Chapter 322 Visiting the Temple

Jueming's words shocked the boys on the side. Except for the royal temple, Mingfa Temple has the longest history and has many monks. I have never seen any master invite people to the temple so solemnly.

I accepted the other party's gift simply and generously. Since the other party invited me, it was not bad to go in and visit openly and openly, so I simply nodded and entered Mingfa Temple under Jueming's introduction.

Mingfa Temple is worthy of being the oldest temple in the Imperial Kingdom. The outer walls of the temple are all made of blue bricks. There are also ivy growing along the green brick walls and dotting the walls. It has experienced the wind and rain of the past dynasties and is even more impressive.

Vicissitudes of life and simplicity.

Jueming led Jian Jian to enter directly from the front mountain gate on the middle road. On the way, he called over a young monk who was cleaning the courtyard and asked him to inform the abbot that a senior was visiting.

Entering the Shanmen Hall and passing through the hall, there is a bell tower on the left and a drum tower on the right. The bells and drums echo each other.

Walking through a 50-meter-long section of gravel ground, you will see the Heavenly King's Hall in front of you. In the hall, the four Vajras are enshrined. After passing through the Heavenly King's Hall, you will see the Mahavira Hall in front of you.

The Mahavira Hall is twice the size of the Heavenly King Hall and is huge. It houses the golden statue of Buddha Sakyamuni. The incense in this hall is the most intense. The huge incense burner in front of the hall is filled with Buddhist incense. There are also people kneeling devoutly inside.

Blue-purple light flashed in Jian Jian's eyes, and he saw a trace of power of faith floating from everyone to the golden statue of Buddha, which made people's eyes brighten.

After passing through the Tianwang Hall, we came to the Dharma Hall. Passing through the Dharma Hall is the Buddhist Scripture Pavilion of Mingfa Temple. It is not convenient to visit here, so we were simply invited into a row of monks' rooms on the left.

Simple spiritual consciousness spread out and enveloped the entire Mingfa Temple.

Overlooking the entire temple, it was built along a central axis, echoing from front to back, integrating the core of yin and yang, symmetry, order and stability into it. It is located in the landscape, where mountains, pines and cypresses, flowing water, halls and pavilions cater to each other.

It is subtle and gentle, showing the harmonious and tranquil charm of Buddhism.

Just looking at it makes me feel very comfortable. Buddhism is indeed suitable for cultivating one's moral character and reducing one's murderous spirit.

Entering the monastery, a white-bearded monk wearing white linen robes was waiting for Jian Jian under the Bodhi tree in the courtyard. When he saw Jian Jian from a distance, he clasped his hands together and performed the Buddhist ritual:

"Amitabha, the donor is polite."

"Master, you are polite."

"please"

The two of them sat under the bodhi tree, with a sandalwood table placed between them. They simply sat cross-legged on a futon on one side and motioned for the abbot to take a seat as well.

"What do you call the abbot?"

"Lao Na's name is Jue Fa. I don't know what the seniors call him!"

"My surname is Shan. I'm new to your place. Sorry to bother you!"

"It is our blessing to welcome seniors to the temple."

"Haha! It was my spiritual pet that disturbed the purity of your temple just now. I apologize and ask for your forgiveness, Master."

Juefa held the Buddha beads bracelet in his hand and said with a smile on his face:

"It turns out that it's the spiritual pet of the senior master, so it doesn't matter."

Jueming had already brought tea and served it to the two of them. Then he stood aside and listened to their conversation with open ears.

"I don't know, senior, I'm here, but what can I do for you?"

The abbot Juefa asked very politely. You can't be too polite. This senior's whole body has a natural aura, which is contained and not leaked. He also has merits and virtues. Even the efforts of the entire monks in the temple cannot hurt him in the slightest.

In this case, it would be best if the problem could be solved peacefully, so Abbot Juefa asked the question first.

"I travel here occasionally and have some questions. Please ask Master to clarify my doubts."

"Please tell me."

"This is the secular world of mortals, but I, the abbot and other monks can practice. How can we practice?"

