Chapter 19 Witnesses

"Boss, you are back." Everyone asked.

Then, Willis shouted: "Look at the news, a big explosion occurred in the subway in City X a few hours ago, and many people died."

"I heard that the danger has not been lifted yet, the fire has just been extinguished, and the whole city has been martial law." Murphy said.

Ian waved his hand and said, "I'm very tired. I'm going to bed now, so no one can bother me."

He was so tired that he immediately got up to sleep when he returned to the room and slept until the next morning.

When he woke up, he felt very hungry, so he came outside. William had just gotten up and sent one of his men to buy breakfast.

William was about to tell Ian about the casino, but saw Ian suddenly staying there like a wooden man, motionless, but his mouth and eyes were open, with an incredible expression on his face.

It lasted for nearly a minute before it returned to normal. I immediately turned on the TV like crazy, changed a few channels, and then returned to the office in the casino and turned on a computer.

William hurriedly followed and saw Ian constantly inquiring about the news about the explosion of the x-city subway.

"Mr. Ian, you... look nervous?" William asked worriedly.

Ian was stunned for a moment, and smiled in a panic and said, "No, I just woke up and was a little confused. I didn't expect such a miserable thing to happen."

"You just came back from City X, and this kind of thing happened there. Could it be you..." William said half-jokingly.

"Okay, don't mention the explosion anymore. You didn't tell anyone else where I went, did you?" Ian interrupted William and asked.

"No, no." William was even more surprised when he saw Ian's expression suddenly become nervous and said to himself: Could it be that he did this?

"Okay, go out for dinner." The two returned to the bar outside, but Willis and the others actually came.

"Wow, there's breakfast." Murphy laughed.

"Get out of here, this is breakfast for the boss and me." William scolded with a smile.

"Tsk, I'll buy it myself." Murphy said disdainfully, then took out the money and asked the subordinate who had just returned to run another trip.

During the meal, everyone's topic was still about the explosion in City X. Murphy said: "I read the news again and said more than 200 people died. Look, this is a picture of the explosion scene."

As he said that, Murphy took out his cell phone to show to others. When he got it in front of Ian, Ian pushed it away and said, "What's so good about this kind of thing? Let's think about how to make money."

"Haha, boss, that's your business, we just do things." Chad also joked.

Just as they were talking about it, a new news suddenly began to air on TV: an organization called the Holy Fire claimed responsibility for the incident, and released a photo saying that this excellent soldier had made a strong counterattack against the United States.

More than ten minutes later, the news was confirmed that the person in the photo did board the subway with his backpack before the subway exploded, and the police also found a large amount of explosives in his home.

"Is this kind of thing actually there?" Ian thought in surprise.

William also looked at Ian at this time. When he saw Ian showing a surprised expression again, he was really unable to guess.

"It seems that the KB elements are becoming more and more arrogant now. We will pay attention to going out in the future and go to places with less crowds." Willis sighed.

At the same time, near a police station in City X, the violin mother and daughter who were once acquainted with Ian was wandering there.

"Mom, is that uncle really a bad person?" the little girl asked.

"I don't know much, but he should know something, otherwise he wouldn't be so sure that we won't take the subway."

"But I think he is a good person. I haven't come out to play for a long time. If it weren't for that uncle, I'd probably have to wait a long time before I can come out to play for a while." The little girl said worriedly.

The mother became even more entangled. When the explosion occurred, the first thing she thought of was that she was so lucky, but she soon realized whether the young man who stopped him from taking the subway would have a problem. Did he know that the subway would explode? So many people died in one go, and the whole city was filled with a sense of sadness. If she didn't tell the police, there might be another next time, but from the other side, that person saved his and his daughter's lives.

If you tell the police, it might cause him trouble, which makes him feel even more guilty, so he hesitated here.

"My God, I'm a KB molecule." Just as she was hesitating, the two young people passing by saw the news on their phones and exclaimed loudly.

"What's going on?" The woman also took out her cell phone and looked through it. She immediately said to her daughter in surprise: "Sophie, the news said that this was done by a KB organization called Holy Fire, and they also released photos of the criminals."

"That's great, mom, then we can go home. I knew that uncle is not a bad guy, how could the bad guy give us money!" Sophie clapped her hands and smiled.

"Maybe." The woman glanced at the police station. Although she was confused, since the KB organization was in charge, it had nothing to do with the young man.

But not long after they returned home, two police detectives came to their homes, a man and a woman.

"Madam, do you know this person?" the female detective asked with a photo.

The woman took a look and recognized her. This was the young man who gave them money. She hesitated.

The detective said: "Ms., although the flame acknowledged the incident, we suspect that they have accomplices. If we don't find out as soon as possible, misfortune will happen again soon."

"You have also seen it. Now everyone is so scared that they hide at home and dare not go out. We just want to find out the truth, protect everyone, and let those who suffer misfortune rest in heaven." The male detective said in a deep voice.

The woman sighed and said, "I have seen him, but I don't know him."

The two detectives' eyes suddenly showed hope and asked: "Where did you meet him? What did he tell you? What other characteristics do he have? Please tell me carefully about these."

After saying that, the male detective took out a recorder from his arms and started recording.

After about half an hour, the woman said, "That's all, I don't know anything else."

"Well, okay, you mean, this person took the same subway with you the day before the explosion, and then told you not to take the subway the next day. After you rejected him, he gave you some money to take your daughter to rest, and then an explosion happened the next day. It was probably that way, right?" the female police detective said quickly.

"Yes."

"That money? Can you let us take it away?" said the male detective.

The woman asked vigilantly, "Do you have to take it?" Because she had already spent some of it, and because of the money, she hadn't gone to work for two days. If she was taken away, it would be a pity.

"No, no..." the female police detective said quickly: "I mean, there may be his fingerprints on those money, and we can exchange them for other money with you."

"Yeah, yes, but I've spent some of it." The woman smiled awkwardly.

"It doesn't matter, ma'am, we also want to thank you for your cooperation." The policewoman stood up and said with a smile.

Then the female detective took out some money from her pocket, but seeing that the woman seemed to have more money than hers, she had to ask the male detective to take out some more. After changing, the two left.
