Chapter 1523 The Missing Dream Wedding(1/2)
Edward Bloom dipped his head in the fountain and changed into new clothes.
He was finally going to meet the girl of his dreams who he fell in love with at first sight.
Her name is Sandra!
Edward stood in front of a half-open door holding a large bouquet of daffodils.
He knows that she likes daffodils! This is what the head of the werewolf circus told him!
Through the crack in the door, you can see a girl talking quietly to another girl. The person she is talking to is not visible outside.
After the conversation, the door opened, and the girl Edward had longed for, Sandra Kaye Templeton, was standing in front of the door. She was so beautiful, as simple and pure as sunshine.
Edward couldn't believe that he had found this girl. His smile was stiff and nervous, which made the girl feel funny and didn't expect what would happen.
Edward looked at her and plucked up the courage to say: "You don't know me, my name is Edward Bloom, and I have fallen in love with you. In the past three years, I have worked non-stop just to find out who you are."
.I've been shot with bullets, stabbed with knives, stepped on, and had my ribs broken twice, but now that I can see you here and talk to you, it's all worth it. From meeting you at the circus.
From the first moment I saw you, I knew I was destined to marry you. Now, I am more sure of this than ever."
Sandra was at a loss, and in the end she just came up with one sentence...
"I'm very sorry."
Edward said quickly: "You don't need to apologize. I mean, I am the luckiest person."
She put her left hand on the doorframe, and the camera slowly took a close-up of her left hand, allowing people to see a diamond ring on her left ring finger.
Sandra: "No, I'm sorry, actually I...I'm engaged."
Edward's heart kept falling. He tried hard to control his emotions and face the harsh facts bravely.
Sandra looked at him and said, "You are wrong. I know you, or at least have heard of you, as Edward Bloom from Ashton. My fiancé is also from Ashton, his name is Don.
Price, how many years older than you."
This result, it can be said, was unexpected by many people!
Why? Because they are familiar with this name!
Isn’t that the background board?
Remember the one in the group of people who went to that gloomy old house in the story Edward told?
The camera turned, and Don Price Jr. was shining a flashlight on Edward.
It was during that time that I went on an adventure to the old house to meet the witch.
The climax of several sports games in high school. Whether it was football, baseball or basketball, Edward defeated Don Price every time.
Also at the science fair, when Edward got the trophy, Don Price left the show angrily.
The camera pans back again to see Edward and Carl leaving, with Don Price stamping out the cigarette butts in the background.
He won every time, but why did he lose completely all of a sudden?
Edward was stunned, and he gathered all his strength...
Blessings with some pretense of calmness: "Congratulations, sorry to bother you."
He turned and walked down the steps.
Sandra was still standing at the door, feeling extremely uncomfortable. After a while, she entered the room, and the giggles of the girls could be heard in the room.
Sandra was a little angry: "Stop making trouble, this is not funny. That boy is quite pitiful."
When Edward left, tears almost fell.
Edward's voiceover sounded: "Sometimes fate is cruel. After leaving Ashton, I went through so many hardships, and the girl I love is now engaged to the stupidest person in Ashton."
He left the screen, leaving only the girls' dormitory building in the background.
Edward's voice-over: "Sometimes, a man needs to fight; sometimes, he needs to accept the fate of failure. The ship has sailed, and only fools will continue to wait."
Edward walked into the frame again and looked at the dormitory building.
"The truth is, I've always been a fool."
The screen rotated and Edward shouted: "Sandra Templeton! I love you! I want to marry you!"
In the girls' dormitory, Sandra and her sisters opened the curtains and looked outside. Is that guy crazy?
The economics professor was giving a lecture, but Sandra didn't listen carefully.
The professor turned on the slide projector without looking at the slides. The students laughed secretly, and the professor didn't pay attention.
A classmate nudged Sandra and she looked up. The slide said "I love Sandra Templeton". Sandra was surprised and happy. The professor finally saw what was on the slide.
Sandra walked on campus holding her textbooks, shaking her head in disbelief, and looked up at the blue sky. The clouds in the sky formed a heart-shaped pattern.
In the dormitory building, at the urging of her sisters, Sandra, who had just woken up, looked out from the second-story window and found that the lawn was filled with daffodils, a total of ten thousand. Edward stood in the sea of flowers.
I have been waiting there for six hours.
Sandra walked to the front of the building, with a smile on her face. She was embarrassed, happy, and a little scared. All the classmates came here to watch this scene.
Sandra: "Daffodils?"
Edward: "It's your favorite flower."
Sandra wondered: "How did you get so many flowers?"
"I called florists in five states and explained to them that this was the only way I could get a wife," Edwards said.
A tear slipped from Sandra's cheek and she wiped it away.
Sandra's eyes turned red: "You don't even know me."
Edward said seriously: "I would like to spend my whole life getting to know you."
But at this moment, a man's voice came: "Sandra!"
Sandra said to Edward: "He is Don Price. Promise me not to hurt him."
Edward solemnly said: "I will obey your orders."
As an adult, Don Price weighed 230 pounds and was muscular. His brothers followed him.
Don Price also saw Edward and recognized him: "Bloom!"

Don Price was furious: "What the hell are you doing? She's my woman, she's mine."
Edward shook his head: "She doesn't belong to anyone."
Don Price knocked him down. Edward was angry but did not fight back. Don Price hit him hard with his fist again.
Sandra yelled, "Stop!"
Don Price refused to listen: "What's the matter, Bloom? Are you too afraid to fight back?"
Edward kept his promise: "I promised not to hit you."
Don Price shrugged and continued beating Edward.
Edward's voiceover sounded: "I have never been so beaten in my life, but in the end, Don Price was defeated."
The camera cuts to Don Price sitting on the toilet and defecating while reading Playboy magazine.
Edward's voiceover sounded: "His congenital heart valve disease was aggravated by excessive exertion. In short, his heart was not strong enough."
Don Price squeezed hard. Suddenly, he grabbed his chest and fell face first to the ground.
"puff!"
There was a burst of laughter in the internal screening room.
They all remembered the scene inside the witch's eyeballs, and sure enough, the scene quickly flashed back to that time.
The glass eyes reflected the same scene as when Don Price died.
This way of death is indeed too weird, but it makes people want to laugh inexplicably.
Back in front of the female dormitory building of the university.
Don Price was still beating Edward. Edward tried to stand up, but was knocked down again.
Sandra yelled, "Don!"
Don Price turned his head. Sandra took off her engagement ring, and her sisters said "aha" and Don's brothers said "ohhh."
Sandra said loudly: "I will not marry you."
Don Price stood stunned, his mind in confusion.
Edward's eyes were swollen like buns, waiting for another punch. Where was he? What happened?
Don Price was in disbelief: "What, you love this kid?"
Sandra: "He's almost a stranger to me. But I'd rather choose him than you."
She returned the ring to Don. Don punched Edward again before leaving angrily.
To be continued...
