Chapter 183 The goal of order(1/3)

It was already early in the morning when I got home. When I walked into the front store, I saw Peake lying in the corner wrapped in a quilt. It was his turn to snore tonight.

In fact, there was no need to arrange a vigil anymore, because Karen had already moved here, but when Karen came back, this tradition was naturally picked up again by the two clerks in the store.

Karen saw Hilly walking out of the public bathroom. She looked at Karen with sleepy eyes and said:

"Master, do you need to prepare supper?"

"No, you can rest."

"Okay, Master."

Hilly walked into a small room.

So, has the maid at home also become a live-in person?

Karen returned to her bedroom, and Kevin got up from the doghouse and shook himself.

Pu'er was lying next to the bedside table, turning on the desk lamp, with his paws curled up in front of him, with a serious look on his face.

"What are you doing?"

"Contemplating."

"Um?"

"I can't allow others to discredit me like this." Pu'er said, "So, I want to publish an autobiography..."

"Oh, okay, who can help you write it?"

"Little John, I've already found him."

"You can show me the first draft after you've finished it."

"Of course, I allow you to be the first reader of my great work."

"I'm just worried that you might write something you shouldn't."

"How is it possible? I'm always very cautious. By the way, you guys are having dinner together so late. What new items have you added?"

Pu'er said, turned around and continued:

"I heard that after a work dinner among men, there is a tradition to go to a snack shop to have snacks."

"There is a very powerful person in the team named Gray. He is good at melee combat. I will go and learn from him."

"Did you fight?"

"Um."

"Oh, let me guess, the process is that you can't beat him but you make rapid progress."

"How do you know?"

"Well, you have to understand that I grew up watching Dis. When I watch the same movie for the second time, I will definitely be able to understand the plot, right?"

"Haha, I'm going to take a shower first. I'm tired and want to rest early."

"Of course, I have already warmed the bed for you."

"Then I might as well put a hot water bottle in."

"No, the temperature of water and body temperature are different!"

"You are so attentive all of a sudden, what are you going to do?"

"I want some coupons. You know, Kevin and I like to get some materials to do some research, rubbings and so on."

"Go to Alfred and ask for it."

"Oh, that damn radio wizard is very stingy. I asked him for it a few days ago and he actually told me that my family's expenses were very tight."

"I brought back a lot of coupons this time. You should be able to get them if you ask him again."

"Yeah, it's great. Our little Karen has grown up and can earn some coupons from outside and take them home. Grandma, I'm very happy."

Karen stopped talking to Pu'er and went into the bathroom to take a shower and change clothes, then went back to bed and lay down.

Pu'er came over again and asked, "Is this funeral club no longer accepting orders?"

"Well, as I ordered, I won't take orders from ordinary people for the time being."

"Then your ambition is really big."

"It's not ambition, I just don't want to cause trouble. Okay, go to bed. I have to practice tomorrow."

"Good night, meow."

Karen didn't wake up until noon. After washing, he entered the study through the bedroom door and saw Pu'er dictating and Little John taking notes with a pen.

Seeing Karen coming in, Little John immediately said:

"It's the weekend."

"Um."

Karen responded and walked out of the study.

"Master, I have prepared your lunch."

"OK."

What Hilly prepared for Karen was pasta, which was a bit like fried noodles, with a variety of side dishes. She was really trying to cater to Karen's taste.

Karen asked while eating: "Xili, are you living at home now?"

"Well, yes, you can go home once a week. You can also go home if you have something to do. This is what Mr. Alfred ordered me to do."

"That's fine. It's not safe to go back at night."

"Because I have another family of relatives who came to York City, so the small room where I originally slept has been occupied. It was only because I begged Mr. Alfred that I got the conditions for living there. Thank you, Mr. Alfred, too.

Thank you, Master, for taking me in."

"You make so much money, don't you even have a bed at home?"

"No, Master, those are relatives. Although I haven't seen them much before, relatives definitely need to help each other. That's what I think, right, Master?"

"Yeah." Karen responded.

But he noticed that Hilly avoided his question "How much money do you make?", so Karen did not continue to ask.

This girl is very hard-working. When we first met her, her skin color was a bit dark, but after working as a maid for a while, her skin color was obviously much whiter than before. Based on the two white spots she saw in the bathroom yesterday...

This means that her original dark complexion should be caused by working outside in the sun in the past few years, and she should be relatively white.

"By the way, Hilly, help me prepare some food in the afternoon. I will take it to share with my friends in the evening."

"No problem, Master."

After finishing lunch, Karen got up and walked to the yard.

There was a bench beside the flower bed in the yard, and there was a swing next to it. Dora and Doreen were playing on the swing at the moment.

Karen walked to the bench and sat down.

Dora and Doreen immediately walked up to Karen politely and said hello to Karen.

Karen smiled and said: "You continue to play."

"You go back to the room to review your homework, and don't disturb Mr. Cullen." Mrs. Lake came out and said.

The two sisters bowed to Karen and ran back to their rooms.

"It's nice to let the children play." Karen smiled, "I quite enjoy watching them play."

It can be regarded as watching their happy life on behalf of Mr. Pavaro.

Mrs. Lake also sat on the bench and said: "I want them to go to school, but they are already quite old now, so it is more troublesome to find a school."

"This is easy to handle. Just find a tutor and let Alfred make the arrangements. You can rest assured."

"Thank you, Mr. Cullen."

"Madam, we don't need to be so exposed."

Mrs. Lake seemed to suddenly think of something, her face turned slightly red, and she nodded silently.

At this time, Pique came in with a newspaper in his hand and said: "Boss, today's newspaper."

Karen reached out and took the newspaper.

There were two ordinary newspapers that Karen used to read in bed at night, and one was the "Order Weekly" that Karen subscribed to.

"You are busy first. If you need anything, please tell me." Mrs. Lake said goodbye.

"Okay, ma'am." Karen nodded to her.

Immediately, under the lazy afternoon sunshine, Karen leaned on the bench and started reading the newspaper.

In the evening, I have to go to the place where I was yesterday to continue training with Gray, so I can take a little leisurely time in the afternoon.

Karen first read the "Order Weekly", skipping the dry articles about faith and magic, and instead picked out some news about the church circles.
To be continued...
