Chapter 2 His Royal Highness Sauron(2/3)

"Hello, Miss, I am Harry's brother, my name is Sauron-Soren Potter"

Hermione looked surprised, but apparently he was much calmer than Ron.

"Hello, my name is Hermione Granger."

Ron seemed to have seen Hermione come in, and he said to Hermione: "Do you need any help?"

"Oh, you'd better change into your robes as soon as possible. I just got to the front of the car and asked the driver, and he said we're going to arrive?" Hermione looked at Ron and said, "By the way, there's a dirty thing on your nose."

Ron glared at him as she went out. It was dark outside the window and the train seemed to slow down.

Harry and Ron took off their coats and put on black robes. Harry noticed that Sauron was not wearing a school uniform and did not carry his luggage with him.

"Don't you change your clothes - brother," Harry asked, while others seemed a little excited about saying the word 'brother', "Where is your luggage, we should be coming."

"It's better to call me Soren. It's always awkward to call me brother." Soren said.

Sauron took out his wand and waved it lightly. A large brown suitcase appeared at his feet. He pointed his clothes with the wand. Under the surprised gaze of Harry and Ron, the strange black robe on Sauron turned into the same robe as Harry was wearing.

"This is really cool," Ron said excitedly.

Harry didn't say anything, but his expression was as excited as Ron.

"The train will arrive in Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage in the train and we will take you to school for you." The sound echoed on the train.

Harry and Ron seemed very nervous, and Sauron had to comfort them over and over again. Harry seemed to be about to vomit.

The train was full of speed and finally stopped. Passengers rushed towards the door and went down to a dark and small platform. The cold air at night made Harry shudder, and Sauron added a thermal curse to them, making Harry feel much better. Then a light shook above the student door. Harry heard a familiar voice shouting: "First-year freshmen! First-year freshmen come here! Harry, come here, how are you?"

Above the crowded sea of people, Haig's bearded face showed a smile.

"Come on, come with me, are there any freshmen in the first grade? Be careful, you're under your feet! Come with me in the first grade!"

They followed Hagrid and stumbled, seemingly walking downhill along a steep and narrow path. The road was pitch black and there was no one around, only the boy who lost the toad occasionally sucked his nose or two.

"After turning this turn, you're about to see Hogwarts for the first time." Haeger turned around and shouted.

Then there was a loud "Oh--!"

A black lake suddenly unfolded at the end of the narrow path. On the high hillside across the lake, there was a towering castle, with spires on the castle, and windows flashing under the starry sky.

"Each boat cannot exceed four people!" Hagrid said loudly, pointing to a group of small boats moored on the shore. Harry and Ron got on the boat, and Sauron and Hermione followed him. Neville stood in a daze and was dragged to another boat by Hagrid.

"Have you all been on the boat?" Hagrid shouted, and he took a boat by himself. "That's good...... Go ahead!"

A group of boats immediately sailed forward through the mirror-like lake. Everyone was speechless and stared at the huge castle that was soaring into the sky. When they approached the cliff where the castle was located, the castle seemed to stand above their heads.

"Look down!" Hagrid shouted as the first small boats approached the cliff. Everyone lowered their heads, and the small boats carried them through the ivy curtain covering the front of the cliff to the secret open entrance. They seemed to come to the bottom of the castle along a pitch-black tunnel, and finally reached a place similar to an underground pier, and then climbed up a ground of gravel and pebbles.

"Hey, look! Is this your toad?" students got off the boat one after another, and Hagrid asked while checking the empty boat.

"Thank God!" Neville exclaimed with his arms and ecstatic. Then they climbed a tunnel in the rocks under the light of the Hagrid Lantern, and finally reached a flat and wet grass in the shadow of the castle.

Everyone climbed up a stone staircase and gathered in front of a huge oak door.

Hagrid raised a huge fist and knocked three times on the castle gate.

The door opened immediately. A tall black-haired witch in an emerald green robe stood in front of the gate. She looked serious and Sauron felt that this person was difficult to deal with.

"First year student, Professor McGonagall." Hager said.

"Thank you, Hagrid. I'll leave it to me to pick it up here."

She opened the door wide. The foyer was so big that it could move all three broken cauldrons and bars. Like European castles throughout the ages, the stone walls were surrounded by burning torches. The ceiling was so high that it was almost impossible to see. On the front was a luxurious marble staircase that led directly to the upper floors.

They followed Professor McGonagall along the stone floor. Soren heard hundreds of people buzzing from his side door. The students from other grades of the school must have arrived - but Professor McGonagall brought the freshman to a small empty room on the other end of the hall. Everyone rushed in, squeezed together, nervously and carefully staring at everything around them.

"Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The school banquet is about to begin, but before you get to the restaurant, you must first determine which college you each enter. The branch is an important ceremony because during your stay, the college is like your home in Hogwarts. You must attend classes with other classmates in the college, stay in the college dormitory, and spend your spare time in the college's common room."

"The names of the four colleges are: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each college has its own glorious history and has cultivated outstanding wizards. Your outstanding performance during your studies at Hogwarts will earn extra points for your college, and any violation will reduce your college. At the end of the year, the college with the highest score will receive the College Cup, which is a very high honor. I hope that no matter which college you are assigned to, you can win glory for the college."

"In a few minutes, the branch ceremony will be held in front of all the teachers and students in the school. I suggest that you sort out yourself well while waiting and be more energetic."

Her eyes moved up Neville's cloak (the cloak strap is tied under the left ear) and the dirty thing on Ron's nose. Sauron also noticed Harry's nervous and desperate effort to smooth his hair.

"I'll pick you up when you're ready there," said Professor McGonagall. "Please keep quiet while waiting."

She left the room. Sauron felt relieved when he saw everyone.

