7. The Decepticons Are Coming
"I'm an old man, Fury."
In the bedroom of Pierce's ward, Alexander Pierce, who was woken up from an uneasy sleep, held a cup of hot tea and looked at Fury standing in front of the bed in a bit of energy.
The old man yawned and said to Fury with a tired look on his face:
"I am used to going to bed at 10 o'clock every night, especially now that I am injured, and the doctor told me not to stay up late. In fact, if I miss this time, I will be in pain in the second half of the night. You have to be more considerate of me, Fury."
"I know, Pierce."
Fury's face was unapologetic and he said to Pierce:
"But this time it's a real big deal."
"What's up?"
Pierce took a sip of hot tea and rubbed his forehead, and he said:
"Is there another problem with the mutant?"
"No, no, it's about the Ministry of Defense, their seventh district..."
Fury was about to take out the U disk that Merlin gave him, but as he reached his finger into his pocket, he suddenly felt the hexagonal detector that Merlin gave him was vibrating slightly.
This made Fury take out the U disk and stop.
He looked at everything in Pierce's ward, and after a moment Fury's eyes fell on an old antique radio placed beside the windowsill.
It was a very simple ore radio, something that only true nostalgic music fans would collect, but few people know that this very old and simple ore radio was often used by spies for a period of time.
In the era when Pierce was active, this kind of thing was still being used. Pierce placed it in his bedroom, probably out of a nostalgia for the past.
"What happened to that seventh district?"
Pierce saw Fury stop talking, and the awakened old man was so angry that he asked:
"Say, Fury! Didn't we send agents to see it last time? There's no problem there."
"No, there's a big problem, Pierce."
Fury said casually, pretending to approach the windowsill unintentionally. The closer he got to the black ore radio, the faster the detector in Fury's pocket jumped.
This made Fury sure that there must be something wrong with the Pierce collection in front of him.
He turned his head and shook Pierce.
Although Pierce is in a high position now and has stopped involved in the agent operations since a long time ago, he is still a very keen person. After seeing Fury's wink, Pierce was stunned for a moment, and then said as usual:
"Oh? What's the problem there? Tell me."
"We found traces of the Decepticon there..."
Fury turned around, quietly grasped the pistol in the holster at his waist, and then turned on the insurance, he said:
"They think they hide well, they play us like fools, but in fact, they don't know, we've discovered it."
At this moment, Fury turned around suddenly, aimed the pistol in his hand at Pierce's ore radio collection, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
"Bang, bang, bang"
Three gunshots made other collections that were placed on the windowsill rot, but the black ore radio was unharmed as the sparks pounded from the bullets.
To be precise, this collection grew two legs and ran away.
As Fury and Pierce watched in surprise, the black radio quickly changed its appearance, and in the blink of an eye it turned into a robot that was only the size of a fist, but had precision mechanical modules all over its body, and even equipped with small weapons. As Fury's muzzle was moving, it made sharp and harsh sound waves, while jumping off the windowsill quickly, bypassing Fury's blockage, and rushed towards Pierce.
"Hell! Stop it, Fury!"
The old man Pils has also seen the world. He was not in a hurry because of the raid of this little steel devil. While cursing, he threw out the teacup in his hand.
"Bang"
The exquisite ceramic tea cup hit the floor, and the scorching tea poured the robot rushing towards him, but it did not stop the running, screaming robot.
The guy waved his super-small ray gun in his left hand, and kept firing out slender rays to prevent Fury from approaching. A sharp blade popped up in his other hand, jumped onto Pierce's hospital bed with agility, waved the blade and rushed towards Pierce's head.
Obviously, this disguised Cybertron is definitely not just eavesdropping on Pierce and Fury’s conversation, it is hidden here, for a more sinister purpose.
It comes for assassination.
If Fury hadn't noticed its existence in advance, I'm afraid that after Fury left, Pierce would have died in the hospital bed.
Seeing the strange-looking silver robot rushing towards him, Pierce burst out with a strong desire to survive in a critical moment. He grabbed the thing at his hand and slapped the damn robot in front of him hard.
"Bang"
The desk lamp in Pierce's hand hit the body of the robot that jumped into the air. Amid the scorching debris of the desk lamp, the steel little devil was smashed to the other end of the room. The little robot flew out and threw out the knife in his hand, almost rubbing Pierce's face and nailed it to the wall next to Pierce's head.
"Bang"
The noise and gunfire in the house also alarmed the protectors outside the door. The security personnel around Pierce rushed into the room. Under Pierce's scolding, the agents rushed towards the little robot in the corner.
It has nowhere to escape.
"Damn!"
Pierce, who was lying on the bed, felt his back was wet. Although he had a real war career in the rain of bullets in his life when he was young, he was old now.
He looked at the little flying knife that was nailed beside him, almost completely sank into the wall. He couldn't help but touch the bloody wound that was pulled out of his cheek. He felt like he had survived the disaster.
"Get one."
Fury took out a cigar from the bedside table where Pierce was laser cut and handed it to the shocked old man. The latter did not refuse and held the cigar in his mouth and let Fury light it for him.
"Furo..."
Pierce grew a breath of smoke and calmed down a little. He looked at the irritable little robot that was being clamped from the corner by agents with pliers, and he said to Fury:
"What's that?"
"That's what I'm going to come to you tonight and say to you."
