10 - Night falls

I don’t know how long it took, but my body began to regain consciousness. I felt the pain of needle-punching on my scalp and opened my eyes with great effort. There was a thick layer of fog in front of me. I couldn’t tell the difference, and I could only condense a strong darkness in my field of view. I squeezed my eyes hard, and there was another dizziness. The strong nausea caused by dizziness was almost vomiting. I moaned lightly and had to close my eyes again.

"How are you?"

I felt the touch of someone else's palm behind me. I sat up with my feelings and combined with his strength. In a trance, my body was moved a few more times. Then the man gently pushed me away, and the cold temperature of the wall came from behind, which seemed to make me lean against the wall.

I held my forehead with my hand and took a few deep breaths. Then I opened my eyes again, but I still couldn't observe the appearance around me - I was in the deep and thick darkness that broke my eyes and couldn't see the edges. Heavy darkness filled the surroundings, as if I was in the abyss of hell.

I reached out and touched the top of my head, and touched the dried and scabbed blood clot from my left forehead. As soon as I touched the pain, I shrank my neck and almost hit the person who had just helped me up. The man stood beside me, looked up and saw that it was Lin Fuyi. I didn't know what was going on, so I looked at him with doubt.

Next, I felt even more confused, deeply confused. After my eyes got used to the darkness, I found that besides me and Lin Fuyi, there were actually many other people around me, and there were as many as seven or eight. Most of these people shrank, their expressions were low, and they sat around scattered. Someone noticed that I woke up and looked here.

This confusion not only comes from the sudden appearance of so many unknown people sitting around, but also because no matter Lin Fuyi or the people in front of me, there was no sign of being bound. At the first moment I woke up, I thought Lin Fuyi and I were kidnapped by Li Peng. But now when I calmed down, I saw that the current situation was obviously different from what I imagined.

We were attacked, and there is no doubt about it, but who are these people? Why are we here? Where is this?

I tried to stand up and look around. It was still very dark. Apart from the moonlight cut into fragments, I could hardly see anything else. But judging from the distance of the moonlight on the ground and the depth of the darkness around it, it was very spacious.

Looking upwards, under the dark mist at the height, there are small windows at about three stories high, and wooden boards are nailed. No wonder this place is so dark. The whole place is very large and empty, but there are very few doors and windows, small and high, and they are sealed. The moonlight is also one by one, so it is certainly impossible to have enough light. The only light in the house is the white frost reflected in through the high windows. Through the windows, you can vaguely see the moon hanging high. It is already late at night.

I stood up and looked around, and found a door behind me. I twisted it hard and didn't have the handle. The handle didn't move as if it was welded to the door and couldn't open it at all. I probably guessed it would be like this before I reached out and touched it, otherwise so many people wouldn't have given up and kept it away.

"Is this...?"

"It seems that we have been attacked and we are already in this place when we wake up." Lin Fuyi's tone was particularly calm.

"After I fainted, you didn't escape?"

"Yeah." Lin Fuyi shrugged helplessly.

"Damn you are too unaware of your vigilance. I was knocked down first. I gave you a warning and you didn't even run away?"

Lin Fuyi looked at you as if you were embarrassed to say, "You told me that it's okay outside. I just found something useful in the photo and was about to look carefully. I felt that someone came in behind me and I thought it was you. As a result, I was knocked out the next second."

"Okay..." paused, "that means I didn't see the prisoner's face?"

“It’s a pity, no.”

After a moment of silence, I asked again, "What are these people?"

"I don't know yet, I woke up not long ago. But I can be sure that it is not a prisoner." Then I raised my chin and said, "Look at what they look like." I glanced around again and nodded. These people were either as scared as me or as unhappy as Lin Fuyi. It seems that 80% of them were forced to get this ghost place.

"Tsk...what is the situation..." I sighed and said, "How long have we been in this place?" I couldn't help but reread the word "this".

“14 hours.”

“Eh?”

Lin Fuyi said, it was not a big deal to take out something with dazzling light from his pocket, but at this time, it was very strange - Lin Fuyi took out his cell phone. The time on the cell phone clearly showed that it was eleven o'clock in the evening.

I was also busy searching for my pocket, but the phone was still there. But unexpectedly, what was disappointing was that there was no signal. I looked through my pocket, keys, wallets, and nothing was missing.

