Chapter nine hundred and ninety-eight, on Lingshan

Sha Wujing smiled and said, "Master, Senior Brother is right."

Zhu Bajie sighed and said, "I don't know which thief is so bold that he dares to steal the Buddha's golden body at the foot of Lingshan. He really wants money but doesn't have to live!"

Sun Wukong took out a banana, peeled it and ate it, and said casually: "Don't think it must be done by Buddhism. Outsiders can't enter India at all, let alone stealing the statue of the Buddha's golden body."

Tang Sanzang sighed and said, "It seems that Lingshan is not peaceful! It is not as good as the little master said." He shook his head and sighed.

A knock on the door came from outside. Sha Wujing got up and walked forward, opened the door, and a middle-aged monk stood outside.

The middle-aged monk put his hands together and bowed, saying, "The Lord of Lingshan has arrived, and I will ask several holy monks to come with the little monk to pay homage."

Tang Sanzang stood up in surprise, put on his ripped brocade robe, and hurriedly said, "Advisors, all of them wear robes and go to see the Buddha with their master."

"Yes~" Sun Wukong and others laughed and started to wear cassocks.

The little monk in front of the door looked at Tang Sanzang's ripped cassock and his mouth twitched twice. Are all monks from the Tang Dynasty in the East Chinatown so poor? They wear a ripped cassock to pay homage to the Buddha!

After Tang Sanzang finished dressing, he followed the monk through the aisle to the Main Hall.

An old monk stood in the hall, with Buddha light blooming outwards, and a Buddha wheel behind him was sacred and inviolable.

Two rows of monks were kneeling respectfully on both sides of the road outside the hall.

Tang Sanzang walked into the hall, quickly folded his hands and bent down and bowed, and said respectfully: "Tang Sanzang, a monk from the Tang Dynasty, paid homage to the lord!"

The old monk smiled and nodded, saying, "I am the Buddha of the King of Light of Nanwu Baobao. I will come to guide you at the order of the Buddha."

Tang Sanzang said gratefully: "Thank you Buddha!"

Baozhuang King Light Buddha reached out and pointed his hand and said, "You follow me!"

The group of people walked along the avenue to the temple while the monks knelt down and walked out of the temple. A cloud path composed of auspicious clouds stretched down from the sky and went straight to the front of the temple gate.

Tang Sanzang looked at Yun Dao and hesitated to look at the Buddha of the King of Light in Nanwubaobao.

The Buddha, the King of Light of Nanwu Baobao, smiled and said, "Lingshan is not an ordinary land, not in the world, and needs to go from the cloud road."

Tang Sanzang nodded.

Sun Wukong jumped onto the cloud road and urged, "Let's go~ I'll see the Buddha quickly, so we can go back to obtain the scriptures."

Tang Sanzang is now very knowledgeable. He sorted out his ripped cassock, raised his head and walked towards the cloud road. He took a step and immediately fell into the clouds and mist, with a soft feeling, as if he was stepping on a quilt.

The King of Light of Nanwu Baobao Bao smiled slightly and said, "Marson, please roll the curtains~"

Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing smiled and walked over.

The group walked on the cloudy road, surrounded by clouds and mist, and looked down and saw the mountains and ridges and houses.

After walking for a while, a continuous high mountain appeared in the air ahead, and golden light shining in the sun, like a mirage.

The Buddha of the King of Light of Nanwu Baobao pointed to the front and said, "Saint Monk, look at the five colors and auspiciousness of the Buddha in the half day. The one with the five colors and auspiciousness in the past half day is the holy realm of the Buddha of Lingjiu Peak."

Tang Sanzang folded his hands together and bent his knees and bowed to the ground.

Zhu Bajie smiled and said, "Master, it's not time to worship! As the saying goes, I don't know how far away you are from the holy land of Lingshan Mountain when you walk down the mountain. If you go to the mountain, you don't know how many heads you have to bow to!"

Tang Sanzang stood up and said seriously: "I have been a teacher for my whole life. Now I have arrived at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, so why not worship me?"

Baozhuang Light King Buddha said, "Let's keep going!"

The group walked for a long time and finally climbed to the Holy Land of Lingshan. When they walked forward, a river blocked the way. The live water in the river kept flowing, and only a round single-plank bridge spanned the river.

Sun Wukong jumped onto the single-plank bridge and said with a smile: "Little monk, go!"

Tang Sanzang shook his head repeatedly and said in a timid voice: "You are all people with great powers. If you can pass this bridge, how can you walk over the mortal body of the master?"

Sun Wukong laughed and said, "You can go! You can go! Take your left foot first, then your right foot, and you will naturally pass step by step."

Tang Sanzang shook his head and said dissatisfiedly: "You monkey are framed by me again."

Tang Sanzang looked at Baozhuang Guang King Buddha and said, "Buddha! Is there a way for me to cross the river?"

Baozhuang King Light Buddha nodded with a smile and said, "Yes!" He pointed at the side and said, "Look, there is a boat there."

The figure of the Buddha, the King of Light of Baozhuang, flashed into the cabin and said, "Holy monk, how about I come to cross the river?"

Tang Sanzang hurried over and said with a smile: "Amitabha~ Thank you Buddha."

When I walked to the side of the boat and was about to step in, I suddenly found that the boat was actually a bottomless ship, and Baozhuang Light King Buddha was standing on the water.

Tang Sanzang was shocked at first, and then a thought came to his mind, first there was a single-plank bridge and then a bottomless boat. Is this the Buddha tested me? Isn’t dare to walk on the single-plank bridge? If I don’t dare to sit on the bottomless boat, will I not be able to pass the Buddha’s test and can’t get the scriptures?

Tang Sanzang felt a little confused, forgot! Just die! He gritted his teeth and walked directly into the bottomless boat.

Baozhuang Light King Buddha looked at Tang Sanzang in surprise, and he was still a little brave. He originally thought he wanted to persuade him with kind words!

Tang Sanzang walked into the bottomless boat and felt at ease. It was indeed a test, and I did not fall down.

Zhu Bajie smiled and said, "Master, Lao Zhu, let me take a boat with you!"

Sha Wujing carried the load and said with a smile: "I'll come too~"

The little white dragon who had recovered his body stood beside him and smiled and said, "I have never sat on the bottomless boat, let's go together!"

Tang Sanzang, Sha Wujing, Zhu Bajie, and Xiaobailong were riding in the bottomless boat. Sun Wukong walked on the single-plank bridge and the group walked towards the other side.

When he reached the river, Tang Sanzang pointed to the back and screamed, "Then...what is that?"

The few people turned their heads and saw Tang Sanzang, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing, Xiao Bailong, and Sun Wukong following the flow like a dead corpse.

Zhu Bajie laughed and said, "Master, don't be afraid! That's you in the world."

Sun Wukong stood on the single-plank bridge and shouted happily: "It's interesting and interesting~ I've been here in Lingshan several times, but this is the first time I've been to Lingyundu, which is really interesting."

Sha Wujing smiled and said, "That's me~"

Little white dragon pointed at the river and smiled, "That's me."

Baozhuang King Light Buddha sang on a boat: "It is the soul that has escaped from the body, and loves each other. Only when you are full of your life can you become a Buddha and wash away the sixty and six dusts of that year."

Tang Sanzang clasped his hands together and said happily: "Amitabha~"

The ferry was docked steadily on the river bank, and Tang Sanzang got off the boat.
