39. Mysterious Mystery House(1/2)

In the small garden behind the Detective Detective Office, Merlin piled up the black magic items collected by Constantine, then took out a crystal bottle from his arms and pulled the lid.

"Are you going to burn them?"

Chas, who stood behind Merlin, asked:

"Is it okay to just burn it? I see that John's steps to deal with these things are complicated every time."

"Believe me, just burn it."

Merlin poured the silver-white liquid from the bottle onto the dangerous thing in front of him. The Fiery Holy Water and the black magic power wrapped around these items entangled. In the conflict and collision, a white flame rushed up in front of the two of them.

"ah"

One by one, twisted invisible things were beating in the flames, and they made sharp hissings, trying to get rid of the flames that eliminated the demons, which were some evil spirits, or some strange things.

The reason why black magic items are dangerous is that most of them have evil spirits living in it or are filled with dangerous things.

Ordinary people cannot see the evil spirits that are rolling and twisting in the flames, and it is difficult to hear the screams and curses they make when they die. They can only see this ball of white fire that is burning violently, just like someone constantly adding firewood to the flames.

But how could Chas, who could have been with an unlucky guy like Constantine for more than ten years without any accident?

Merlin turned around and saw Chas twisting his body with an uneasy look on his face, as if he wanted to stay away from the flame.

"Can you see?"

Merlin asked:

"Or can you hear it?"

“Everything can.”

Chas nodded anxiously, and he turned his head and told himself not to look at the evil spirits screaming in the flames. He said tremblingly:

"John said that my vision was high, and he said it was not a good thing, and he rarely allowed me to participate in his affairs."

“This is indeed not a good thing.”

Merlin stood up and lit a cigarette before the burning white fire, and he said to Chas:

"You can see things that ordinary people cannot see, which means you will bear the pressure that ordinary people do not need to bear. The twisted things that breed from the darkness will always distort the will of ordinary people. Even if you take a look, you may drive you crazy."

"But you're lucky."

Merlin glanced at Chas and said:

"Maybe Constantine has been secretly protecting you."

"What should I do?"

Chas Chandler, an ordinary New York taxi driver, was a little panicked. He asked for help and said to Merlin:

"I don't want to see them either, it's not what I want."

"Find a time to go to Hell's Kitchen."

Merlin squirted a breath of smoke and he said to Chas:

"Go to find a place called Blood House, where you sell some magical items that ordinary people can use. You go and tell the shop owner that Merlin introduced you to you. Of course, you have to prepare some money in advance, and the things in that place are not cheap."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it."

Chass took out his handkerchief and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He glanced at the extinguishing flames. He hugged several frames in his arms, which were pictures of Constantine. He said to Merlin:

"Then I will leave first?"

"Yeah, go."

Merlin nodded to him. When Chas was about to leave, Merlin suddenly asked:

"Speaking of this, you have been a taxi driver for several years. Do you know a guy named Du Pengde?"

"Dupengde?"

Chas turned around and a smile appeared on his face, he said:

"That's my good friend. We both often discuss music together, well, he would recommend some great music to me."

"Well."

Merlin just asked casually, but she didn't expect that the guy in front of her actually knew the lucky driver Du Pengde. He watched Chas leave the house and whispered:

"The two lucky guys are actually friends, and their tastes are so consistent, so is this the mutual attraction between lucky guys?"

As he spoke, he took out the key left by Constantine from his pocket and looked at it carefully.

The key is inconspicuous, with bronze rust on it, which looks like an ancient style, but an obscure layer of magic wrapped around the key, covering every corner of the key evenly.

It's not ordinary.

I don't know where Constantine found this thing.

"But since there is a key, there must be a corresponding door."

Merlin held the key and looked back at Constantine's detective office. After a moment, he walked to the door, and he gestured the key to the door lock.

These two are obviously not compatible.

But when Merlin inserted the wide key into the narrow lock, the strange key entered the lock without any obstacle.

This made Merlin raise his eyebrows.

The next moment, he tried to twist the key, and the closed door was pushed open with a slight sound of the lock.