This strange feeling hurts my heart like a fishbone stuck in my throat - I was kidnapped, but my mobile phone and other items were all on me. The people who kidnapped us did not literally bind us, took away our property, and did not take away the mobile phones we might use to ask for help.

Is this what kidnappers do?

"It has been 14 hours since we arrived at Yan Xinmei's room, and more than 12 hours of which we were sleeping. Normal fainting is not serious enough." Lin Fuyi rolled up his sleeves, turned his cell phone to his arms, and illuminated a needle eye that was still slightly red. "We were given anesthetic."

"Those guys were here when you woke up?"

"Well, I've talked to them when you fainted. These people were all kidnapped during the day. We have investigated this place once, and it was an abandoned factory. I didn't find a way out. All of them were blocked. Everyone is resting."

When I heard this, I couldn't help but frown, "That's to say that everyone was kidnapped together?" I reiterated in disbelief, "So many people together?"

Lin Fuyi nodded, "The prisoner caught so many people in one go, and he still let us act freely without fear. He didn't bother to search the things he carried with him, which means that Lin Fuyi's tone was heavy. "No matter what the prisoner's purpose is, this kidnapping, this collective kidnapping is an organized and planned action. Be careful, it is absolutely not simple."

I was stunned and half open my mouth, unable to digest the rapid changes in the situation. The ominous feeling became increasingly strong, and another shadow was cast in my heart.

After sitting for a while, I felt my body gradually recovering from consciousness, so I stood up and walked around the factory to investigate the surrounding situation.

Within a few minutes, the ignorant feeling gradually became a real conviction.

In the dark factory, the long operation assembly line is varied, and there are steel platforms for walking, steel pillars are everywhere, and many unknown large machines that are taller than people.

However, they are not all simple and ordinary.

There was a place on the steel platform that seemed to be hit by a heavy object and broke from the middle. The sharp and deformed iron tips of the fangs and claws were bent at the break. The place where the heavy object landed, should be where the heavy object landed. The ground that was hit hard was cracked but the body of the heavy object was not visible. The ground with spider web patterns was covered with radial blood traces that seemed to have been squeezed and burst. It seemed that the things that had fallen and the things that were squeezed out were all packed, leaving only these traces of these behaviors that had happened.

The machine knife for the cutting assembly line was stuck with blood and minced flesh, and the tool hammer was thrown on the ground at will. For some reason, a piece of hammer head was shrunk. There were several scars of weapons on the wall a few meters beside me. The scars were long and thin, and the wounds were smooth and neat. You could see at a glance that it was caused by the blade slashing on the wall, and there were also bloodstains.

I looked carefully at the scars on the wall. When I walked closer and picked it up, it turned out to be a fragment of a Japanese knife as big as a nail. I frowned and reached out to touch the tip of the fragment twice. The cold blade was sticky, which was the touch of skin tissue and human body fat. I threw it away in disgust, and unconsciously stepped back two parts, feeling that I almost kicked something. I looked down and looked at it. It was a human finger.

The nausea could no longer be suppressed, so I quickly turned around and went back. There was no need to investigate more, just that was enough.

I suppressed the delusions that were constantly going on in my heart, returned to the crowd, and planned to talk to these people and collect some useful information.

There were seven people sitting in the dark. A middle-aged woman dressed in frugality and had a little faded and looked old, three young girls dressed in students, a young man with short hair, jeans and leather jacket, whose hair was hard, straight, and full of ruffianity. There was also a man in a high-end suit with glasses and a well-tailored clothes, and an uncle with a ragged dress, who looked like a homeless man. The man and the uncle were two extremes.

At first glance, the young man in leather clothes, who stood the farthest from us, seemed to be leaning against the darkness and standing in the air, but when he looked carefully, there was a dark iron pillar behind him, which had merged with the darkness. Like the place he had just investigated, there were many similar iron pillars, thick or thin, distributed nearby. Looking up along the pillars, these pillars high support the huge and heavy steel platform above.

These pillars alone are six or seven meters high, and the ceiling may be about three floors high. There are various modern electrical equipment on the platform, each of which is full of size. It is believed that when power is turned on, it will rumbling.

Then there were four women on the side. The three younger girls were obviously quite frightened, as if they were stuck together, one sitting next to the other on a paper case that they got from somewhere. The three of them each grabbed other people's hands and kept comforting each other softly.

The remaining woman with a very sallow face and looks very old, was also very close to the three of them. She looked soaring at her forties. She sat very close to the three girls, and looked nervous. She seemed to be shaking her body slightly due to her restlessness, and rubbed her right hand back and forth on the watch on her left wrist.

