"Well, I won't beat around the bush. Today I am here, I came for the soul of Maitreya Buddha!" ​​Nodded slightly, and Buddha Tathagata said directly with a single sword.

"The soul of Maitreya Buddha?" However, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, who heard this, looked at Tathagata Buddha with a confused look on his face.

Looking at the expression of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, the Buddha Tathagata frowned slightly and said, "Maitreya Buddha has died, don't you not know about this?"

This answer made the Buddha Tathagata frown even deeper, and then asked: "Is this impossible? Maitreya Buddha has already died. Logically speaking, his soul should have come to the Dizang Cave at this time, right? How could you not know about his death?"

"Report to the Buddha, the soul of Maitreya Buddha did not come to the Dizang Cave. Otherwise, how could I not know that he had died?" Hearing this, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva shook his head and said.

This time, the face of Buddha Tathagata became very ugly: "Impossible! You are in charge of all the reincarnation of immortals and gods in the world. If Maitreya Buddha died, his soul will inevitably come to your cave of Ksitigarbha. How could you not know?"

"I really don't know what's going on!" Hearing the Tathagata Buddha's words, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva felt more and more wronged and spoke.

"What's going on?" Seeing the appearance of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, it was not like making a false statement, and the heart of the Buddha Tathagata fell.

Sometimes when doing business, you are not afraid of the other party’s price being high, but you are afraid of the other party not wanting to sell, so you don’t even need to open the price!

Similarly, when Maitreya Buddha died, he came to catch his soul, and the Buddha Tathagata had actually made some corresponding psychological preparations in his heart.

However, I didn’t know that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva didn’t even mean to offer a price.

Frowning, the Buddha Tathagata said nothing. Naturally, in front of the Buddha Tathagata, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva lowered his head slightly, and he also looked like he did not say a word.

For a moment, both sides became much quieter.

In this way, after about half a stick of incense was silent, the Buddha Tathagata still looked at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva with some reluctance and said, "If you want a higher price, this matter is not something that cannot be discussed!"

"It's not that I don't want to give you the soul of Maitreya Buddha. It's really the soul of Maitreya Buddha, it's not in my hands!" Hearing the words of Buddha Tathagata, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva really felt so wronged that he was almost crying.

As if afraid that the Buddha Tathagata would not believe in him, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva followed and said seriously: "I swear in the name of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva that if the soul of Maitreya Buddha arrived at the Ksitigarbha Cave and I deliberately said nothing, such a lie will cause me to go to the hell of tongue-pulling and torture in hell!"

After all this, Buddha Tathagata naturally believed in the words of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

But the question arises again. If the soul of Maitreya Buddha really did not come to the Dizang Cave, then where would his soul go?

If the immortals and Buddhas die, shouldn’t the souls come to this Ksitigarbha Cave?

"Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Maitreya Buddha, has indeed died. This is a fact, but since his soul has not come here, do you know why this situation occurs?" After a moment of silence, the Buddha Tathagata spoke and asked Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

"This..." Hearing the question from the Buddha of Tathagata, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva also showed a thoughtful look at the right time, obviously thinking about the possibility of all this.

The Buddha Tathagata stared at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva without saying anything, waiting for his answer.

After a full incense stick of silence, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva did not speak anymore, and Tathagata Buddha did not speak either.

But at this moment, suddenly, a flash of inspiration flashed in the mind of Buddha Tathagata and thought of something.

"Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, as far as I know, when the Dragon King of Jinghe died, his soul did not come to your Ksitigarbha cave, right? He became a lonely ghost. Do you know why the soul of the Dragon King of Jinghe was like this?" Buddha Tathagata asked Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

Yes, wasn’t the situation of the Dragon King of Jinghe before just an accident? Although I felt that it was very likely that the Jade Emperor removed the Dragon King of Jinghe from the Immortal Talisman at the critical moment, this was just his own guess after all, and I didn’t know the specific facts.

Could it be that what Maitreya Buddha encountered was the same as what the Dragon King of Jinghe was encountered?

In fact, what is the soul of the Dragon King of Jinghe? Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva himself knows it.

The soul of the Dragon King of Jinghe was indeed in his hands, but in the end he let the soul of the Dragon King of Jinghe was let go.

But what happened to the soul of Maitreya Buddha? Why didn’t it come to his own hands? Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva really doesn’t understand.

Of course, it is impossible for Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to say this about the Dragon King of Jinghe.

Therefore, after a little silence, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva spoke, "If you want to say that the soul of Maitreya Buddha did not come to my hands, there are only a few possibilities!"

"Oh? What are the possibilities? Let's talk about it!" Hearing this, the Buddha Tathagata asked and asked.

"First of all, that is, Maitreya Buddha was not dead at all, or he was resurrected as soon as he died, so his soul did not come to me!"

"Second, that is, Maitreya Buddha is no longer a member of the immortals and Buddhas, and he quietly left the Buddhist sect. Therefore, after he died, the dead soul did not come to me!"

"Third, that is, for example, some possibilities, some possibilities that I can't think of either..."

"Yes!" After hearing these words from Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Tathagata Buddha thought about it and nodded in agreement.

Indeed, theoretically speaking, the words of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva do make sense.

But, Maitreya Buddha was not dead? Or was he immediately resurrected after his death?

Buddha Tathagata knew this was impossible because the body of Maitreya Buddha is still in Donglai Temple.

Secondly, does not belong to Buddhists?

As the lord of Buddhism, of course I know this is impossible!

So, are there only other possibilities?

"So, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva thinks, what other possibilities are the greatest?" After pondering for a while, then, the Buddha Tathagata asked Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva again.

"I think I will definitely get the answer if I ask Xuanzang about this matter!" I think? Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva thinks it should be like this.

Of course, in this case, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva would not say it out loud.

I think? This may be destined in the dark!" Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva thought for a while and replied.

"The way of heaven runs, and it's endless. It's important to escape, and everything is left with a thread."

"For example, the Dragon and Phoenix Tribulation, Dragon, Phoenix, and Kirin tribes have strong ones to survive! In the battle of the Lich, there are strong ones to survive in the two tribes!"

"Then, there must be a surprise in this cycle of reincarnation of the immortals and Buddhas, right?"
