Chapter 26 Night Thoughts(1/2)

"Madam is back."

The sounds of girls saluting in unison came from outside the door.

The Prince of Jin'an County hurriedly sat upright. When he heard the footsteps outside the door, he hurriedly sat back and leaned on the table, looking at the tea bowl in his hand intently.

"..Is it useful for late night snacks now?"

Su Xin's voice asked.

"Has your Highness used it?" Cheng Jiaoniang's voice sounded in the room.

Prince Jin'an raised his head.

When I saw the woman standing in the room, she had put on a homely underskirt and blouse. Although the blouse was still dark green, the underskirt was rose purple, so the color was brighter than what I had seen before.

After all, we are newlyweds.

She cares a lot about the newlyweds, so she should be more careful about her clothes.

Prince Jin'an then smiled.

"Not yet, I took a break." He said.

Cheng Jiaoniang nodded.

"Why didn't you change your clothes?" she asked again.

"I'm tired, let's take a rest first." Prince Jin'an said with some casualness as he stood up.

The maids hurriedly followed him into the clean room, rinsed briefly, and brought clean clothes.

"Have all my things been moved here?" Prince Jin'an asked.

"Just some clothes." The maid replied.

The Prince of Jin'an County stopped asking, and when he came out, Cheng Jiaoniang was already sitting in the bedroom reading a book wearing only snow-green underwear.

Seeing the King of Jin'an County approaching, Banqin hurriedly brought a bowl of soup.

"What did Dr. Li say?" Prince Jin'an took it and sat down, seemingly casually asking.

"I've thought about your prescription for a while," Cheng Jiaoniang said.

Prince Jin'an frowned slightly.

"Do you still need to take medicine?" he said.

Cheng Jiaoniang put down her book, looked at him and smiled.

"Afraid of taking medicine?" she asked.

The prince of Jin'an County laughed, took a few sips of the tea soup without using a spoon, and looked at Cheng Jiaoniang again.

"Where's yours?" he asked.

"I don't need to take medicine." Cheng Jiaoniang looked at him and said with a smile.

Is she teasing him?

I didn't know she could still make fun of people.

Sure enough, the more we get along with her, the more we can see her unknown side.

"This medicine is delicious." Prince Jin'an smiled and drank the tea soup.

The maid brought tea and knelt down while Prince Jin'an rinsed his mouth.

"It's getting late, and it's been a tiring day. Let's take a rest early." Cheng Jiaoniang said.

The prince of Jin'an County swallowed a sip of tea in his mouth.

The maids in the room hurriedly bowed and left, Su Xin hesitated.

"There's no need to watch the night," Cheng Jiaoniang said, "You all go down and have a rest."

Su Xin and Ban Qin looked at each other and retreated.

The lights outside were extinguished one by one.

"You don't like people staying on duty at home at home?" Prince Jin'an asked somewhat casually.

"Yes." Cheng Jiaoniang said.

"Me too." Prince Jin'an said with a smile.

As soon as the voices stopped, the atmosphere in the room became a little stagnant.

"Do you want more tonight?" Prince Jin'an asked.

"No need." Cheng Jiaoniang said, got up and walked to the bed, reaching out to lift the curtain.

The summer clothes are thin and light, and the snow-green color faintly reveals the snow-white skin under the lamp, shining with a delicate and soft luster.

Prince Jin'an quickly looked away.

"That's great." He exclaimed, standing up and moving his arms, pretending to be a little relaxed, "Finally I don't have any pain anymore, I can have a good sleep now."

Cheng Jiaoniang looked back at him.

"That's not necessarily true," she said.

The lights in the room were blown out, and King Jin'an tried his best to look at the tent with his eyes wide open. The people around him turned sideways, and when they went to bed and lay down, they had already avoided skin contact.

He felt a little annoyed, because he had just touched it and he subconsciously moved inwards, but Cheng Jiaoniang turned sideways to avoid it.

"I'm not used to it," he said suddenly.

The person next to me hummed.

As soon as the words came out of his mouth, Prince Jin'an regretted them.

Is she used to it? She is still a little girl.

"I mean, I didn't expect that we would get married." He paused and added, "It's like a dream."

"It wasn't a big deal originally." Cheng Jiaoniang said, "It's just like this."

Prince Jin'an smiled and put his hands behind his head to relax his stiff body.

"But, it should be a good thing." He said.

But their marriage happened when he was on the verge of death and Cheng Silang was killed in a brothel. He knew that the matter was being plotted, but in the end nothing happened...

Moreover, it was forced by the Queen Mother's decree, and it was still under the banner of happiness.

This was not the marriage he expected, nor the way he wanted to get married.

Prince Jin'an let out a breath.

"Actually, you don't have to agree." He said, "I didn't expect you to agree."

In the summer, under the gauze tent, once your vision adjusts, it is not pitch black, with a soft green light.

He looked at the tent, with the familiar fragrance lingering in his breath, and the sight of Cheng Jiaoniang in front of him became clear.

"No one and nothing can inconvenience me," she said calmly.

If she doesn't want to, even the Queen Mother won't be able to force her in the end.

In that situation, why did she agree?

Prince Jin'an felt his heart beating violently. He couldn't help but take a deep breath, took his hand out from under his neck, and placed it carefully on his body.

"Didn't you tell me this a long time ago?" Cheng Jiaoniang said.

Perhaps because she was lying on her side with her back to him, the voice coming from her was a little low and dull.

Yes, they had already agreed to get married. He asked her and she agreed.

But at that time, it was different from this time. At that time, I didn't expect that he would implicate her, and I didn't expect that Cheng Silang would die because of it...

"Now that it's been agreed, how can we go back on our word?"

The soft voice continued.

She will never go back on her promise and will do what she says no matter what.

This is how it should be, and he understands it very well, but...

Prince Jin'an put his hands behind his head again. He felt that the tent was a little stuffy. He couldn't help but turn over. No matter how big the bed was, it was just a bed. It was impossible for two people to be separated from each other. With this movement, he met Cheng

A pretty girl’s body.

In the summer, with only a thin sheet draped around her waist, her exquisite body, sleeping on her side, crashed into his arms.

Prince Jin'an was startled and leaned back, knocking down the bed board with a thud.

"What's wrong?" Cheng Jiaoniang asked, standing up.

"It's okay, it's okay." Prince Jin'an felt his face was burning and a little annoyed. He hurriedly lay down and said, "It's getting late, go to bed quickly."

Cheng Jiaoniang stopped asking and lay back without moving.

It was obvious that he was the one talking and making trouble...she would fall asleep.
To be continued...
