Chapter 1 Destined

The sky was filled with snow, and the originally prosperous capital began to become bleak. As winter began, there were not many pedestrians on the streets. However, on the seventh day of the twelfth lunar month, many people were watching the fun appeared on the deserted streets.

The prince’s wedding.

White snow and red lanterns, red silk and red candles complement each other.

After nightfall, the prince's mansion was still lively and he kept drinking, but the groom returned to the room first because of his drunkenness. Because of his status, no one dared to make a bridal chamber.

...

Chai Qingyue felt her head drowsy, as if she had fallen into an endless nightmare. A huge monster threw her down, pressed her on her body, and licked her cheeks with her tongue, as if she was teasing before eating people.

Chai Qingyue struggled hard, but her body was soft and weak without any strength. She couldn't raise her hand at all. She could only watch the monster get closer and closer to her. The monster's breathing was very hot, as if it was about to burn her whole body. She was so hot that she felt like something was about to move in her body.

Her body trembled slightly, and then she woke up.

The purpose was dazzling and thick red, and the bright red bed curtain was blown by the wind blowing in from the window cracks... Chai Qingyue suddenly felt hot and heavy, and then she moved her eyes and saw a man wearing a middle garment pressing on her!

"Who are you!" Chai Qingyue struggled hard, pushed the man away with all her strength, then rolled out of the bed, opened the distance between herself and the man, and looked at him with caution.

The man was not embarrassed at all, but instead picked up the black long gown next to the big red wedding dress and put it on. He strolled towards Chai Qingyue, looked over with a sharp and cold look, lifted Chai Qingyue up with one hand, and said coldly: "I am your husband, Murong Sichen." As he spoke, his body exuded the majesty of the superior and the strong sense of oppression, which almost made Chai Qingyue breathless.

She grew up in the market and rarely met noble people in normal times. Although she was not afraid of showing her fear, she could not bear the pressure of those who were promoted.

"You... are you the prince?" Chai Qingyue was shocked and suspicious.

It was not until this time that Chai Qingyue's mind was completely awake. Yes, it was the prince and Murong Sichen.

Because of the prophecy of a Taoist priest, her life was disrupted and changed drastically. She was unwilling to marry the prince, but she was accidentally knocked out by the people in the palace and still got into the sedan chair.

Murong Sichen was also looking at his Crown Princess.

Her appearance is barely visible, with fair skin, dark eyebrows, almond eyes, and a flower on her forehead looks like a blooming peony. Her cheeks are covered with makeup, making her clear appearance more charming and pretty.

But when Murong Sichen thought of what the Taoist said in Yonghe Hall that day, he became angry.

"Your Majesty, the destined Red Luan Star of the Prince is the daughter of the teacher in Shangwen Private School in the capital. This girl is born with a noble life and can help the prince expand his territory..." The Taoist priest held the rag painted with astrological signs.

What destiny!

But this is the sorrow of being born in the imperial family. Even though Murong Sichen did not want to marry this woman he had never met, he still had to obey his father's wishes, one for his son's filial piety and the other for his loyalty and righteousness.

"It seems you still don't understand the rules." Murong Sichen said in a deep voice, throwing Chai Qingyue on the bed, and then bullied her.

Chai Qingyue was panicked and remembered that there were many rules in the royal family, so I couldn’t just call you, but I wanted to talk to Your Highness. I couldn’t refuse my husband’s request to be happy... After thinking about this, Chai Qingyue almost did everything wrong.

She held back the pain on her body and said to Murong Sichen: "Your Highness, the young lady is just the guilty, but for today's day of our joy, would you spare me this time?"

Murong Sichen looked at Chai Qingyue under her. Her eyes were clear and clever, and she was just looking at something that was going to be a fool.

"Serve this palace." Murong Sichen pinched Chai Qingyue's chin.

"No." Chai Qingyue responded. Her eyes were watery, as if there was a pool of clear streams flowing there, making people feel like there was a bright light in their hearts when they saw it. It was hard not to believe her.

Chai Qingyue turned over and let Murong Sichen lie beside her. Then she gently pinched Murong Sichen's shoulder, but a few silver needles fell from her sleeve. As the massage intensity increased, the silver needle was not obvious when it penetrated.

"Your Highness?" Chai Qingyue called softly.

The red curtains and red candles were filled with beautiful rooms, but Murong Sichen gradually became sleepy, but only Chai Qingyue's eyes were particularly clear. Murong Sichen closed his eyes heavily. Chai Qingyue tried several times again, and then she got up gently and sat at the desk after confirming that Murong Sichen was asleep.

For a moment, I had a lot of thoughts.

She was a person who had a marriage contract. She met her father's student Qin Changyong since she was a child. Later, she fell in love slowly and made a lifelong promise in private. She only waited for Qin Changyong to get fame and fortune before she came to marry her.

She didn't wait for Qin Changyong, but she waited for a book of imperial edicts.

Just because of the Taoist priest's words, she was given a marriage to the crown prince Murong Sichen by the emperor and became his crown princess.

"Changyong: I saw the word "is like a face", and I couldn't help but marry Murong Sichen due to the imperial edict. I knew I had no fate with you, and I just hoped that I would grow old together in the next life......"

Chai Qingyue knew that after she disappeared and became the crown princess, Qin Changyong would be anxious to find her, and even hate her betrayal... So she had to explain it to him first, even if she had no chance in this life, she hoped that the person she loved would not hate her.

The swaying candlelight stretched out Chai Qingyue's thin back. She sat alone by the table in front of the window, gently put down her pen, opened the window, whistled gently, and a carrier pigeon came. She tied the written note to the carrier pigeon and then let the carrier pigeon go.

Maybe it was too focused, maybe it was too sad, and even helpless and disgusted with the emperor's fate, so Chai Qingyue didn't notice that there was a shadow behind her. Until she finished all this and was about to go to bed - Murong Sichen was still lying in her original place to sleep.

"Sorry, you and I can't help but... I shouldn't blame you." Chai Qingyue said softly, and then covered Murong Sichen with a happy quilt embroidered with mandarin ducks.

The night is getting darker.

Murong Sichen half supported himself and looked at Chai Qingyue who was already asleep, with a deep look.

The picture just now seemed to be still imprinted in his mind.

The woman in a bright red wedding dress sat in front of the window, holding a pen to write a farewell letter to her lover. The moonlight shone in, and the light and darkness were uncertain. He thought this woman was a cunning and a little clever but very happy person.

But the letter she wrote just now and what she said before going to bed made Murong Sichen feel a little confused.

"You are pretending, but you are still like this in nature." Murong Sichen asked in his heart. He looked at Chai Qingyue's harmless and sweet sleeping face, and a smile unconsciously raised the corner of his mouth. In the deep palace, it has been a long time since I saw such an interesting person.
