Chapter 78 The Story of the Four Brothers
In Hogwarts Castle, several professors gathered together to discuss countermeasures.
The students of Gryffindor were temporarily living in the auditorium. The four neatly arranged long tables were already placed against the wall, and the purple tent on them was replaced by the ground.
"Sleep well, it's absolutely safe to be here tonight." Dumbledore assured many students, and then he opened the door and stepped out.
The students were all talking about the events that had just happened, and they were surprised that Black could break through the dementor's defense.
The scene was really chaotic, and finally, under the pressure of Percy's student union president, everyone found a sleeping bag to calm down.
"Where is Louis? I haven't seen anyone."
Harry and the other two pulled a sleeping bag to find a place to sleep. Ginny looked around but did not find him.
"I'm here!" Louis greeted Harry and the others with a purple sleeping bag, then squeezed through the crowd and came to the four of them.
"Where you just went, we can't find you."
Louis did not answer, and he pointed at the ginger cat in his arms with some breath.
"Crook Hill?" Hermione took his pet from Louis' arms. Crook Hill snored at Louis a few times, then got into Hermione's arms.
If this cat is male, then Louis will definitely scold it for being more important than being friends.
"Okay, now, turn off the lights!" Percy's commanding tone forced everyone to calm down again. Several people hurriedly put the tent on the ground and went into it to sleep.
It is said to be a tent, but it is actually just a sleeping bag, and it is only enough for one person to fall asleep.
All the candles in the banquet hall were extinguished, and the only visible light was the silver-white ghost patrolling and the magic ceiling. The ceiling also made creaking sounds from time to time, making people mistakenly think that they were sleeping outdoors and blowing in the air.
Every few hours, teachers come in to check posts and patrol, just like those dormitory nurses in the dormitory.
But tonight was destined to be a sleepless night. At three in the morning, Dumbledore entered through the main gate, and followed him with Severus Snape.
"Principal, I have searched all the places and dungeons on the third floor, and no trace of Black was found."
"Where is the astronomical tower and Sevor's room."
"Lupin has already found those places, but there is no one."
"Very good." Dumbledore nodded, "Then I think Black has left the castle."
"How do you think he came in, Principal," Snape asked.
"There are many possibilities, Severus." Dumbledore turned his head and looked at Snape's hooked nose face. "What do you think?"
"I think there are traitors in our school." Snape said expressionlessly. "Do you remember the conversation we had when school started? If Black had no one inside the school..."
"I don't think anyone in the school will help Black." Dumbledore's tone was a little stiff. "I know you're biased against him, Severus, but he's on the same front with us now."
Dumbledore and Snape happened to walk next to Louis, and their conversation made Louis, who was not asleep, hear clearly.
He naturally knew who the traitor they mentioned was, Remus Lupin, this Sirius' good brother.
"I'm not referring to him, Principal." Snape shook his head, "Don't you think that Louis Wiggins is very similar to Black."
"Absurd, would you think a sophomore student would go to help Black?" Dumbledore obviously didn't want to continue the topic. "I'll go find the dementors and tell them the results of our search."
"Of course, they don't want to come to the castle for Black to affect our students."
Dumbledore and Snape left the hall, and a brilliant wave appeared in Louis's heart. He didn't understand what Snape said meant, perhaps just to lower his impression in Dumbledore's mind?
This night was destined to be uneasy. Since Lupin discovered Louis at the place where he hit Liu, he has been thinking about how Louis would find that place. Perhaps he knew that Black would definitely appear there?
Lupin hasn't seen a student as outstanding as Louis for a long time. Not only does it include the guardian spell that almost successfully cast on the train, but more importantly, his decisive, brave and fearless spirit. Almost no one except James and Sirius back then could do so.
Even in Harry, he poured more into his own blame for James, while he was simply optimistic about Louis.
After receiving the news about Sirius this time, he immediately wanted to confront Sirius and asked him why he chose to betray James and their brotherly friendship back then.
Thinking about those twenty years ago, they were almost inseparable four brothers, James, Sirius, Petr, and Lupin, who were almost all moved by the friendship between these four.
For Lupin's werewolf bloodline, they even learned extremely profound and extremely difficult magic. Animagus and the four brothers bravely entered the Forbidden Forest and explored the deepest magic secrets in the depths of the Forbidden Forest.
But the collapse of everything came from thirteen years ago. The four people who joined the Order of the Phoenix against Voldemort naturally became the target of the Death Eaters. Moreover, Voldemort knew the prophecy of the destined enemy and chased the James family all over the world.
But he made all kinds of mistakes. He believed in his most trusted brother, but was beaten by his brother.
When Lupin received the news, James died tragically under Voldemort's death curse, and the little dwarf Peter and the Muggles on the street were blown away by a spell of Sirius.
For more than ten years, Lupin has been complaining about himself. If he had discovered that Sirius had the idea of betrayal, James would never have encountered such an encounter.
Now, when he found Louis, he seemed to see Sirius's Animagus figure, the big black dog, he was almost about to rush up to confront him, but due to Louis's eyes, he gradually retreated.
He didn't know if Louis knew something, so he was not in a hurry to recognize each other.
But he believed that since when he was a child, when Lupin was the darkest and lonely time, Sirius gave himself a bright light to illuminate the direction, he would be able to pull him towards the light at the darkest time. Because after all, he was his former brother.
Lupin looked at the moonlight and then returned to his post to serve. Now his most important task is to protect Harry, James Potter's only flesh and blood.
