Chapter 258: The Way of the Heart
"Picking melons? It's not clear who will pick whom?" Li Wubian said.
"I hate threats the most, especially being threatened by a person in the human-god realm!" Li Wufen said with disdain.
Despite the pressure, he was extremely powerful and clearly despised Xue Jian, whose cultivation level was lower than his own.
"Bada Shanren is indeed a good combination, but it's a pity that you are not worthy of this name!"
Li Feifan felt a certain amount of displeasure in his heart, and he had no good intentions towards this immortal man whom he had just met. When he disliked him, perhaps subtly, he had become the kind of person he disliked the most.
"Taking other people's lives is no longer important. It's the numb nerves that make people lose their original intentions. When the demons and immortals are fighting to the death, ignorance has blocked your eyes, so what's the use of keeping it? It's better for each of you to have a clear mind!"
Xue Jian held Mo Bing and said calmly.
Eye, organ of vision.
Also known as eyes, eyes, and eyes, it is the organ that receives light and forms images in the brain of most animals.
For humans, it is the visual organ and one of the most important sensory organs.
The eye is a very delicate organ that can change its specific shape in different environments, allowing humans to obtain correct information in complex environments.
The simplest eye structure can detect the light and darkness of the surrounding environment, and more complex eye structures can provide vision. Compound eyes are usually found in arthropods, such as insects, and are usually composed of many simple small eye surfaces and produce an image.
In many vertebrates and some molluscs, the eyes produce images by projecting light onto the light-sensitive retina, where the light is received and converted into signals that are transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve.
The eye is usually spherical, filled with a clear gel-like substance, has a focusing lens, and usually an iris that controls how much light enters the eye.
Moreover, the color of human eyes depends on the iris. Eye colors include green, hazel, blue, black, etc.
Eyelids are also divided into double eyelids and single eyelids. Human visual organs include eyeballs, visual pathways and appendages.
The shape of the human eye is close to a sphere and is called an eyeball.
The eyeball is composed of many related parts, such as eyeball wall, fibrous membrane, cornea, sclera, vascular membrane, lens, choroid, retina, etc.
The eyes are the windows to the soul. Xue Jian struck with his sword without any extra movement, but as his sword passed by, eight miserable sounds rang out.
"From now on, you can call them the Eight Blind People. After all, the mind's eye is more suitable for the ignorant."
A sword stabbed the eyes of eight ninth-level earthly gods. Xue Jian put the sword back into its sheath, closed his eyes, and felt unbearable.
Immortals are sacred and exclusive to Taoism. Regardless of whether they are Taoists or not, people or things that become immortals are always closely related to Taoism.
An immortal is a person whose body has been sanctified and whose merits and virtues are perfect. All objects can become immortals. There are two ways to become immortals.
The first is to passively become an immortal. Whether it is a person, an animal, a plant or even a non-living thing, it can be passively transformed into an immortal.
For example, being enlightened by an immortal, or infected by the immortal energy, or taking Taoist elixir, or growing in an environment that absorbs the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, can make an object become an immortal.
The second is to take the initiative to cultivate immortality. "Anyone with nine orifices can cultivate immortality." Therefore, only people and a few animals can cultivate immortality. When they believe in the Tao, take the initiative to practice the authentic Taoist spells, and do many good deeds, those who are destined to do so can achieve it.
Immortal way.
But you must practice authentic magic. If you practice side sects, even if you succeed, you will not become an immortal, you can only become a demon.
After becoming an immortal, if you are not recognized by the authentic dharma lineage, you can only be regarded as a casual immortal. You have not entered the true stream, but you have achieved the body of free and immortal life.
If you are recognized by the Dharma lineage, you will enter the true flow and become a true immortal.
At this time, you can choose to be an official in the heaven, or you can not go. After all, you are an immortal who has cultivated yourself, and you can not be controlled by anyone.
At this time, you can find a fairy mountain and a famous island, where you can feel free and happy, play chess, drink and visit friends all day long, listen to the sermons of the heavenly deities, and not care about worldly affairs. It is really the greatest happiness!
