Chapter 39 Questioning(1/2)

After exiting the back door of the bar, there is a construction area located in the triangular rift valley, with dirty alleys intertwined in a chaotic manner.

The space here is not enough for people to gather and stay, so there are no carnival figures.

This allowed Kewen to avoid being disturbed by the crowd.

He jumped onto a roof and jumped along the undulating roofs.

After approaching the wall of the Rift Valley, he continued upward along various pipelines and buildings.

Ke Wen did not let up his speed to climb, so it took him nearly five minutes to reach the border market at the top of the rift valley.

After finding a deserted alley, Kewen patted his body with his hands and put on a pair of clean and tidy clothes. Then he walked towards the bridge.

However, as soon as he walked out of an alley and saw the bridge, he had to stop again.

The bridge is closed! A large number of law enforcement officers are busy on the bridge.

Through the law enforcement officers who were on guard facing the border market, Coven saw many corpses on the bridge.

This made him slightly stunned.

Because he recognized that the law enforcement officers who turned into corpses were the same ones who went to the dark alley before!

With a slight frown, Ke Wen casually released a spell on himself that reduced the sense of presence, and then walked towards the bridge.

When he came to the bridge, he saw clearly the wounds on the corpses.

Looking at the wounds that looked like they were caused by wild beasts, he immediately thought of cause and effect.

"Glimmer, Hilko..."

Amidst the murmur, Kewen turned his head and glanced towards the seaside of the border market.

After retracting his gaze, he glanced at the more than sixty corpses and shook his head.

Hilko's thoughts are easy to guess.

It was nothing more than killing someone to make the matter more serious and blaming the gangster.

Later, when faced with the retaliation from the upper city, it would be best if Fandel dared to resist.

And if Fandel continues to care about each other, then Hilko will just use Shangcheng's revenge to let Fandel die.

The various calculations involved are not worthy of Kewen's attention.

He passed over the corpses lying on the ground and the law enforcement officers who were busy dealing with the aftermath, crossed the bridge and entered the territory of Piltover.

With the magic removed from his body, the decent-looking Kewen easily blended into the crowd of Piltover.

He walked along the clean and tidy streets paved with gorgeous marbles.

It took him more than twenty minutes to arrive near the college area.

After some inquiring, Coven asked where Jess Tallis's studio was. After all, an explosion had just occurred there and the memory had not yet faded from the minds of the people around him.

It took a few more minutes to reach the bottom of the building.

Coven looked up at the balcony and walls being repaired, and then walked towards a construction worker who was resting downstairs.

"excuse me."

Ke Wen handed over a silver gear: "Can I ask something?"

The worker who was wiping the dust stains on his face with a towel was stunned.

Then he quickly put away the silver coins, stood up and asked enthusiastically: "Of course sir! What do you want to know?"

"I came here because of its reputation."

Coven smiled and said: "I just traveled to Pilvoort. I heard that this is a city of progress, a city of art, and a city of freedom."

"Ha ha!"

The local construction worker laughed proudly: "You are right! Sir, this is the Pilvotov you heard about!"

"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes."

Ke Wen smiled and nodded, pointed to the bombed room above and continued: "So, accidents like the room above are very rare, right? Since it happens so rarely, of course I have to come and see it."

Hearing this, the construction workers' expressions immediately showed anger.

He slapped the side of his leg and complained angrily: "Hey! There are always unsatisfactory results! He is the owner of this house! What kind of illegal experiment is he doing in such a great city?!"

As if they were embarrassed because they were innocently implicated, the construction workers couldn't help but raise their voices.

He said angrily: "But that bastard is lucky! Because his family invented the 'Multifunctional Hammer', and because his family has contributed to the development of science and technology, the parliament did not take that

The boy was banished from the city."

"and after?"

Ke Wen took advantage of the situation and asked: "You are the craftsman who restored the appearance of the house, right? Have you met the owner of the house? What happened to him later?"

"Yes, sir."

The craftsman raised his head and looked at the balcony: "I was invited to repair the house."

Having said this, the construction worker put away his anger again and his expression turned to pity.

After sighing slightly, he continued: "I have seen that young man, unruly, refusing to admit his mistakes, and stubborn in his own opinions, but when I look back, aren't other young people similar to him?"

"how?"

Kewen asked: "Listening to your tone, what else happened after that?"

"Hey, just yesterday, no, the night before yesterday."

The construction worker pointed to the blasted wall on the fifth floor: "The young man couldn't bear the pressure. He couldn't think about it, so he jumped from there!"

"Jesus!"

Ke Wen pretended to be surprised and asked hurriedly: "Poor young man! Is he okay?!"

"You are so kind."

The construction worker praised Ke Wen, then shook his head and said, "God has mercy on me. The young man only broke his legs and ribs. Fortunately, there were people living around here. When he heard the scream, he was killed as soon as possible."

Sent to hospital."

"That's it." Ke Wen nodded suddenly and said with emotion: "God bless you!"

"Yes, God bless!"

The construction worker agreed, and then asked enthusiastically: "Is there anything else you want to know? As long as I know it, I will definitely tell your husband."

"Thank you, Mrs. Pearlwater, you are so enthusiastic."

Coven complimented and then asked: "I heard that the achievements of this city are inseparable from the invention and leadership of Congressman Heimerdinger? Can I pay him a visit? I mean, what should I pass?

What is the process to get the qualification to visit him?”

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! "Master Dean?"

The construction worker was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said: "Oh, he prefers to be called the dean instead of a councillor. As for visiting..."

Shaking his head, the construction worker spread his hands and said: "There is no other way. The dean rarely leaves the college, unless he is attending the parliament or being invited by the nobles to participate in some activities. If you want to see him, you can only go to the entrance of the college.

Wait a minute, if you are lucky, you may be able to meet the dean who happens to be going out."

"That's it, I understand."

Kewen smiled and nodded: "Thank you, then I'll try my luck."

"Haha." The construction worker laughed enthusiastically: "Sir, may luck favor you."

"Thanks again."

Ke Wen responded: "That's it, I'm disturbing your time. I'll take my leave."

"You're welcome!"

The construction worker saluted slightly: "Sir, Pilvotov welcomes you."

Science looked at the other person and leaned forward slightly, then turned and left with a smile.

After walking a few dozen meters, he could still hear the praise from the construction worker.

Next, Kewen went directly to the college.

As for Jace Tallis?

Ke Wen is no longer interested in it.

The reason why I came here to ask is just for the sake of that notebook, I came here to pay attention to it.

After all, Baobao and the other party had a cause and effect.

Coven didn't pay much attention to Jace Tallis, otherwise he wouldn't have delayed coming here until today.

This is because he understands the laws of destiny. Jace Tallis has the luck of this world, and it is not easy to die at all.

The result was as he expected. Even though Victor's appearance did not interrupt his jump from the building, Jess Tallis was still favored by fate and survived.