Fury held the gun and walked to the silver little robot that was fixed to the wall with two iron pliers and screamed endlessly. He looked at the slender, sharp, and seemed to have a very technological gadget, and he said:
"The Decepticons of Cybertron, some war dealers who want to find their leaders on Earth. Merlin told me that these guys have been lurking on Earth and have worked with some corrupt elements of the Ministry of Defense. Now it seems that they are not just working together, Pierce."
"They cooperated, I can understand that."
Pierce said:
"But it, this little ghost thing, why did it assassinate me? I have no conflict with them."
"I guess you're being implicated by us, Pierce."
Fury turned around and said to Pierce:
"A few hours ago, the scientists under Merlin tracked the whereabouts of the Decepticon, but were counterattacked by these guys. In a desperate situation, Merlin asked the scientists to blow up the base where the Decepticon and the Ministry of Defense to cooperate remotely, and obtained evidence of the cooperation between the Decepticon and the Ministry of Defense. Those Decepticons may want to retaliate, and those scum who cooperated with aliens did not want their scandal to be exposed. They had to take action in advance and eliminate all those who would know their secrets."
"Pearce, you are the chairman of SHIELD who firmly supports. In order not to let you interfere with the current situation, they sent an alien killer to monitor you or kill you. Anyway, if something happens, they won't be able to find out."
Fury shrugged, he said:
"I guess these are all, but I think the truth is almost the same."
As soon as Fury finished speaking, a huge explosion rang out of Pierce's manor. Fury walked to the window, and a moment later he turned back to Pierce and said:
"My car was blown up... Look, they don't plan to let me go. It's time to transfer, Pierce, those guys won't let it go."
"Then let's go!"
Pierce was also a decisive person. He waved his hand, and a strong agent immediately walked to the bedside and carried Pierce behind him with a disability behind him. Another agent put on a pajamas for Pierce.
The chairman glanced at the robot fixed to the wall and said to Fury:
“Take it away too.”
"Need not."
Fury walked to the assassination robot, he raised his gun, fired five shots without even looking at it, and then picked up the robot's metal head and scattered parts from the wreckage on the ground, and he said to Pierce:
"The best thing about meeting these bastards is that you don't need to show mercy to them. As long as the database and processor are still there, the memories in their minds will not disappear."
"You should have a secret passage for escape in your room, right?"
"Um."
Pierce pointed to the bookcase and said:
"Let's go there, it's really noisy tonight."
The old man turned his head and looked at the manor that had already started to burn outside the field. He said with a deep face:
"Also, tell Merlin..."
"Let him let go! Everything turns out... I'll hold him over!"

"Pearce was assassinated? Did the Decepticon do it?"
On the other side, deep in the Middle East desert, Merlin stood on the dune. In the cold wind at night, he looked at Fury's expression on Icarus' lenses with surprise, and he asked:
"Is that old man okay?"
"Pearce is fine. Although he doesn't say anything, I know he's been frightened. After all, he's old."
Fury said to Merlin:
"It's not just Pierce, I just got the news. Just now, the Trident headquarters was also invaded by suspected assassination robots, with no casualties, but our database encryption module was cracked... They were looking for the missing information, Merlin."
"Well, it seems that my meeting with you is not hidden from those robots that can monitor the world."
Merlin rubbed her chin and said:
"Don't worry about the secrets in our database being leaked. I've already told George that he will do his best to protect those important information from being stolen, but you'd better find a few people to help and find a few people who are good at data processing and defense."
"I've searched for it."
Fury said:
"Dr. Reed Richards, Dr. Lex Luke, and some well-known data experts, all accepted Pierce's invitation to help us deal with the global data crisis caused by the Decepticons. But these smart people can only be responsible for logistics. Merlin, to deal with those arrogant robots, you and your friends will probably have to take action."
"We've lurked in front of their base where Tinder and Mike Chuang are placed."
Merlin replied:
"We are planning to rush in..."
"Hey, look there, Merlin, we're in big trouble."
Arsey, who was lying beside Merlin, reached out and patted Merlin's back and pointed to the sky. Merlin raised her head and saw more than a dozen meteorites like flame meteors falling from the dark sky, like a damn meteor shower.
Merlin and his three Cybertan friends stood up from the desert, and the scorching meteors illuminated the sky, stretching their figures in the darkness, and now there is no need to disguise.
In the pale light of the falling meteors in clusters, Merlin could vaguely see the mechanical body as complex and huge as a bumblebee.
Obviously, it was not a real meteor, but another batch of mechanical life that fell into the earth at this critical moment, undoubtedly, they also came from Cybertron.
"Shet!"
Meilin looked at the dozens of meteors that fell into the depths of the desert, and he cursed without emotion.
"What's wrong?"
Fury on the other end of the communicator asked:
"What happened?"
"The Decepticon summoned the Decepticon..."
Merlin moved his fingers and said:
"I mean, they summoned their accomplices from outer space...their actions were really decisive."
“What should I do now?”
Alsey glanced at Meilin, who looked silent beside her, and the young lady of steel said:
"They summoned a lot of accomplices, and it is difficult for us to have a chance of winning against each other. Do you have any countermeasures?"
"Um."
Merlin pushed his glasses and said:
"They won't let us retreat so easily. It's too late to run now. Why not take this opportunity to let me see the strength of the Decepticons. But our number is at a disadvantage. Even if we finally break through, we need a strong responder. Well, it seems that we have to contact our friends."
"Give me a few seconds."
A few seconds later, the communication on Icarus' lens was connected at this moment, and Merlin cleared her throat, saying:
"Clark...is he still busy lately?"
