Chapter 714: The High Mountain Road

"Your name is Huang Ba, right?" Wu Cidi asked calmly.

"You...how do you know?" the man said in a panic.

"You don't have to worry about this. To verify that what I say is not false, you must follow the direction I said. Also, let me tell you, as the saying goes: Sometimes you must have it, but don't force it if you don't have it. If you draw a lottery, no matter how you escape, it will be useless, because this is a destined number."

"Okay, I'll go as you say. If you don't know, I'll kill your divination stall."

"Okay, one word is certain."

Everyone was a little helpless when they looked at the prank Huang Ba. They all hoped to see the fulfillment of the diviner. They stood there when they were fine, wanting to know the result.

The man was dissatisfied and walked eastward. Soon, when the manure was carried, Huang Ba did not believe that he could be sewed from the manure.

At this moment, a horseman ran past, and the manure carrying man quickly moved away, but because the ground was wet and slipped, the yellow man in the left bucket shook out, and indeed Huang Ba was covered in feces.

The man was in a bad mood. Even though the man with feces apologized repeatedly, he kicked and scolded him.

After a while, he saw the embarrassing man carrying feces and the man was bruised and swollen. The man was so angry that he was about to wash it clean by the pool. However, the snake in the grass was trampled by him. The snake was startled and bit it on the leg that it was trampled on...

When Donghuang Mingyue woke up, she was already in a temple on the top of a mountain.

As the saying goes, a mountain is not high, but an immortal is famous.

Since ancient times, many famous mountains and rivers have had a long history of Taoist temples.

Many Taoist palaces are built on a very dangerous terrain, with hundreds of meters of abyss on all sides. If you are not careful, you will fall down.

So, why do Taoism choose to build Taoist temples on the mountain?

First, Taoists regard their own practice as the most important part of their practice. In order to better achieve the state of Tao following nature and unity of man and nature, they often choose places away from the hustle and bustle of the world to practice, seeking a peaceful artistic conception and mind state to better at attaining the Tao.

Taoism believes that Tao is the origin of the universe's endless birth and its energy is endless. The development of nature is to follow the natural laws of Tao giving birth to one, one giving birth to two, two giving birth to three, and three giving birth to all things.

With the rapid development of society, some people cannot adapt to the rhythm and pressure, so they use the name of practice to try to become a free and careless "hermit" in the mountains to escape responsibility. Don't you know that the hard life on the mountains cannot comfort their inner worries. People are in the mountains and their hearts are in the world, but they are far away from the way.

Second, the mountain tops often have beautiful natural environment and abundance. Looking up at a high altitude makes people broad-minded and conducive to practice. In the eyes of practitioners, winding and undulating mountains not only give people a sense of magnificence and comfort, but also have the function of hiding people in nature and practicing meditation.

Third, the purpose of Taoist priests to practice is to be the most important life in the way of immortality, and their ultimate realm is to be eager to ascend to immortality to reach the immortal world. Many Taoist figures in ancient times ascend to immortality, such as Huangdi, Zhuanxu, etc.

Taoism is a religion that worships gods and immortals. Taoism believes that gods are transformed by Taoist energy, immortals are accomplished by enlightenment, gods and immortals have great supernatural powers and benefit the world, so we must respect and worship gods. Building the Taoist temple on the top of the mountain is to hope to be infinitely close to the gods and immortals in the sky.

You cannot speak loudly in the Taoist temple on the mountain, otherwise it will alarm the immortals in the sky. If the immortal descends to the earth, the Taoist temple will be the residence of the gods and immortals to welcome the immortals. People have imagined that the "fairyland" may be in the sky, or overseas in China, and finally implemented on the land with beautiful mountains and rivers, which has led to the creation of a blessed land in the cave.

Fourth, Feng Shui has always been one of the main techniques of Taoism to practice. Taoism has ten major cave heavens, thirty-six small cave heavens, and seventy-two blessed lands.

The gods and immortals have skin as snow as ice and snow, and are as graceful as virgins; do not eat grains, suck the wind and drink dew; ride on clouds, control flying dragons, and travel outside the four seas. Taoism believes that in the fairyland on earth in the cave heaven and the blessed land, it can place some ideals, so most of the Taoist temples built on the mountain are built according to the trend of the mountain, integrating with nature, and truly achieving the unity of man and nature.

Therefore, the construction of Taoist temples itself also pays attention to the location selection. Because of the good Feng Shui trends, high mountains and rivers have formed a majestic mountain shape and surrounding the spiritual energy.

In addition, China has had a tradition of worshipping mountains and rivers since ancient times, and believed that the noble peaks themselves are the incarnation of gods. Therefore, building buildings and building temples among famous mountains and rivers has become the choice of Taoism in all dynasties.

Finally, many Taoist temples are distributed in the downtown area, which can be described as a pure place in the world. For example, the city god temples that have been prosperous in various places have always been known as "city" to refer to cities; "gold" is a dry moat, and "city" and "gold" are both military facilities to protect the safety of the city, and the city god is the protective god of the city, so the city god temples in various places are mostly in the city, thus becoming Taoist temples in the city.

When Donghuang Mingyue woke up, the old Taoist priest pushed the door with the porridge in, "Miss Donghuang, are you finally awake?"