At this time, Harry asked Sauron, "How can they accurately assign us to which college?"

"I think I always pass a test. Fred said it hurts us a lot, but I think he is joking." Ron said nervously.

"Your brother is really joking. It's not that exaggerating, it's just a hat." Sauron said from the side.

At this time, about twenty ghosts suddenly emerged from the wall behind them. These pearly white, translucent ghosts slid across the room, whispering to each other, and rarely paid attention to these freshmen. They seemed to be arguing about something. A chubby little monk said, "I should forgive, I should forget it, I said, we should give him another chance-"

"My good monk, don't we give Pipi ghosts enough opportunities? But he gave us all the bad nicknames. You know, he can't even be a minimum ghost - I said, what are you doing here?"

A ghost wearing a wheel-shaped wrinkled collar tights suddenly discovered the freshman.

"I'm waiting for Professor McGonagall to pick us up." Sauron said.

"Freshman! Are you not afraid of us? I think, maybe I'm going to be tested." The chubby monk said to them with a smile.

Some students nodded silently.

"I hope you can get Hufflepuff!" said the monk, "I used to attend that academy."

"Now start moving forward," said a sharp voice. "The branch ceremony is about to begin."

Professor McGonagall is back. The ghosts float through the opposite wall and disappear.

"Now, line up," Professor McGonagall told the first-year student, "follow me."

Harry stood behind Ron, and Bont followed Harry. They walked out of the room, walked through the foyer, and passed a double door behind to enter the luxurious dining room.

Sauron looked at the magnificent place quietly. The students from other grades of the academy were already sitting around four long tables, with thousands of candles floating in the air illuminating the entire restaurant. The four tables were shining with golden plates and high-footed wine glasses. There was another long table on the table at the top of the restaurant, which was the seat of the teachers. Professor McGonagall brought the freshmen there and lined up against all the students.

The teachers were behind them. The candlelight shook, and hundreds of faces staring at them were like pale lanterns. The ghosts were also mixed with the students with silver lights. Sauron looked up and saw stars flashing on the velvet black ceiling. He vaguely heard Hermione whispering: "The spells were cast here, and they looked like the sky outside. I read them in "Hogwarts, a school history."

It is hard to believe that there is really a ceiling above, and it is hard to believe that the restaurant roof is not open-air.

Professor McGonagall gently placed a triple-legged stool in front of the first-year freshman, and then placed a pointed wizard hat on the stool. The hat was patched, and it was worn out and very dirty.

The restaurant was silent. Then the hat twisted. A wide slit was cracked on the edge of the hat, like a mouth. The hat began to sing. To be honest, Soren felt that he was singing very hard.

After the Magic Hat finished singing, the audience applauded thunderously. The Magic Hat bowed to the four dining tables one by one, and then stopped moving.

"So, we just have to wear this hat." Ron whispered to Harry, "I'm going to kill Fred, and he's saying it's like he's going to fight the giant."

Sauron smiled faintly at Harry.

At this time, Professor McGonagall walked a few steps forward, holding a roll of parchment in his hand.

"Whoever I call now wears a hat, sits on a stool, and waits for the branch." She said, "Hannah Aibo!"

A little girl with a rosy face and two golden braids stumbled out of the queue and put on a hat that just covered her eyes. She sat down and paused for a moment—

"Hufflepuff!" shouted.

The people on the right side applauded and cheered Hannah, and welcomed her to sit at their table. Sauron also waved to her happily when he saw the fat monk.

"Susan Pence!"

"Hufflepuff!" the hat shouted again. Susan ran to Hannah and sat down.

"Terry Butt!"

"Ravenclaw!"

This time the second table on the left clapped and clapped. When Terry joined them, several Ravenclaw's students stood up and shook hands with him.

Mandy Blohe was also assigned to Ravenclaw, and Ravend Brown became the first freshman in Gryffindor. The farthest dining table on the left immediately burst into cheers. Sauron frowned when he saw Ron's twin brothers booed.

Then Millison Besder became the freshman of Slytherin. It has to be denied that Slytherin people do look unpleasant.

"Justin Finlieri!"

"Hufflepuff!"

"Hermione Granger!"

Hermione almost ran to the stool and hurriedly put her hat on her head.

"Gryffindor!" shouted the hat. Ron snorted.

When he called the name of Neville Longbotton, the boy who always lost his toads, he fell on the way to the stool. It took him a long time to make a decision on Neville. When the hat finally shouted "Gryffindor", Neville ran away with his hat and finally had to trot back in a burst of laughter and return the hat to Professor McGonagall.

When Malfoy called Malfoy's name, Malfoy walked over like a big shot and got what he wanted immediately. He screamed almost as soon as he met his hat, "Slytherin!"

Malfoy went to meet with his friend Crabb and Gole, showing that he was very satisfied with himself.

At this time, there were not many people left. Harry seemed very nervous. Sauron smiled at him comfortably. After about eight or nine more students, it was finally the turn of-

"Harry Potter!"

As Harry walked forward, a sizzling sound like a small fish-scented flame suddenly came out in the restaurant. After the hat was buzzing on Harry's head, hesitated for a long time, in fact, it took longer than Neville to use it. Soren saw Harry seemingly saying something in the same class hat. Finally, the hat made a decision and it announced loudly-"Gryffindor!"

The whole table of Gryffindor cheered loudly, and the twin brothers shouted loudly: "We have Potter! We have Potter!" Sauron showed a happy smile when he saw Harry.

After Harry sat at Gryffindor's table, he turned around and looked at Soren. Soren smiled at Harry - Soren thought this was the day he had laughed the most so far.

Sauron was the last one, and he could feel a lot of people in the hall focusing on him.