"Amitabha, in the mortal world, our practice relies first on the power of people's faith, and secondly, to gain merit by defeating demons."

"Oh, I see, then are there any other monks here?"

"What are the other monks that the seniors are talking about?"

"The other monks I'm talking about refer to Taoist cultivators, demonic cultivators and demon cultivators."

Abbot Juefa was shocked, where did this senior come from and how could he ask such a question, but he still considered it and answered:

"The inheritance of Taoism has almost been cut off here, and there are very few left. As for demons and demons, they are our biggest enemies of Buddhism. How can we allow them to exist?"

"oh?"

He simply raised his eyebrows without retorting, and then asked:

"Buddhist disciples have eliminated demons and subjugated demons, but they have all committed numerous murderous karma?"

"What good things can a demon have? Why do you ask this?"

Juefa couldn't help but interrupt and answered a simple question.

He was simple and not angry, and asked with a smile:

"Then do you have the Buddhist practice to ascend to become a Buddha?"

"this"

This question stopped both of them, because no one in their memory had ascended.

He nodded simply and clearly and said to Abbot Juefa:

"Buddhism does not emphasize the equality of all living beings. What are all living beings? What is equality?"

Jue Dharma proclaimed the Buddha's name:

"Amitabha! All living beings in the world are all sentient beings when they come to this world. All people are born equal, rich and poor, high and low. It is due to insufficient practice in the previous life that the distinction is made in the reincarnation of cause and effect."

Jueming nodded in agreement.

After hearing these words, Jian Jian nodded, shook his head, looked at the two Buddhist cultivators, and said with a smile:

"What the abbot said is correct, but the pattern is too small."

"Want to hear the details!"

I am respectful to the Fa. After all, I am a powerful senior. It is normal to have different opinions.

I simply turned the tea in my hand, straightened my thoughts, and then spoke carefully:

"In my eyes, everyone from the royal family to the poor, including every monk in this temple, is a living being; and in this world, the birds, fish, insects, flowers, plants, trees, wind, rain and dew are all living beings."

“The equality of all living beings means the equality of all living beings’ legal nature, equality of compassion, joy and generosity towards all living beings, and equality in the face of the law of cause and effect.”

Abbot Juefa listened to the simple analysis and nodded frequently. Jueming also thought silently, but he always felt that something was wrong.

"So, everything in the world can become a Buddha. Even if it is a stubborn stone, why should we kill all the monsters in your mouth? There are good and bad people, Buddhas also have angry eyes, and demons and demons are also good and bad.

, why not liberate them? Why do they want to kill them all?”

"Amitabha! Demons who have committed murderous acts must be killed."

"What about those who didn't create the karma of killing? You also killed them all and never saved them!"

He simply shook his head and felt that the Buddhist cultivators in the Imperial Spirit Kingdom recited the sutra a bit crookedly.

"In my impression, monks are all compassionate. You are compassionate towards sentient and sexual beings, but your approach to ruthless and asexual beings is biased."

The two masters were silent. They simply knew that once some thinking patterns are formed, they cannot be changed for a while. It is no wonder that there is no Buddha ascending here. On the one hand, it is because of the catastrophe in the mainland, and on the other hand, it is also because of their beliefs.

Too limiting.

There was no way to continue the conversation today, but Jian Jian insisted on his own ideas, stood up and nodded to the two of them, still smiling and saying:

"One flower and one world, one tree and one floating life, one grass and one paradise, one leaf and one Tathagata, one sand and one bliss, one square and one pure land, one smile and one worldly connection, and one thought and one purity."

"Buddha has great wisdom, but you have not understood it. When you realize it, you will naturally become a Buddha immediately!"

She simply threw away these words, turned around and left gracefully. Lotus flowers were generated under her feet with spiritual energy as she stepped, holding her up into the sky step by step. With her simple steps, she withered and flourished, along with spring, summer, and autumn.

, the evolution of the winter seasons, Yukong disappeared in front of the two people.

Abbot Juefa froze on the spot, and the Buddhist power in his body began to stir.

I do not believe in Buddhism, but I still agree with some Buddhist sayings. After all, it is consistent with the philosophy we learn.
