Chapter 1,639: Cangbi salutes heaven, Huang Cong salutes earth

By comparing the handed down tools, we can see that the five-section animal face patterns on the Cong-style bottle are the only patterns in the Cong-style bottles of the official kiln of the Song Dynasty.

For example, it is hidden in the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln cong-style bottles hidden in the Wanwan Palace Museum, the Neon Tokyo National Museum, and the Yinglun Dawei Foundation.

and the Song official kiln cong-style bottle in the No. 1016, Shendu Hanhai in October 1995, all of which are five-section beast-faced patterns;

The body of such a Cong-style bottle is flawless, but the sound is like a tiles when knocked. This is the most unique, different from the crisp sound of the official kilns in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Of course, it is also different from the sound of metal and stone imitating the official organs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Especially the slightly shiny light gray body, although the texture is not as delicate as the official kiln at the suburbs of the Southern Song Dynasty, it is more solid and far more moisturizing than the Ru kiln in the Northern Song Dynasty.

This is in line with the laws of the development of the times and the fetal conditions of the area where Bianjing is located;

The Cong-style bottles of this period had thick glaze and moisturized like fat, and the glaze surface was slightly uneven, with a small amount of bubble breaking and glaze shrinking spots.

Unlike the flatness and brightness of the glaze surface of Yonggan imitation official instruments, it should belong to the era style that the green glaze in the Northern Song Dynasty should have;

There are dense bubbles in the glaze layer, which are uneven and uneven.

Unlike the imitation of the official organs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the bubbles in the glaze are neat and sparse and orderly;

The ring foot is wide and thick, the foot is round, and the foot ridge shows clear bamboo scratches.

This is a common standard for Ru kiln and Longquan kiln ring foot.

It is also the interpretation of the Northern Song Dynasty official kiln on the basis of Ru kiln four-sided corner box and large-circle foot Ru kiln washing;

The body-protecting glaze is applied on the foot, and the color is deep, which is the craftsmanship feature of the famous kilns of the Song Dynasty.

Typical examples include the Jun kiln of the Northern Song Dynasty, Longquan kiln and the Xiuneishi official kiln of the Southern Song Dynasty. Sesame paste-colored glaze or ochre-red glaze is often used to apply the foot base to modify it, and to avoid sticking to the kiln;

The letters are carved in a chisel, with vigorous and standardized fonts. As for whether they were carved in the Northern Song Dynasty, it is still necessary to further verify.

However, in terms of the word "record" in the inscription, the Song Dynasty was the most frequently used in the dynasties.

The most classic application is the Song Dynasty. It is not only porcelain, but also mostly found in seals, calligraphy and painting, etc., with a distinct atmosphere of the times.

In addition, a modern Cong-style bottle has a transparent colorless opening inside and outside the instrument, which has shown varying degrees of light yellow;

The glaze inside the bottom foot is as bright as before, and the ice cracks are still colorless and clear.

The first two items are generally related to the sun and moon offerings and incense immersion in "Guanyin Temple", as well as the wipes and touches of the offeror and the collector;

The latter item should be related to the straight wall and ring foot of the object itself, which inadvertently acts as a barrier to block the infiltration of the outside world.

These also contain a lot of information, which is the true nature of the Cong-style bottle in the Song Dynasty and its powerful evidence after nine centuries.

Chen Wenzhe naturally had to imitate such a classic instrument.

When I really wanted to imitate the Cong-style bottle, Chen Wenzhe discovered that this kind of bottle was really interesting.

For example, Cong-style bottles were first seen in the Song Dynasty, and are generally believed to have appeared in the Southern Song Dynasty.

However, it has been discovered that Cong-style bottles have been produced since the Northern Song Dynasty.

Now, the Buyi Zhuang family of Qilu has a collection of a Cong-style bottle from the Northern Song Dynasty.

This confirms that Cong-style bottles were first produced in the Northern Song Dynasty.

The collection is 6 cm high and 9.5 cm wide. The bottom foot and the bottle mouth are both round and the diameter are 9 cm.

The outer square and the inner circle are round, and there are Bagua printed eucalyptus on the outer wall. The workmanship is fine, the lines are smooth, regular and atmospheric, and it is molded and synthesized.

Antique style was popular in the Song Dynasty. This bottle style was transformed by imitating the appearance of the jade cong from the Liangzhu culture of the Neolithic Age.

Both the official kilns in the Southern Song Dynasty and the Longquan kilns have this shape.

