23. Namor. The Revealer
“Merlin?”
In this remote sea, Namo was holding the triangle crystal bottle in his hand, and he looked at the beating white light.
This is a memory bottle used to seal the extracted memories.
Namo was not a ignorant person either. He had heard that wizards on land had such spells.
But he didn't expect that he was one of the people who experienced this magic.
Namo was not a reckless person. During his years of wandering, he already knew that he had to be cautious when dealing with wizards.
Instead of opening the memory bottle immediately, he raised his head and looked at Arthur in front of him.
He said:
"I know Merlin, he released me and some poor kids from a bad guy, and I owe him a favor."
"But why did he ask you to deliver this bottle? Why didn't he come by himself?"
"I don't know, man."
Arthur stood on the water, leaning on his trident, and he said to Namo, who was alert with helplessness:
"I'm just a delivery guy. Uncle Meilin won't explain it clearly to me, but I know he looks very busy."
Arthur spoke, and from time to time he even glanced at the silver trident in Namo's hand.
He was originally very satisfied with his new gift, but when he saw the trident in Namo's hand, he immediately felt that the weapon in his hand was weak and explosive.
It doesn't taste good at all.
Arthur was not an unsavory person. He could see the magic light floating on Namo's trident at a glance.
The waves lingering on the sharp spear's tip were like the sword in the hands of his teacher Vico,
Those are all advanced magic weapons.
But how to say it, that thing may be precious, but it is definitely not as valuable as the vibrating trident in your hand.
When he thought of this, Arthur, whose mind was a little divergent, felt a little balanced.
After all, he is just a 23-year-old man and cannot be asked how mature he is.
Seeing that Namo was still hesitating, Arthur said:
"What exactly is in that bottle? Only you can know if you open it yourself. Speaking of which, I have never seen you before, right? Mr. Namo, why do I think we are quite close?"
"Because the blood is calling."
Namo said without raising her head:
"We keep the same blood, kids."
"child?"
Arthur snorted:
"You look only 2 or 30 years old, right?"
"I was born in 1921 and am in my 90s this year."
Namo replied, and Arthur was speechless.
Well, the old man in his 90s is indeed qualified to call him "child".
"What does the same blood mean?"
Arthur asked again:
"I don't remember my father had brothers, so, you mean, are you a relative of my mother? Are you in your 90s and your younger brother?"
"It depends on who your mother is"
Namo stared at the memory bottle in his hand. He seemed to have made up his mind and reached out to put it on the bottle cap. He glanced at Arthur and said:
"I guess you are Atlana's son, right?"
“!!!”
Arthur suddenly became nervous, he held the trident tightly, and he looked at Namo:
"How do you know?"
“It’s very simple.”
At this moment, Namo twisted open the bottle cap, and the white memory, which was beating like a fish, quickly ran through his arms and rushed into his mind through his nostrils.
It was as if the vacant piece was finally filled.
At those moments of the extracted memory reply, Namo whispered:
"Atlana is my aunt, you should call me cousin."
"Buzz"
Flashback scenes appeared in Namo's heart.
He saw himself and Merlin talking in the secret room of the Mexican swamp, saw Merlin handing him the silver trident, and also saw him and Merlin make an agreement.
"You won't remember this agreement."
"You won't even remember that we both talked."
"What you have to do is to integrate into that warm home and make everyone trust you."
“When a moment comes, you will know what I need you to do.”
Merlin's ethereal voice echoed in Namo's ears. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes and subconsciously looked at the silver trident in his hand.
Oh, it turns out that I owe Merlin more than a favor.
I owe two
And now, it's time to pay off the debt.
"call"
Namo breathed a sigh of relief and threw the memory bottle in his hand into the sea.
He moved his shoulders and looked at Arthur who was tangled. A smile flashed across his handsome and handsome face, and he said:
"Now, what does Merlin want me to do?"
"I have no idea."
Arthur spread his hands and said to Namo to his cousin:
"Uncle Merlin really didn't tell me what he needed you to do, he just asked me to hand over this bottle to you."
"Hmm? Is that true?"
Namo stroked his chin and a ray of light flashed in his narrowed eyes.
