Chapter 9 Jade Buddha Beads

The green mountains are still there, green trees and red flowers, waterfalls and hanging rocks, and there are waves of white mist slowly lingering in between. I stared at everything in front of me, and couldn't help but open my mouth and couldn't close it. This is...Where is this? Why am I here?

Between the green mountains, I saw a quiet and peaceful small mountain village, which was said to be quiet and peaceful, and the people and things in it were clearly presented in front of me. A clear stream extended below the waterfall. The stream water was winding and twisting, surrounding the small mountain village like a jade belt. Next to the stream, there were a group of dolls with bare little butts playing and playing in the water. There were also several women on the shore pounding their clothes in front of the wooden basin. I couldn't help but be shocked when I saw the clothes of these people!

It is not uncommon to wear big long gowns now, but I have never seen anyone wear ancient clothes so simple that I can't recognize the style of those women's clothes. It's a bit like... it's a bit like those who are performing on the stage, and these women also wear hairpins. This is really a bit of a joke. Are there anyone who is interested in this now?

Looking around, the mountain villages at the foot of the green mountains are extremely interesting. The courtyards are connected to each other to form a dragon-shaped entrenched at the foot of the mountain. It can also be said that the pattern formed by the entire village is a big circle. However, there seems to be a small mountain road behind the mountain village, which extends windingly into the deep mountains. I was about to look carefully, but the scenery in front of me suddenly changed, the waterfall and the peaceful mountain village disappeared instantly. At this moment, what appeared in front of me was a temple with a very grand decoration. But before I could see the plaque hanging on the temple, the light around suddenly became dark, and a cold breath came to my face!

The sudden change in the atmosphere made me a little surprised. What is this place? Why is there such a strong yin energy?

Suddenly, two people walking in a hurry came from the desolate mountain road. They all looked in ancient costumes. The man was obviously a little scholar with a strong sense of books. The young woman beside him looked weak. They walked lightly on the neat and spacious mountain road in front of the temple and came all the way to the temple gate.

"Zijun, in this life, there is only you..." The young woman looked at the scholar with affectionate expression. Before she finished speaking, she choked and threw herself into the scholar's arms.

The scholar sighed lightly, slowly stroked the woman's jade shoulder with his hands, and said seriously: "Huilan, even if there is no place for us in the world, I will never leave you and grow old together..."

The woman who was called Huilan slowly raised her head, and the two looked at each other quietly. Almost at the same time, both of them said affectionately: "I only envy the mandarin ducks but not the immortals!"

Then it can be imagined that the two hugged each other like a focal point. After a long time, the scholar slowly stroked the woman's shoulder and said, "Huilan, have you brought that treasure?"

The woman Huilan looked at the scholar slightly, nodded shyly and said, "Well... This was originally a dowry prepared by my mother for me, but I didn't think so... I didn't think so..."

What surprised me was that after hearing Huilan's words, the scholar immediately said with ecstasy: "Hurry! Take it out and let me see!"

Huilan hurriedly took out a dark red brocade box from her sleeve, but the scholar took it off. I immediately opened my eyes wide. It became too fast, right? I just vowed to make a vow, why are you so savage now? I don’t know what treasure is in the brocade box.

Under Huilan's slightly surprised gaze, the scholar hurriedly opened the brocade box. I was immediately shocked. If I felt good, the pure spiritual energy emitted from the brocade box instantly indicates that this object is of extraordinary quality, so the white light made me unable to see what this object looks like.

But the scholar quickly solved my doubts, and he only heard him pick up the round bead-shaped thing in surprise and shouted: "It's indeed a jade Buddha bead... It seems that rumored that when Monk Danzi passed away, a jade Buddha bead left on earth, it can be said to be a priceless treasure! Hahaha~~~"

"Zijun? Zijun?" Huilan called out to the scholar in horror, but the scholar pushed Huilan aside, and looked at the beads in his hand with his eyes straight and laughed loudly: "If this is taken out, it will be cheap to sell a few million taels of silver. Hahaha~~~ Then go to the big town to find a daughter and achieve a happy marriage, tsk tsk~~~"

"Ah?" Huilan trembled all over and pointed to the scholar and said with tears in her eyes: "It turns out... it turns out that your Yan Zijun shows love to me in every way, just for... it's for this jade Buddhist bead?!"

After saying the last sentence, Huilan took two steps back tremblingly, but immediately rushed forward and grabbed the scholar Yan Zijun's arm and said anxiously: "Zijun, don't you think of a trace of friendship? I, I have given everything to you, and you..."

"Get out!" Yan Zijun shook Huilan away, then tidied up his clothes, and snorted coldly, "I said you have given me everything, so what else can I want you? Humph!"

I stared at the jade Buddha bead, the taizi monk... the taizi monk... I suddenly woke up. Could it be that the taizi monk Yan Zijun mentioned is the taizi monk that his master mentioned before?

Master once said that although the Maoshan School is known as the best blessed land in the world and the eighth cave heaven, the portals that inherit authentic Taoism have gradually withered, while the number of branches of other schools that have emerged one after another is increasing. Speaking of this monk Danzi, I would like to talk about the origin of the Maoshan School. My master belongs to the Maoshan School, while Gutan is a branch of the Xianshu School. However, the Xianshu and the Tantric School are both inherited from the Shangqing School, which is also the most verified statement.

But this is not the case among the people. There are many sayings among the people, and there are roughly four. The first one is nothing wrong. The authentic lineage passed down from our Shangqing sect. The second one is a sect passed down by Li Laojun of Chishan. The third one is not verified. It is a folk sect evolved from the White Lotus Sect. The fourth one is the sect passed down by the monk Danzi mentioned above.

Let’s not talk about anything else, but it’s strange to say that there is a monk in Maoshan who presides over the school? The reason is that this monk was born from a floating egg and was born with a miraculous man. He learned the magic in the "Ruyi Book" by "Yuan Gong" in Yunmeng Mountain. Yuan Gong is actually a white ape. He guarded the secret book of the Heavenly Palace, "Ruyi Book". The whole book talks about magical changes, revealing all the secrets of heaven and earth, and is also the treasure of heaven and earth. It is secretly hidden in the fairy palace and cave heaven. It is really hard to find for ordinary practitioners. Moreover, this method is very simple, easy to learn and understand.

Mr. Yuan passed the contents of this book to Monk Danzi. In order to show his thoughts, Monk Danzi burned the "Ruyi Book" in front of the monkey after learning it. So Monk Danzi went down the mountain to start a sect with all his skills. In later generations, those who talked about magical changes and flying in the sky and earth came from this Maoshan. However, how could this sect be called Maoshan? Even the master couldn't say the reason at that time. However, Master was sure that Monk Danzi's statement was somewhat based, because there were rumors about the manuscript of "Ruyi Book" in the world. Since there were rumors, it would naturally not be groundless. It's a pity that such a treasure of the world is indeed hard to come by!
