put on his helmet, took the shotgun thrown by his teammates, drank a bottle of holy water as he walked through the entrance of the corridor, and took another bottle

Fell on his head.

In front of the greedy doll's holding room, through the window, Zem saw the doll leaving its chair again, but this time it was hidden under the chair.

"She's afraid..." Jiaxi was a little confused.

"Yeah, why would it be afraid of Chaos?" Zem was very strange, but anyway it could know how to be afraid, so the group of people came to the second room.

In Zem's imagination, the living dagger should now be in the hands of the observer in the room, who was desperately cutting his own wrist.

But the reality is that it's motionless on the mat.

"Strange, shouldn't it feel that the chaotic atmosphere should be more active?"

As Zem spoke, he walked into the room with his gun raised. He asked the guard in charge: "Are you okay?"

"It's okay, sir...and can you move the muzzle of the gun a little bit, sir?"

Zem nodded and exited the room.

Next up is This is the Magic Mirror's Room.

"It didn't ask any questions today, sir," said the staff member responsible for guarding the magic mirror.

"That's great." Zem nodded and was about to exit the room when he heard the sharp smile of the magic mirror: "That's because you are too stupid! You loser!"

Zem waited for a moment and found that the magic mirror really didn't ask any questions, so he exited the room.

At the same time, I sprayed a whole bottle of salt soda on the damn mirror.

Arriving at the last door, Zem knocked on the door, and then a little child opened the door inside.

"Miller, are you okay?" Zem asked, looking at the child in front of him.

The child in the room shook his head: "Is it safe here for you? Do I need to leave for a few days?" When the child said this, he looked towards the other side of the corridor with a horrified look.

Zem turned to look at Jiaxi, while his assistant asked Miller: "Why do you want to leave here."

"Because it's too dangerous." After the child finished speaking, he started crying: "It's much scarier than Mr. Robot last time, sir."

Zem and Jiaxi looked at each other and finally replied in unison: "You don't have to leave, it's already safe there."

As soon as they said this, they heard a scream from the other side of the corridor. They ran over and found that there was a small human figure in the painting.

There was also Miller's cry from the other side of the corridor.