He should be considered a secret chess burying Merlin in the utopia, but now he has been activated, Merlin has not told him what he wants to do through his cousin.
This means that either the young man in front of him missed some key information.
Or, it means that Merlin is cautious now, and what he needs to do himself may not be implemented yet.
Or, he might have other ways to notify him.
"This is very consistent with the Agent Chief's mode of action, and never put all the eggs in one basket."
Namo curled his lips, he complained, and then looked at Arthur in front of him.
He lay back on the reef, basking in the sun, waved to Arthur, signaling the young man to sit next to him.
"Come here, let's talk, cousin."
Namo said:
"I never knew that there was another person in this world who was as similar to me. I think there must be a lot of common topics to talk about between us."
Arthur hesitated for a moment, and he carried the trident behind him, stepped on the water, and walked to the edge of the reef.
He sat beside Namo, he said:
"You said you called my mom an aunt? Is there any evidence?"
"evidence?"
Namo thought for a while and took out a pendant from his pocket, which was very similar to the silver trident pendant on Arthur's neck.
He waved the thing before Arthur's eyes, and he said:
"Is this counting? You should have one of the emblems of the Atlantis royal family, and I feel its breath."
Arthur took off the pendant around his neck, and he compared the two pendants, and then returned the Namo to him, he said:
"Well, I believe it. Although I don't know much about Atlantis, I think you shouldn't lie to me."
"Do you know nothing about Atlantis?"
Namo looked at Arthur and said:
"Your hairstyle, beard, did you grow up on land?"
"Um."
Arthur sat on the reef, playing with the stone in front of him with some boredom. He looked at the endless sea in front of him, and said:
"I grew up on land since I was a child. I still don't remember when my mother was taken away."
"When I was a kid, I always felt that my father was lying to me. The love story of the Lighthouse Guardian and the Underwater Queen didn't sound like it was true."
"But it wasn't until one day when I fell into the sea and was lifted up by a dolphin, that I realized that it was all true."
"Namor Well, cousin, can you tell me that my mom is still alive?"
Arthur's question made Namo blink and he asked:
"If you ask this, it means that you actually have the answer in your heart, right?"
"well."
Arthur closed his eyes and said:
"My father has always been full of hope and has been waiting, but as for me, I may be more rational."
"How could this actually happen that a mother abandoned her son? She hasn't come back for more than 20 years to see her. She is either a cold-blooded and ruthless person, or it means that she may have already."
This young man, like a lion, was a little sad, he said:
"I suspect Uncle Merlin and Vico know, but they chose not to tell me, I understand, but occasionally I feel uncomfortable."
"Don't feel bad."
Namo reached out and patted his cousin on the shoulder, and he sat up and said to Arthur:
"The same goes for my mother. She was expelled from her hometown just because she had feelings for a landlord."
"Aunt Atlana is pretty good. At least she died in the sea and in her hometown, but my mother died on land and she was unwilling to return to the sea when she was dying."
"Hometown made her heart broken, and I also made me hurt."
Namo was silent for a moment, and he said to Arthur:
"Arthur, brother, listen to me, I feel that fate has made us meet now."
"Fate is roaring and bringing two orphans who have lost their mother together"
"Avenge your loved ones!"
"revenge?"
Arthur looked at Namo blankly, whose face was full of indifference, and he whispered:
"You guessed that your mother died, but do you know how she died?"
"Let me tell you, brother, your mother is her nominal husband, the cruel king of the sea, Ovax, and threw her into the deepest trench in the sea!"
"That's the territory of the Trench Clan, do you know the Trench Clan?"
Arthur did not answer, but from his tight fists, the anger and hatred that emerged in his face and eyes, Namo knew that Arthur obviously understood what kind of treatment his mother had suffered.
Namo patted Arthur on the shoulder and he whispered:
"That is the most terrible punishment in the sea, and it is only used to punish those who are unforgivable, but Arthur, ask yourself, is your mother a who is unforgivable?"
"As the descendant of the noblest bloodline in the sea, should she suffer such terrible torture?"
"Bang"
The reef under Arthur's feet cracked a crack under the out-of-control power, and Arthur's face was like a roaring lion.
He didn't speak, but the truth revealed by Namo had successfully ignited the flames in Arthur's heart.
