Chapter 63 Shadow

The night is getting darker, but through the night light, countless mottled stains on the ceiling can still be seen clearly.

But apart from the stains, there was nothing else.

The fat man retracted his gaze and looked at Jiang Cheng doubtfully. His lips moved for a while before he said carefully: "Doctor, I don't understand what you mean..."

"It's already 12 o'clock," Jiang Cheng held the camera in his hand but looked towards the door.

The fat man became more and more confused.

"Yesterday...no one died." Jiang Cheng said.

Hearing this, the fat man's body paused, and then he couldn't help trembling. He stared at Jiang Cheng's face and couldn't help but said: "Doctor, isn't it good that no one dies?"

"Okay," Jiang Cheng's face showed no expression, "but it's not normal."

"Is it normal for people to die every day?" The fat man suddenly raised his voice.

"Yes," Jiang Cheng nodded affirmatively, "at least one."

They have spent three full days on this mission.

The cheongsam girl died on the night of the first day, and Long Tao died on the afternoon of the second day.

It's already the fourth day.

Indeed, no one died yesterday.

Even though there were some twists and turns, everyone returned to the dormitory safely.

"Doctor," the fat man swallowed and whispered, "Is it because you are too nervous? The ghost probably needs to rest."

Jiang Cheng ignored him.

After a while, the fat man advised again: "Doctor, you have done a good enough job, don't put too much pressure on yourself."

Jiang Cheng looked at the camera in his hand over and over again.

Zhen Jianren took pictures of almost the entire music classroom from the inside out, even the teachers and students, but still no trace of the ghost was found.

The ghost...just disappeared out of thin air.

"Crack!"

The lights in the room suddenly turned on.

Jiang Cheng's eyes narrowed and he immediately looked towards the door.

The switch for the chandelier is by the door.

The fat man standing in front of the switch was frightened by Jiang Cheng's sudden look.

"Doctor," he explained quickly, "I don't feel quite right either. I have a very bad feeling. I think we'd better turn on the lights."

That was fine, after all, he wasn't going to sleep tonight either.

With a fat man accompanying me, I don’t feel bored either.

But just when he lowered his head and was about to watch the video again.

His body suddenly stiffened.

The chandelier overhead was still on, emitting a dim yellow light.

Looking along his line of sight, there was a small shadow under him.

It's like a fog that can never be dispelled.

The fat man noticed something strange about Jiang Cheng and immediately asked, "Doctor, what's wrong with you?"

No one answered.

"Doctor?" Fatty said in a serious tone.

The uneasiness in his heart became stronger and stronger.

Just when he was about to lose control——

Jiang Cheng suddenly moved. He put down the camera, then took the black camera bag hanging on the side and put the camera inside.

"Fat man," Jiang Cheng said as he cleaned up, "hurry up and clean up."

"Doctor, the few possessions I have are all in my clothes." The fat man looked at the ink-like night outside the window, his throat rolled, and his eyes were full of confusion, "But...but let's go now, right?"

Too dangerous?"

He is also a little confused now. After all, it was Jiang Cheng who told him a few hours ago that he could not leave here tonight no matter what.

He looked at Jiang Cheng doubtfully.

After the latter finished speaking, he first sorted out the garbage on the floor, and then packed up the empty large bottle of iced black tea and placed it behind the door.

Then he walked back and took off his coat, then his pants.

The fat man watched helplessly as Jiang Cheng stripped himself down to only a pair of boxer briefs.

"Doctor," the fat man's eyes widened, "are you..."

The next second, Jiang Cheng swooped into bed like a fish.

"Fat man," Jiang Cheng's comfortable moans came from the bed, his voice a little muffled, "hurry up and tidy up, turn off the lights first, I'm going to bed."

...

This night was definitely a torment for Fatty. He had been holding back a lot of questions, but before he could ask them, Jiang Cheng fell asleep.

Although he once suspected that Jiang Cheng was faking it.

Maybe after a while, he suddenly jumps up again and pulls him away.

So he didn't even take off his clothes and waited all night.

Until it gets dark.

There were footsteps outside the door.

"Who?!" the fat man asked alertly.

"It's me," the visitor replied, "Luo Yi."

It is indeed Luo Yi's voice, and...

The fat man turned his head and looked out the window. It was already dawn.

Jiang Cheng also poked his head out of the bed and said drowsily, "Let him wait for a while. I'm not used to dressing in front of men."

The fat man returned according to Jiang Cheng's instructions, "Wait a moment, we haven't gotten up yet!"

There was a "hiss-" sound outside the door, as if Luo Yi had lost his temper with these two people.

"What's the matter with you?" the fat man asked.

"Come to our room for a meeting later and let's discuss what to do next."

"good."

After hearing Fatty's promise, Luo Yi left. He also wanted to inform the people in 406.

Unexpectedly, the door of 404 behind him suddenly opened at this time, and Jiang Cheng's head poked out of the door, shouting: "Brother Luo Yi, please stay!"

When Luo Yi heard this, he turned around and looked at Jiang Cheng with a strange expression.

"Let's come to our room for a meeting later," Jiang Cheng said confidently, "This way I will feel more valued."

Luo Yi was stunned for a moment, as if he didn't understand Jiang Cheng's intention, but he still nodded and said, "Okay, then hurry up and clean up."

20 minutes later, everyone gathered in room 404.

It rained last night, but today it is a rare good weather.

The first ray of morning light broke through the clouds and fog.

Spread evenly into the room.

When you open the window, you can still smell the refreshing smell after the rain.

In view of their views on Luo Yi yesterday, several people in 406 didn't like him very much.

Zhou Taifu even made no secret of his suspicion towards him.

As the mission deadline approaches, the atmosphere becomes increasingly tense.

"There's not much time left," Luo Yi's expression turned pale, and he felt everyone's rejection of him.

But he didn't explain, because it would only make things more difficult.

"You don't have to say this?" Zhou Taifu muttered. He felt more confident because Yu Wen was sitting with him at the moment. "When the celebration opens, we will all die here!"

Luo Yi's face darkened when he heard this.

Zhen Jianren glanced at Zhou Taifu and sneered: "I'm afraid Mr. Zhou is still too optimistic."

"What do you mean?"

"Do you think we can still survive until that time?" Zhen Jianren unbuttoned his shirt and stared at him and said, "The ghost disappeared in the second rehearsal, which shows that it has completed some kind of transformation, and some of the previous rules

It can no longer be contained."

"I think the third rehearsal is our last chance. If we can't end this mission before the third rehearsal, everyone will die!"

The fat man swallowed his saliva and asked in a low voice: "Then who knows when the third rehearsal will be?"

No one answered.

The fat man felt relieved a little.

"Tomorrow," Yu Wen suddenly spoke. She took out a small red mobile phone from her pocket, shook it and said, "Feng Lan informed me 10 minutes ago."