These Badashanren are scattered immortals who have not entered the true stream. They could have been free and easy, but they were fettered by the friendship of unknown right and wrong. Now Xue Jian has stabbed their eyes blind. Although it should not be done at all, it also makes these people
The eight blind immortals found their origins and original intentions when they lost their light, and they turned misfortune into blessing.
Cultivation of immortality depends on understanding the Tao, and Tao is the foundation of the universe. It gives birth to all things, nourishes all things, and runs all things. Its bigness has no outside, its smallness has no inside, it is all-encompassing, formless and imageless, and it has no name. People insist on calling it Tao.
Taishang Taozu said: "The Tao can be Tao, but it is not Tao. The name can be named, but it is not named."
You can say that it is the Tao, but the Tao you are talking about is not the Tao. You can give it a name, but the name you are talking about is not this thing.
Because the Tao is originally nameless, people forcefully call it Tao. When it is nameless, people can name it as color, emptiness, existence, nothingness, demon, god, ghost, insect, home, man, black, etc. It is indescribable, in short it is nothing.
It cannot be named. For example, when people first named it a demon, later people thought it was a demon. Therefore, they said it was not Tao, but just gave it a false name and called it Tao.
There are two ways to describe Tao in the scriptures. One is the formless Tao, which is the Tao that governs all transformations.
Another way is to say that the movement of Tao is called Tao.
As it is said in the scriptures: "You can cultivate the Tao only if you see the Tao. How can you cultivate if you don't see the Tao?"
Seeing the light of nature is also called seeing the way, wish-fulfilling pearls, intercourse, and lotus embryos are all called the way.
From seeing nature to conception is the natural evolution of Tao, but no one knows whether the formless Tao is controlling its natural evolution, or whether it is the Tao and its natural evolution.
Even Taishang Daozu said he didn't know.
Taishang Daozu said: "There is always a desire to observe its orifices, but there is always no desire to observe its wonders."
It means that people have desires when they observe the Tao. Since they have desires, they use their own understanding and knowledge to observe the Tao. However, people's knowledge and views are limited, and they can only observe the Tao based on their own knowledge and insights, not the Tao.
The Tao itself.
But if a person often has no desire to observe the Tao, there will be no paranoia, no resistance, only tolerance and acceptance.
The Tao will merge into the observer's body and mind, or the observer's body and mind will merge into the Tao, which means becoming one and the same as the Tao. Being united with the Tao means enlightenment.
Enlightenment is not a vague ideological understanding.
It is truly visible, and seeing one’s nature is the first witness to enlightenment.
Taishang Daozu said in the Dao Jing: "The road rushes and uses it, and it may not be full. The abyss is like the origin of all things. The confusion, the light, and the dust are the same. The abyss is like or exists. I don't know whose son,
Before the Xiang Emperor."
He also said: "There is something mixed into the innate world. It is lonely, independent and does not change. It moves around without dying. It can be the mother of the world. I don't know its name. The strong character is called Dao. The strong character is called Da. Da means
Pass away, passing away means far, far away means reverse. Therefore, the Tao is big, the sky is big, the earth is big, and people are also big. There is big in the domain, and humans live in one of them. Humans follow the earth, the earth follows the sky, heaven follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature.
."
The first is practice. What is practice?
"Cultivation" means understanding, identifying, judging, and finding the best way.
"Xing" means to abide by and implement it in daily life.
Understanding the Tao, seeking the Tao, proving the Tao, obtaining the Tao, and adhering to the Tao are the way to sublime life.
Enlightenment is to understand the operating laws and regulations of the universe, the origin of all things and phenomena, the principles of life, and the mysteries and mysteries of the universe, time and space, life, and human life through understanding the myriad phenomena of the vast world.
Seeking the Tao means starting to establish one's own world view, outlook on life, outlook on life, and values on the basis of enlightenment.
The so-called enlightenment is to constantly and repeatedly verify whether one's world view, outlook on life, outlook on life, and values are correct through one's own practical activities, and whether they are in line with the evolutionary laws and procedures of the Tao.
Immortals who have attained the Tao have understood the mysteries of the universe, time and space, and human life, and then established an unbreakable and correct world view, outlook on life, outlook on life and values.