But wherever I see, it is no longer the narrow and dilapidated detective office of Constantine, but instead it is a house filled with darkness.

The area is several times larger than Constantine's detective firm.

"No wonder, even Fury can't find you in the past few years."

Merlin pulled out the key and walked into the house in front of him. He looked at the furnishings of the house left and right.

It was already very damaged, there was no complete piece of glass on the windows, the floor was rubbing on it, there were miserable cracks in the ceiling below the second floor, the ground was covered with various thrown and littered garbage. In the fireplace at the end of the hall, there were fragments of unknown items, which seemed to have been used to be used as fuel for heating. The oil paintings hanging on the walls seemed to have been burned, and the characters in the oil paintings looked extremely terrifying.

There is no light, no trace of light, and here is a darker darker than the night.

"Click"

Behind Merlin, the door suddenly closed as if it was blown by the wind. It was like a closed cage, trapping the reckless person who had entered the dangerous place in this strange room.

"Swish"

The next moment, in the hall in front of Meilin, three candle-like lights lit up at the same time, but the light was a strange and obscure green. The green light illuminated the hall, making the already dilapidated room look even more cunning.

The temperature is falling.

Merlin stretched out his fingers, and a faint frost appeared on his fingertips. When the three lights were on, the temperature in the room was falling wildly. In just a few seconds, it had dropped to a level that was enough to freeze ordinary people.

"What's this?"

Merlin curled up his fingers and gently bounced towards the broken fireplace at the end of the hall. A ball of rolling black smoke roared through the hall and smashed into the fireplace. The next moment, the red flame lit in the fireplace, which was supported by Merlin's magic, and it did not require any fuel to help burn.

And the moment the flames burned, the rushing cold air in the house quickly dissipated.

The whole house became really brighter and warmer.

Merlin walked towards the fireplace. As he approached the fireplace, he saw a residual image next to the fireplace. It should have been the image of the previous owner of this strange house.

There was only a dark shadow. Judging from his height and figure, it should be that guy Constantine.

When you get closer, Merlin can still hear the sound, as if she is watching a 3D movie that is not very clear.

"Zatana! You cheated me!"

Constantine's image screamed, and he let out an unpleasant scream, waving his hands, constantly throwing out a mass of energy, as if he was resisting something dangerous.

In Merlin's gaze, the image was forced to retreat step by step, retreating to the fireplace. It lowered its head and glanced at the fireplace. It said:

"The fire is almost extinguished. There are too many resentful spirits, I can't stand it!"

"Come again next time!"

After saying that, the image ran away. Under Merlin's gaze, it rushed towards the door and then disappeared.

This seems to be what Constantine encountered last time she explored the house.

"Zatana? Who is it? It sounds like a girl."

Merlin stretched out his hand and pulled out the silver sword Vlad from his magic pocket. While slowly taking out a bottle of evil spirit sword oil and applying it to Vlad's sharp blade, he turned around while thinking.

Behind him, under the illumination of the green light, one after another, with a ferocious face and a distorted body, floating out from under the floor.

On the wall of the hall, the surface of the dozen burned oil paintings was trembling with green halos like water waves. They held spirit swords and stretched their tongues. They only had their upper body covered with broken gauze and were carrying dark green chandeliers in their hands, crawling out of the broken painting.

"This quantity"

Meilin looked at the dense sea of resentment in front of him, and moved his shoulders:

"No wonder Constantine, who has mastered so many black magic, was forced to escape. This room looks like a spirit sealing barrier."

Meilin held the sword in his left hand and pinched a magic seal with his right hand, and gently swung it towards the ground. The next moment, six purple magic arcs surged out around the hall, like six pillars, and a hexagonal magic barrier was built in the hall.

This is the Aden Dharma Seal, a magic seal dedicated to tying magic creatures. Within the scope of the influence of this Dharma Seal, all spiritual bodies that can be transformed into virtual and real will be forced to appear in the form of a physical body.

This is a tactic used by witch hunters specifically to deal with dangerous evil spirits.
