64. The time of recovery from hibernation (Part 2)(2/2)

Larson replied:

“I have two requirements.”

"First, during the period when I helped you, you also want to help me. I need the knowledge of the Dark Book. That book is still in this world. I can feel that you want to help me find it."

"Secondly, it has to do with the experiment you asked me to do. To ensure that those samples can last longer, and to ensure their future practical capabilities, I need some additional gene fragments. Have you ever heard of a mutant named Logan who is so strong that healing is almost immortal?"

A glimmer of light flashed in Mrs. Larson's eyes, she said:

"I want his blood, the more the better!"

"Yes, I'll find a way to do this."

Pierce agreed readily, and he reminded:

"It's better not to stay on the East Coast anymore. It's no longer safe. When you recover, go to Colorado."

"Um."

Mrs. Lars nodded, and at the end of the call, she asked again:

"What's the name of that place? And don't tell me which company you gave me, you gave it a weird name."

"No, no at all."

Pierce whispered:

"I gave it a great name, protector of the new order of the umbrella."

"As for your lab, it's in a place called Raccoon City."

"Raccoon City? Never heard of it."

"Haha, isn't that better?"

"That was the first time I saw so many people die because of me, displaced because of me, and the strong guilt made me almost unable to breathe."

In the hall of the mysterious house, Merlin was lying on the sofa, and he told his past stories in a low tone. Judging from his expression, this kind of chat that could open his heart made Merlin's mental state better.

But instead, on the sofa next to him, Miss Zatanna's expression was not very good-looking.

She is a sentimental person with a valuable empathy character. She is attracted by Merlin's story, a bumpy, dark and a glimmer of hope and light.

"It was also at that time that I finally realized that when you face those relentless problems, escaping cannot solve the problem."

Merlin said:

"You can only choose to face it, or continue to let the innocent die because of you, and then live your life as a coward and a sinner in the shadow of those deaths."

"I chose to face it. I am very glad that the choice at that time made me now. At least there is a sharp part of my personality, which comes from the choice at that time."

Speaking of this, Merlin suddenly opened his eyes, turned his head to look at Zatanna, and he smiled and said:

"It's already late at night, Zatanna, it's time for you to go home. Thank you for listening to my nagging for so long."

"No, no, we still have time."

Zatanna looked at her watch in a hurry. It was less than an hour passed, and it was still far from the limit of being alone. What's more, if you can't finish listening to the story, you can't design a hypnotic method according to the context of the story to complete the in-depth spiritual communication between her and Merlin.

The magician coughed a few times, and reached out his hand seriously and pressed Meilin who was trying to get up again on the sofa. She sat beside Meilin, the fragrance of violet lingering. She said to Meilin seriously:

"I am a doctor, you are a patient, Merlin, listen to me."