The cong among jadeware is generally square-column-shaped jadeware with round holes inside, and is a ritual vessel from the Neolithic period.

The shape of the instrument is a round mouth, a short neck, a square cylindrical long body, a ring foot, an orifice, and a similar size. Some instruments have raised horizontal lines on all sides of the instruments.

The instrument is round inside and square outside, which is to represent the theory that the sky is round and the place is round.

"The Book of Zhou" records: "The six instruments are made of jade to worship the heaven and earth. The blue jade is ceremonial, the yellow cong is ceremonial, the green gui is ceremonial, the red seal is ceremonial, the west is ceremonial, and the black huang is ceremonial."

The porcelain cong-style bottle follows the basic shape of the jade cong, but the jade is round inside and transparent up and down. The porcelain makers add ring foot and bottom to evolve into a bottle.

Since the emergence of the Song Dynasty, the firing of Cong-style bottles has also been carried forward to the Yuan Dynasty. Cong-style bottles are common in Longquan Kiln in the Yuan Dynasty.

During the Ming Dynasty, many such bottles were produced in Shiwan kilns in Guangdong Province.

Ge kiln also produces Cong-style bottles. Although this kind of Ge kiln Cong-style bottle is rare, it is not uncommon to imitate Ge kiln Cong-style bottles in later generations.

For example, the imitation of Ge kiln Bagua pattern Cong-style bottles in Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, and the imitation of Ge kiln Bagua pattern Cong-style bottles in Qianlong period.

In the Qing Dynasty, official kilns made a large number of Cong-style bottles, including blue and white, green glaze, white glaze, furnace glaze, imitation Jun glaze, imitation official glaze, imitation Ge kiln glaze and other varieties.

What is a famous kiln? In fact, it can be seen from later imitations.

The five famous kilns in the Northern Song Dynasty had imitations in later generations, such as imitation Ru glaze, imitation Ding glaze, imitation Jun glaze, imitation official glaze, imitation Ge kiln glaze, etc., which are all clear evidence.

The earliest porcelain Cong-style bottles were found in the official kilns and Longquan kilns of the Southern Song Dynasty.

In the Shiwan kiln in the Ming Dynasty, this type of shape was mostly decorated with moon white glaze.

After entering the Qing Dynasty, the horizontal line decoration of the instrument body evolved into the Bagua pattern, so it was also called the "Bagua bottle" in the later period.

This type of bottle is generally a round mouth, square body, straight belly, and ring foot.

The four sides of the instrument are decorated with raised horizontal and vertical lines, and the mouth is similar in size to the feet.

Different dynasties have their own characteristics in their shape.

Song official kiln cong-style bottle, short and large body;

The Song Dynasty dragon kiln cong-style bottle has a long and thin body.

In the Longquan kiln of the Yuan Dynasty, a one-piece cong-style bottle was also fired.

In the Ming and Qing dynasties, all of these dynasties were added together, and the products of the Song Dynasty were the best and the most rare.

In the auction market, any piece is expensive.

In the mid-1990s, a "pink and green cong-style bottle" launched by Christie's in the Southern Song Dynasty in a spring auction was finally sold for HK$253,000;

At the Shendu Hanhai Autumn Auction, a Song Dynasty official kiln Cong-style bottle was sold for RMB 9.02 million.

In the spring auction in 2006, Shendu Hanhai sold two lots, one was the official kiln cong-style bottle of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the other was the Longquan kiln cong-style bottle of the Southern Song Dynasty.

Among them, the Cong-style bottle of Longquan kiln in the Southern Song Dynasty was sold for 2.75 million yuan.

Ru Kiln has also produced many Cong-style bottles, but Ru Kiln produces many bottles, and the bottle changes are relatively rich.

In addition to the well-known dishes, plates, flower pots and washing in Ru kiln, the most famous one should be bottles.

There are paper hammer bottles, jade pot spring bottles, cong-style bottles, gallbladder bottles, etc.

In the Song Dynasty, the ancients began to use porcelain as ritual vessels, and the shapes of porcelain ritual vessels were derived from bronze, jade, etc.

Among them, the jade cong with deep meaning is an important object to be imitated.

The porcelain Cong-style bottle follows the basic shape of the jade Cong. There are generally two shapes, one is a multi-joint long cong, and the other is a short square short cong.

Among the Cong-style bottles produced in the Northern Song Dynasty, there were official kiln powder-green glazed Cong-style bottles, and the Ru kiln produced in the sky-green glazed Cong-style bottles.