After the immortal attains the Tao, he must abide by the Tao, which is to practice and practice according to the established world view, outlook on life, outlook on life, and values, and conduct himself and do things, no matter how vicissitudes change, no matter what major events happen around him, no matter whether he is in good times or bad times, no matter how big he faces
Regardless of the temptation, we will stick to our faith and convictions.
The journey of life is sometimes sunny and windy, and everything comes true; sometimes it's stormy and everything goes wrong; sometimes it's like riding on colorful clouds, feeling relaxed and happy; sometimes it's bumpy and bumpy; sometimes it's easy to get something; sometimes it's all in vain after all the hard work.
, some are like a fish in the water, radiant, and some are hit by obstacles everywhere, and are in a mess. A three-year-old child sits on the throne, and those who fight on the battlefield die in a foreign land. The neighbors have delicacies, there is a lot of traffic in front of the door, the home is miserable, and everything is withered. What is fate? Luck?
Oh dear lord, who domains the fate of this world?
Life is a long road, full of ups and downs. Why is it said that "man makes things happen, but God makes things happen"? Where is heaven? What does heaven have to do with my destiny?
Those who think like this are enlightening.
If you constantly ponder the heaven and earth, the wonderful principles will eventually be revealed. Wood can be drilled to make fire, heat can be gathered, ice water can be boiled, celestial bodies have their trajectory, life has its karma and retribution, it is difficult to make waves without wind, misfortunes and blessings come due to people, and thousands of weather changes occur.
There are many, all because there are laws behind you. It is so easy to go down the river, but it is hard to go upstream. I am running around in a daze, and I am refreshed and happy. I am happy and content with whatever comes, and I do not seek disaster. I do not seek glory and wealth.
, but I want to be clear of my heart, obey the times, and seek peace of mind. Those who feel this way are seeking the Tao.
How did the universe originate? There is an invisible hand controlling the evolution of all things. Who is it and what is its relationship with it?
Creationism, evolution, who is right and who is wrong, theologians and scientists, who is right and who is wrong, life must be based on natural principles, where is the natural principle, all things react to each other, how to react, is Tai Chi yin and yang the truth, is death the end of life or another starting point
, where is the evidence, what should be pursued first in life, what are the priorities and priorities in life, how to best deal with the relationship between me and people, me and others in society, and me and nature. Those who explore in this way are enlightening.
A rope cuts a tree, a drop of water penetrates a stone, water comes naturally, a melon is ripe and the stem falls, hard work pays off, the gods and Buddhas favor the pious, suddenly, the light of inspiration flashes through the dimension, and the whole line is connected; the pure-hearted immortal arrives, with a clear mind, he sees the emperor of heaven, and sees the scene in the heaven.
After understanding that life is a journey and that life has infinite time and space, it is now clear that you can ascend to heaven, reach the ideal other shore, and enjoy a blissful life to the fullest. In this way, you have achieved enlightenment.
Day and night alternate, demons, gods and Buddhas are inseparable. There is yang in the yin, and there is yin in the yang. The higher you get to the top of the mountain, the more difficult and dangerous it is. The deeper you dive, the greater the pressure. There is no free lunch, no cheap treasures, the road to eternal life.
The door is narrow. If you can't let go of pigs and sheep, you can't trap wolves. If you can't let go of life, you can't become an immortal. If you can't let go of yourself, you can't cross the river of life. After attaining the Tao, you will encounter tests and temptations everywhere. It all depends on whether you can stick to your position and persevere until the last moment.
, if you can stick to it, the willows will be dim and the flowers will be bright. If you retreat a little, the flames will evaporate, and you will fall short. It is easy to get the way but hard to keep the way. Always hold on to the hand of the Emperor of Heaven, always listen to the teachings of the saints, and follow closely behind the right path to prevent the devil from interfering. In this way, you will
It's called Shoudao.
This is the way to sublime life - to understand the Tao, seek the Tao, prove the Tao, obtain the Tao, and keep the Tao.
However, Bada Shanren realized the Tao, sought the Tao, proved the Tao, and obtained the Tao, but in the end they failed to keep the Tao.
