Chapter 322: The Virtue(1/3)
Chapter 38 of Te Ching
If the upper virtue is not virtuous, it means that there is virtue; if the lower virtue is not lost, it means that there is no virtue.
The highest virtue is inaction but there is no way to do it; the lowest virtue is inaction but there is no way to do it.
The superior benevolence does it but cannot do it; the superior righteousness does it but cannot do it.
If you do the rituals and do not respond to them, you will rush your arms and throw them away. Therefore, if you lose your way, you will be virtuous, if you lose your virtue, you will be benevolent, if you lose your benevolence, if you lose your benevolence, you will be righteous, if you lose your righteousness, you will be ritual.
Etiquette is the weak loyalty and trustworthiness, but the leader of chaos.
Those who know the past are the beauty of Tao and the beginning of foolishness.
Therefore, a real man takes advantage of his strength, not his weakness; in reality, not his beauty. Therefore, he takes advantage of him.
Chapter 39
In the past, one thing was obtained: the heavens were clear, the earths were calm, the gods were spiritual, the valleys were born, and the princes and kings were born.
This means that the sky cannot be clear and will be afraid of breaking.
If the earth has no peace, it will be afraid of being destroyed; if the gods have no spirit, it will be afraid of being resting; if the valley has no filling, it will be exhausted; if all things have no birth, it will be destroyed; if the princes and kings have no integrity, it will be afraid of being depressed.
Therefore, nobleness is based on lowliness, and highness is based on the basis of high and below.
Therefore, the prince and king claimed to be lonely, widowed, and not grave.
This is not based on lowliness. It is not. Therefore, it has no reputation.
Therefore, I do not want to be like jade or as silk as stone.
Chapter 40
The opposite is the movement of Tao; the weak is the use of Tao.
All things in the world are born from existence, and existence is born from nothing.
Chapter 41
When the superior man hears the truth, he practices it diligently; when the middle man hears the truth, he is as alive or dead; when the inferior man hears the truth, he laughs out loud.
Not smiling is not enough to be a good word.
Therefore, there are suggestions: to be clear about the way, to advance the way, to retreat; to the way, to be a barbaric way, to be a shady; to be a vast virtue, to be vast and be a lack of virtue, to be a steal; to be a real person; to be a great white person; to be humiliated; to be generous without a corner; to be a great product; to be a great sound; to be invisible; to be invisible; to be hidden without a name.
Only the Tao can be achieved by lending and being able to achieve success.
Chapter 42
Tao gives birth to one, one gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, and three gives birth to all things.
All things carry yin and embrace yang, and the qi is harmonious.
What people hate is only lonely, weak, and not grave, but the kings and princes think it is praised.
Therefore, things may damage them and gain them.
I also teach what people teach.
If a strong person cannot die, I will be considered a godfather.
Chapter 43
The most gentle world is, the most firm world is.
Nothing enters the world, so I know that nothing is beneficial.
If you do not speak, you will benefit from inaction, and the world will hope to achieve it.
Chapter 44
Which is close to fame or body? Which is more fame or goods? Which is more fame or death?
If you love a lot, you will lose a lot; if you hide too much, you will lose a lot.
Therefore, being content is not humiliating, knowing how to stop is not in danger, and one can last for a long time.
Chapter 45
If a great success is lacking, its use will not be bad.
If the big surplus is like a rush, its use will never be endless.
A big straightforward thing is like a bend, a big clever thing is like a clumsy thing, and a big argument is like a dull thing.
Quietness overcomes impatience, cold overcomes heat. Clearness is the right way for the world.
Chapter 46
There is a way in the world, but there is a way to get rid of the horse.
There is no way in the world, and military horses are born in the suburbs.
Nothing is greater than being dissatisfied; nothing is greater than being desirable.
Therefore, contentment is always enough.
Chapter 47
If you don’t leave your home, you will know the world; if you don’t look at the window, you will see the way of heaven.
The distance goes further and the knowledge becomes less.
Therefore, the sage knows it without knowing it without seeing it without doing it, and becomes clear without doing it without doing it.
Chapter 48
Learning is increasing day by day, and Tao is deteriorating day by day.
It is damaged and damaged, so as to do nothing.
Do nothing but do everything.
Taking the world always means nothing is wrong, and even if there is something, it is not enough to win the world.
Chapter 49
The sages often have no intentions and regard the hearts of the people as their hearts.
If you are good, I will be good; if you are not good, I will be good. If you are good, I will be good.
Those who believe, I believe it; those who do not believe, I also believe it; those who do not believe it; those who are virtuous and trustworthy.
The sage is in the world and is humble and concealed, and the people are obsessed with their ears and eyes, and the sages are all children.
Chapter 50
There are thirteen people who live and die; there are three who die; there are three who live and move to death.
Why is it because of its thickness?
It is said that those who are good at capturing life will not encounter a tiger on the road, and will not be armed and soldiers when entering the army; the wrist has no place to throw its horns, the tiger has no use of its claws, and the soldiers have no place to put their blades.
Why is it because it has no place to die?
Chapter 51
The way produces it, virtue occupies it, things form it, and momentum achieves it.
Therefore, all things respect the Tao and value virtue.
The dignity of Tao and the nobleness of virtue are always natural.
Therefore, the Tao gives birth to it, the virtue carries it; it grows and nurtures it; it matures and nourishes it.
Born without having, doing without relying on it, growing up without ruling it. This is called mysterious virtue.
Chapter 52
The world has its beginning, and I think it is the mother of the world.
After getting his mother, he knows his son and keeps his mother again, and he will never be in danger without a single body.
If you block the Dui and close the door, you will be unable to work hard for the rest of your life.
Open up the Dui and help the matter, and never save it for life.
When you see a small person, it is called Ming, and when you keep soft, it is called strong.
Use its light to return to its brightness and bring about no harm to the body; this is to follow the constant.
Chapter 53
Let me know, and walk on the great way, only giving is fear.
The road is very barbaric, but people are good at paths.
The court was very severe, the fields were too poor, and the warehouse was very weak. I was very literary, had sharp swords, and I was tired of food and food, and I had enough money. This was for the sake of robbery.
It's not Tao.
Chapter 54
Those who are good at building will not pull out, those who are good at holding will not take off, and descendants will continue to sacrifice.
To be continued...