"How is it, are you all okay? Are you seriously injured?"

The three girls exchanged their eyes, and no one talked for a long time, and looked at me with great vigilance.

"Who are you?" A girl wearing glasses spoke first.

"Like you, you are also the victims of the attack."

"You're injured."

"Well? Can you tell?"

The girl with glasses pointed to her forehead and cheeks.

I raised my hand and looked at my face. I touched the dry blood marks at the same position. The blood was very long, covering half of my side face. When I thought of what happened this morning, I felt a chill in my heart.

I took a deep breath: "Where are you, isn't it?"

"Nothing bad."

The girl with long hair in the middle, with only a strand of dyed red in the long hair said. The other two girls nodded frequently.

"Have you noticed the appearance or appearance of the prisoner? What is the location and time of being arrested?" While I was speaking, I turned to face the aunt, glanced at the four people at the same time, and signaled to tell them to the four of them at the same time.

"I clearly remember it was at noon today, on the way home. I was walking well. Suddenly I was strangled from behind and my mouth was blocked by a wet cloth. I couldn't scream, but I opened my eyes and was already here." The right-handed spoke, but the more I spoke, the more aggrieved and choked, and I was about to cry. The woman in glasses quickly stood up and sat next to him, hugged her gently, and leaned her head on her shoulder.

"I'm the same, it's just around nine o'clock in the morning." The voice of the glasses woman was much calmer in comparison. "I was kidnapped near Dongxing Street at that time."

"I'm on the other side of Xingguang Street." Liu Jun rushed to say that several girls said they were all caught by drugs.

"I, I am Xingsheng Village..." The aunt also said as if she was talking to her voice.

After listening, my heart became heavier - at 9 o'clock in the morning, Dongxing Street. It was almost the same as when Lin Fuyi and I were attacked, but the geographical location was more than ten kilometers apart. Others were in a similar situation, and Xingsheng Village was even outside the city. Lin Fuyi was right. The victims of the entire kidnapping operation were spread all over the city, so there must be premeditated and organized actions - what exactly did the prisoner want to do? What was the purpose? Why did he do it?

I tried to think a little, and I had a headache. I gritted my teeth and asked again

"If you could know the prisoner's appearance, even a little bit of characteristics, didn't you notice it?"

"Everything happened so quickly that I didn't have the chance to see the prisoner, right! I remember the fingers I grabbed at that time were very rough, and it was indeed a man!"

"Didn't you see Tong Ling?" A wisp of black red suddenly said without any warning.

The glasses girl Ling was surprised, "Liu Jun, have you seen it?"

"kindness."

"What's the specific situation? Let's talk about it." I couldn't wait to urge.

"I went home by shortcuts at that time, and because I was a little remote, I deliberately looked back and saw if there were any suspicious people following me. I continued to be sure of safety. The prisoner who attacked me at that time was not initiated from behind like you.

I walked to the depths of the alley and saw a corner coming out of the street, suddenly a person emerged from the darkness of the corner, came from my left and threw me down - I saw the prisoner's appearance, and although it was only a moment, I did see it."

"Then the prisoner—"

"Wang Lian is right, the prisoner is a man. He is very old and has wrinkles on his face, wearing ill-fitting fat clothes, very sloppy, a vulgar and dirty uncle, just like-"

Liu Jun said, his eyes slowly turning to the homeless man sitting on the ground not far away.

I was stunned, witnessed the prisoner and pointed out that it was someone among us. This was a remarkable thing. I couldn't help but glance at the uncle and asked in a low voice, "Can you be sure?"

Liu Jun opened his mouth and was about to speak, but suddenly a shout came from behind.

"Didn't I say don't play with your phone?"

Suddenly, a word came out of nowhere, and then there were starry lights hanging in the darkness in the same direction, approaching us. At the same time, accompanied by a pair of footsteps that were a bit too crisp, the sound of high heels.

Everyone heard the sound and looked over, and as they approached, the stars grew louder. Another sentence came, "These electricity is very precious to our current situation."

The words were said to Lin Fuyi, and Lin Fuyi smiled and turned off the light in his hand.

The light gradually progressed, and it turned out that there were three people, two men and one woman, among which the woman holding the flashlight and the man standing beside her were walking side by side, holding a flashlight. The two men who were hitting the head showed calmness and determination, and I recognized them at a glance.
