gun shop in america

On the first day I came to the United States, I visited a larger local gun shop. Utah is a state with relatively loose gun control in the Midwest. There are many local Mormons, banned smoking and alcohol, and like to store food and weapons and ammunition, and are ready to deal with the arrival of the apocalypse. Gun shops are as popular as China's hardware and grocery stores. In addition to professional-level weapons stores, Walmart, shooting ranges and thrift stores also sell guns. There are gun shopping guide magazines in supermarkets. You can find the price of each type of gun being sold. As long as you can afford the money, you can buy Barrett at 50.

Today I mainly introduce a gun shop I often go to. The store is equivalent to a small supermarket, selling light weapons series and hunting supplies, as well as various peripheral products, hats, boots, belts, soft shells, mountaineering bags, etc. I was shocked when I first went there. There were several guns on the shelf in the center of the store for customers to play with. Three old Soviet-made Mosinnagan rifles, which were made of Soviet infantry weapons during World War II, priced at $170-180, solid wood butt stocks and guards, greased bolts, worn rifles, blurred original logos, everything is silent about these three brothers.

The glorious history and embarrassing status, not far away, there is a shabby cardboard box with dozens of multi-function bayonets made by the Soviet AK47, priced at US$19.99, and a large number of leather-made Soviet bullet bags from World War II, which must have been bought from a certain arsenal in Russia or Eastern Europe at the price of scrap. There is also a red exhibition area next to it, which is full of Soviet ammunition, 7.62 pistol bullets, M43 rifle bullets, and paper-packed 7.62X54R rifle bullets. It is the matched bullets of Mosinnagan. One pack of twenty rounds costs US$4.99, which is quite cheap.

Let’s talk about the central booth, in addition to these three historic rifles, there is also a newer German World War II Mauser 98K rifle, Remington shotgun and M700 sniper rifle equipped with a scope, which can be played with at will, and there are also a large number of magazines, knives, shotguns, and scope displays.

There are many varieties and prices on the main counter. There are basically mainstream pistols, but after careful observation, I didn't find weapons made by China. It seems that Northern Industry's sales performance in North America is not very good. These pistols are beautifully shaped and well-made, and do not look like killing weapons, but rather like handicrafts. Take GOLOK17 as an example, the price is about 600 US dollars. Some special M1911 series are priced at thousands of US dollars. Americans' love for revolvers is eternal. The proportion of revolvers is not small, from large to small, and there are even 1,860 Colt Black Drug Revolvers. By the way, buying a gun driven by black gunpowder does not require identity, because the law believes that this kind of gun is not a modern weapon.

There are dozens of long guns on the gun stand behind the counter, and the variety is dazzling, from squad machine guns to automatic rifles, from shotguns to .22-caliber children's special rifles, so I won't list them all.

The gun shop is not only selling guns, but consumables are the big ones for sales. In addition to bullets of various calibers, there are also bullet shells, fire bases and bullets. Packs of bullets are placed on the shelves, heavy and golden, like ripe fruits, peanuts, broad beans, and sunflower seeds.

It is not enough to have a bullet shell. It also requires a launching medicine and a special machine to create a complete bullet. The knowledge here is too great. Even the nine-mm pistol bullet can be subdivided into many categories. The weight and specifications of the bullet determine the price. As a tourist, he cannot study it thoroughly for a while, so he can only take a quick look.

In addition, there are various peripheral products. There are countless types of pistol grips, including rifle stocks, small grips, guards, as well as strikers, bolt parts, various tools for dismantling and repairing firearms, etc. One wall is full of gun holsters, including genuine leather, polymer, artificial leather, and nylon, and the prices range from twenty dollars to hundreds of dollars. The rifle's gun jacket, safes for gun loading, belts, etc. are dazzling.

Hunting and camping supplies account for one-third of the total amount of goods, hunting knives, camouflage clothing, flashlights, scopes, rangefinders, boots, etc., are basically ignored because they are not the focus.

Going further in, there are air gun shelves, usually within one hundred dollars, mostly carbon dioxide gas cylinders are used, and high-pressure air guns are also sold, gas cylinders and BB bullets. This toy gun is almost in the category of real guns in China. Holding and trading are both felony crimes, but here is the toy for older children.

I bought some goods in this store. Foreign passports cannot be purchased, but there is no barrier to buying knives and bullets. I bought three boxes of bullets, one box of fifty rounds filled with nine-mm pistol bullets, $15, one box of 20 rounds filled with Russian M43 iron-shell rifle bullets, that is, the bullets used for AK47 are 6. There is also a pack of Mosinnagan bullets, 20 rounds filled with $4.99.

There are at least five gun shops like this in the city. In addition, thrift stores also sell guns, but they are all second-hand goods. If you are careful, you can find good things. I have seen SIGP210, the most exquisite and expensive pistol in history, but I still haven't seen it made in China, which is a pity.

There is also a way to sell guns called the gun exhibition. It is basically a large exhibition. Each gun shop and private individuals can spend money to rent stalls. You can see some old goods in the box at the gun exhibition. I have seen Japanese turtle boxes, fourteen-year-old pistols in the south, and the leather holsters are still there, priced at $999. It must have been the trophy from the Pacific battlefield back then, and there is also a German-made P38. The origin is probably the same.

The advantage of the gun show is that you can touch the gun at will, enjoy the fun, see the world, and play with the famous guns that you can only see in pictures in the past. Of course, if you are really happy, you have to go to the shooting range. I won’t repeat the story about shooting. If you are interested, you can read the previous article.

The feeling of visiting the gun shop is that the United States is a martial country with a huge number of guns owned by the people. Although the social problems caused by this are also very serious, the benefits are also very obvious. In contrast, in our country, there are many rumors and warriors. There are often reports of public security checking for a large number of guns on the news. In fact, they are just plastic toy guns. The martial spirit of castrating the people is pros and cons, and time will give the answer.