He could accept the fact that his mother died.
But he couldn't accept that his mother was murdered
No son can accept it!
"What you want is not a memory, Arthur."
Namo said:
"What you want is revenge, with me, to revenge the decaying, damn underwater dynasty, which should have been destroyed, and to pull the cruel and insane Ovax off his throne, and to kneel before your mother's grave and listen to his repentance!"
"Then, cut off his head with your own hands!"
"I can feel that you want to do this, and you should do this too, brother, come and help me!"
Namo said to Arthur:
"With our joint efforts, we can set off a storm that blows down the rotten world of Atlantis."
"The dynasty established by our ancestors has fallen so badly that we, the descendants of Atlan, have the responsibility to make it great again."
Namo stood up, and he reached out to the silent Arthur, and he said:
"Brother, let's come together."
Arthur looked at the hand in front of him, and the flames inside him were roaring, asking him to hold the hand.
But just as Arthur wanted to raise his hand, a sharp vortex suddenly rose in front of the sea.
"Stay away from him! Namo! The poisonous snake born in your deep sea!"
The roar of anger of Vico, the underwater man, rose from the water, and the king's servant jumped off his sea horse.
He pulled out his battle knife with great momentum and rushed towards Namo.
But Namo didn't care.
He didn't even take up his weapons to fight Vico who was killing him. He just looked at this scene calmly, as if everything was under control.
As Vico's sword slashed down, a golden light rose between the two.
"Bang"
There was a loud bang.
Arthur, holding a golden trident, stood in front of Namo. He blocked the blow. He looked at Vico in front of him. The teacher who had been teaching him since childhood was also full of shock.
"Arthur, you"
"Vico"
Arthur's eyes stared at his mentor like an angry lion, and he asked in a trembling tone:
"Tell me, Vico, how did my mother die?"
"Don't listen to Namo's talk, Arthur, child."
Vico put away his sword, he took a step back, and the thin underwater man explained to his disciples:
"Namor has been a wanted criminal in Atlantis since several years ago. He committed terrible crimes in various seas, with at least thousands of brave soldiers dead at his hands, including a general of Atlantis!"
"He is promoting a dangerous and radical idea that he is a venomous snake, he is interfering with you!"
"I just want to know, Vico!"
Arthur could no longer listen to these advices at this time, and he questioned:
"I just want to know, how did my mother die?"
"Look directly at me, Vico, you are one of the people I trust the most. I want to listen to you tell me! Tell me! Tell me the truth!"
"I"
At this moment, Vico didn't even dare to look Arthur in the eyes.
He and Queen Atlana grew up together, and the two maintained a deep friendship.
Although the relationship could not be further improved due to status, Vico always regarded Arthur as his son.
How could he tell Arthur the end of Atlana's tragic ending?
He could have imagined that one day Arthur would know about his mother.
But he didn't expect that this day would come so quickly, and the truth was told by someone who should not have contacted Arthur.
"Okay, Arthur, brother!"
Namo reached out and placed it on Arthur's shoulder, he said:
"Don't make things difficult for the poor Vico. He is the most loyal servant of His Majesty the King. He is only loyal to the throne. He and Aunt Atlana sent me and my mother out of my hometown."
"He is a rare good person in that decadent dynasty. You shouldn't be so rude."
Namo stepped forward and protected Arthur, and he said to Vico who glared at him:
"Don't look at me like that, Uncle Vico"
"I always remember your kindness to my mother and me. But there are some things that Arthur and I have to do. Your king is too cruel and his existence is painful for anyone."
"Go back, Uncle Vico."
Namo raised his hand, and the silver trident flew into his palm in a howling whistling, and he said to Vico:
"I promise you that I will not involve Arthur in danger. He is too young to deal with this war we must fight. Those shameful lives, those bloody things that are stained with hands, I will do it for him."
"I will protect my brother, just as you have been protecting him."
"But Arthur will eventually go back to Atlantis with me!"
"This is his mission, something he must accomplish!"
In the sea where the storm suddenly changed and lightning was everywhere, a storm was brewing. In the whistling of the storm, Namo said sternly:
"Let your king wait, the ghosts of the past created by him will look for him."
