Chapter 8 Something Happened

Fresh air rushed into her chest, and the warm autumn afternoon sunshine shone on her body. Yang Ruoqing squinted her eyes in comfort, raised her hands and stretched.

"ghost"

"Bang"

Suddenly a woman's scream came from the door of the upper room, followed immediately by the sound of a barrel hitting the ground.

Yang Ruoqing followed the sound and saw a middle-aged woman of medium height wearing burlap clothes standing at the door of the kitchen. The woman's clothes were also covered with patches, but the stitches of the patches were crooked.

, like ferocious centipedes, ugly.

The woman's hair was messy, with a few strands hanging behind her ears, and several wet and sticky strands hanging on her face, covering half of her face. The exposed face was stained with a piece of black pot ash.

.

Her eyes were staring directly at the west wing, and her mouth was open wide enough to stuff an egg. Her somewhat cloudy eyes were filled with fear at the moment, and her whole body was shaking uncontrollably, and she looked like she was about to cry out of fear.

.

She was wearing a dirty apron around her waist, and her hands were still carrying things. A wooden bucket overturned at her feet, and the swill inside spilled all over the floor. A breathtaking smell suddenly filled the air.

Disgusting smell

Yang Ruoqing recognized at a glance that the sloppy woman in front of her, who didn't know how to move her feet while standing in the swill, was her aunt Jin.

"Sister-in-law, don't be afraid. Qing'er is not a ghost. She is still alive and well. Look, she has a shadow."

Mrs. Sun immediately realized and knew that Qing'er must have misinformed her, so she hurriedly explained to Mrs. Jin loudly.

Sun's explanation did not make Jin recover from his daze, but it alarmed Tan, who was taking a lunch break in the east wing opposite.

Mrs. Tan glanced into the yard from the raised window and saw Mrs. Sun supporting Yang Ruoqing standing under the wall of the west wing opposite. Mrs. Tan said angrily, "Even if you don't die, you are still suffering, so what's the point of enjoying it?"

Mrs. Sun lowered her head, not daring to speak out anymore, and whispered to Yang Ruoqing, "Qing'er, you're tired of standing. Mom will help you sit down first."

Yang Ruoqing glanced at the small stool under the wall and wondered in her heart, could this weak little stool bear the weight of her?

As soon as this thought came to her mind, Mrs. Sun had already pressed her shoulders and sat down on the small stool. When Mrs. Sun let go and stood up, and was about to leave, the stool under Yang Ruoqing's big ass suddenly made an unpleasant sound.

The sound of a heavy load was followed by the collapse of several earthen bricks.

The small stool tilted to one side. Seeing that the girl sitting on the small stool was about to fall off her butt, Mrs. Sun was startled, screamed, and stretched out her hand to pull her.

However, I saw that the girl who was about to fall down suddenly used her palms to support the ground, and then stood up. The small stool tilted down and rolled on the ground several times before it stopped.

"Qing'er, are you okay? Show me your skills quickly."

Yang Ruoqing originally wanted to say that she was fine, to reassure Mrs. Sun, but when she thought there were two other pairs of eyes here, she pursed her lips, like a frightened child, and made excuses to hug Mrs. Sun, similar to how

Acting coquettishly, but avoided Tan's sight.

Her hand hidden behind Sun's back gently stroked Sun's back, and she blinked secretly.

Mrs. Sun was startled for a moment, and then she remembered what her daughter had told her before. She suddenly realized what she had said and breathed a sigh of relief.

Under the east window, Tan Shi, who had been paying attention to what was going on here, had a fierce look on her face and coldly snorted, "She's so fat, how can she make you nervous even if she falls? She's been howling endlessly this afternoon."

, and even asked people to take a nap.”

Mrs. Sun hung her head guiltily and said nothing. She found an earthen brick to cushion her and helped Yang Ruoqing sit down under the eaves. She then picked up the two empty bowls placed aside and lowered her head toward the kitchen.

Walk quickly over there.

My sister-in-law is a bit rough at work, that is, doing odd jobs in the kitchen, doing laundry and dishes, etc. Qing'er Nai has already told me that my sister-in-law is not allowed to touch her. Sun is in a hurry to go back to the kitchen now because she is thinking about the food in the pot.

Tableware.

In the east wing opposite, Ms. Tan glared in disgust at Yang Ruoqing, who was sitting on the ground and smiling stupidly at her. Just as she was about to withdraw her head, her nose suddenly sucked hard a few times.

A pair of sparse eyebrows suddenly wrinkled, why is this so bad?

Feeling something bad in her heart, Mrs. Tan put on a coat and stomped out of the east wing with her little feet. When she came to the yard, she saw Mr. Jin at the door of the kitchen and the splash of water at her feet.

The swill of the earth.

Tan's face suddenly turned dark. He gritted his teeth, picked up a broom next to him, and walked quickly towards Jin.

When Mrs. Jin saw Mrs. Tan's aggressive look, holding the familiar broom in her hand, her dark face stained with ashes from the bottom of the pot suddenly turned white.

Yang Ruoqing thought that Jin would run away, but she didn't expect that Jin just trembled all over, but her feet seemed to be nailed. She watched Tan come over, and saw Tan's broom covering her head and face to greet her, holding her hands

In his head, all he could hear was screams of "ouch, ouch, ouch" coming out of his mouth.

As for Ms. Tan, while being beaten, she also scolded, "You are a clumsy, stupid woman. You can't even empty a swill bucket. The whole yard smells so bad. You stupid woman, if you hadn't given birth to and raised four children for our old Yang family,

For the sake of my son, I would have asked the boss to divorce you long ago, you idiot who has no place on the stage."

Tan hit him a few times, fearing that his hand was a little sore, so he cursed and stopped his hand, threw away the broom, turned around and walked back angrily.

Behind her, Jin's eyes were filled with tears. Her exposed arms were red in many places, and the skin was broken and bleeding in some places. Even so, Jin still didn't dare to cry loudly.

Not even bothering to deal with the wound on his arm, he crouched down with his shoulders hunched and hurriedly picked up the swill bucket on the ground.

Yang Ruoqing was dumbfounded. This little old lady was really not ordinary tough.

By the way, the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in ancient times is really scary. No wonder they say that a daughter-in-law becomes a mother-in-law, but why do women always make things difficult for women?

Yang Ruoqing couldn't figure this out, and was about to look away when she suddenly felt a strange gaze directed at her.

Catching Tan's suspicious eyes from the corner of her eye, Yang Ruoqing put the hand that was just digging at the dirt at her feet directly into her mouth, raised her head, grinned, and smiled a few times to please Tan.

, a trace of mucus slid down the corner of her mouth, shining with crystal light in the afternoon light.

Mrs. Tan frowned tightly, glared at Yang Ruoqing fiercely, turned around and entered the east wing. With a bang, the door was closed behind her.