The little Taoists on the mountain walked around the door and looked at the so-called "fairy".

"Where is this?" Donghuang Mingyue asked.

"This is the Taoist temple in the middle of the mountain on the top of Mount Tai. My disciples found a girl in the mountains. When you saw a jade pendant with the word "Donghuang" on your waist, you must be from the Donghuang family?" The old Taoist priest handed the porridge bowl over and said.

"The Taoist priest knows the Donghuang family, and it seems that he is not an ordinary Taoist!" Donghuang Mingyue drank the porridge and looked at the seven Taoist priests who were peeking outside the door.

"I knew a priest named Dong Huangjue in my early years. After two days of guidance, I could know one or two." The old priest said with emotion, and then heard something happening at the door, he cursed at the door: "You group of unscrupulous kids are waiting outside the door to see what you are waiting for when you come in, why bother to sneak in?"

Seven Taoist priests of different sizes stepped into the door timidly, full of curiosity and anxiety.

"Master!"

Donghuang Mingyue looked at the seven Taoist priests and asked the old Taoist priest: "They are the 'Seven Feathers' in this temple?"

"Miss Donghuang is indeed very powerful and can see through the appearance at a glance. They are all abandoned children who are not well-fed and not warm. I have been traveling a few years ago. When I saw children with no clothes, I felt unbearable and had to bring them to this temple. After more than 40 years, there were only these seven, but they were poor in talent and were not as good as the weather. Why don't you pay homage to Fairy Donghuang?"

The seven timid Taoist priests quickly saluted respectfully and shouted, "Hello, Fairy Donghuang."

"You have saved me, so there is no need to be polite!" Donghuang Mingyue said with a smile, then after eating the porridge, put the bowl on the shelf on the table, and said to the old Taoist priest: "It's true that we are hurt by an evil immortal. Now we don't know whether our companions are spared. No matter how immortals and mortals practice good deeds, they all have unfulfilled wishes. If the seven disciples of the Taoist priest can safely and happily walk in this middle Taoist priest, it would be a blessing."

"But they have a destiny to me and saved me. If I don't like my Taoism to be superficial, I will teach them some basic Taoism so that they can also eliminate evil and promote good in the world and save the world and save people."

The old Taoist priest turned to the seven disciples and said, "You are pure and honest and commendable. Today I am lucky to give my daughter Donghuang blessings. Why don't you thank me quickly?"

Before the seven disciples could recover, they heard the master shouting and kowtowed, "Thank you Fairy Donghuang!"

"No need to thank you, as long as you understand the principle of 'shallow skills to save the world, and not to show off your strength and win'." Donghuang Mingyue took out a roll of cloth from the space ring and used her spiritual sense to imprint the "Sixty-Four Techniques" and "Shocking Eighteen Changes" on it.

"These sixty-four techniques are the foundation of the immortal path, and can subdue ordinary demons and sneaky. As for the "Eighteen Changes in the Sky", they are sword techniques that can kill primary immortals and must not fall into the hands of evil people. The chance of life depends entirely on your own fortune. How much success can be achieved depends on you."

Donghuang Mingyue looked at the seven Taoist priests and said, then turned around and handed the cloth to the old Taoist priest and said, "The Donghuang is my uncle, and this silk man and my temple are also considered fate. My cousin has also been separated from me. I will go back to search. If my uncle wants to come, you can meet."

"Don't worry, Miss Donghuang, I will keep this silk well. I will definitely let it carry forward and will never fall into the hands of evil people. I originally wanted to hold it for a few days, but the girl was in a hurry, so I could only give it to me respectfully." The old Taoist priest had already taken the silk book and saw that Donghuang Mingyue had gotten out of bed and was about to leave, so he had to get up and give it to him.

"Thank you for your help, but I'm anxious. I'll say goodbye first, so there's no need to send him off." Donghuang Mingyue gave a bow to the few people, then flashed and disappeared into the top of the mountain.

"I am really an immortal!" The old Taoist priest looked at the shadowless Taoist temple and couldn't help but exclaim.

"Master, Master, is Fairy Donghuang really an immortal?" The youngest disciple Qiyu asked with envy on his face.

The old Taoist priest came back from his yearning, looked at Qiyu who was blushing and asked, and reached out to touch his head and said, "Yes, flying in the air, free in the sky, coming and going without a trace on this high mountain, this is an immortal, a state that he will never reach in his life for his master. Now, as long as you work hard, there will be a glimmer of hope."

"Master, don't worry, we will work harder to realize your wish."

The old Taoist priest smiled and said, "Peace is a blessing, everything goes with the flow, and cultivating the mind is the most important thing. You must stick to your original intention to gain happiness and go further, do you know?"

"I understand, Master, we will stick to our original aspirations and will not disappoint you." Daya nodded in approval.

"Well, the moon is beautiful at the top of the high school, just like picking the stars with your hands. The scenery in your eyes determines the future. On this point, I have always believed it without doubt." The old Taoist priest said meaningfully.

Decades ago, Donghuangjue Station stood here with him and looked up at the stars, but it was not him who said this, but Donghuangjue. Now he used this to teach his disciples to stick to the original heart that belongs to everyone. (To be continued)
